I don’t know who manages this place but, they need to get it together. The staff are working without any direction which makes the experience here a slow and painful one. Every time I come here it takes a good 20 minutes to get a sandwich. Oh, don’t get too much sauce on your sandwich because you will either get one or no napkins.

Umm Hope, she was trying to be quick which I’m grateful for but she was rude in the process. She should try to be a little more welcoming. I was trying to explain I wanted the foot long but in two separate bags(for my kids), but I must have been explaining it wrong and instead of her being nice and helpful about it, she was rushing and correcting me rudely. Towards the end she lightened up a little and said«thank you», but customer service should be great from beginning to end. I understand being quick is what we need but don’t rush me to the point where I’m uncomfortable and can’t think about what I need to purchase. Three stars because I came here before and got good service and the food is good, but if this was just depending on service today I would have given it 1 star.

Ryan Hover helped me and his hands work magic as he masterfully chose the right bread for me(Italian herbs and cheese) and he swiftly but gently put the ham on the bread and toasted that bad boy, and with his recommendation chose the right cheese for me… American. I will surely be coming back to this subway as his customer service was fast, kind, and I look forward to him making me sandwiches in the future. :)

This place actually deserves 1 star, but I am giving them two since I don’t know what the service is like — since they have been closed early every time I have come for a late night dinner salad. The worst part about their false advertising is that, I knocked on the door and the woman looks out saying closed. I pointed to the clock on their own wall and it said about twelve minutes to eleven. 11pm is when the sign says closed, so they are clearly open. She then looks up at the clock and then looks back at me and makes arm movements like I just slit OUT in baseball, and says«closed.» Freakin’ unbelievable. Worst Jedi Mind Trick Ever, it’s late, and I was starving and the trick didn’t work on me. The owner should at least have the courtesy of changing the sign to 10:45, or maybe they are unaware of this mischievous practice?

Worst Subway ever. Every time I come here there only one employee working. After long wait. I don’t eat pork and can’t use the knifes they use for the pork products. Keep telling the worker, please don’t use the knife. Yet he still uses the knife. I can’t eat it now, so what??? Trash $ 8. This happened not once or twice. I will never come back to this subway ever. If you are on special diet, or vegan don’t even come close to this place. This part is to the owner. Stop being so cheap and hire more employees. one person cannot cook bread, help customer, and handle cash at the same time.

I was the only customer in the store when the young lady who instead of taking my simple order my sandwich, made me wait while she finished putting on jalapenos and cheese on three trays of bread and then took her sweet time putting them in the oven before she she even took my order. Absolutely no sense of what customer service is about.

If you make it through the normal wait(10 – 30 mins) depending if the line has 1 person or 2 in front of you… They do hook up the sandwiches pretty fat. Pro Fat subs Con Long waits all the time at this location

Katherine, the filipino worker was awesome! Very patient and friendly. My only complaint is that sometimes the restrooms tend to be a little dirty. I think that homeless people come inside in attempt to freshen up, so watch out!

Okay, I have tried time after time for them to improve and its just not happeing. I have been here about 10 times or so and I have never waited LESS than 10 minutes, no matter how small the line was or if no one was in it! The employees are very very slow and they never smile or personable. The last few times, they talk about personal business with each other while helping customers and not paying much attention to them. I have gone when they are out of a certain cheese, when they are out certian mayo and even out of napkins. You might even wait up to 30 minutes like one time i went for a sandwich. No thanks, just go down to Spring Valley Sweetwater Rd or The other one in Lemon Grove.

One of the worst Subway experiences. So here’s a recap of my visit today: 1. Only 3 sandwich bread options available, and none that I like 2. No Coke 3. No napkins 4. No spoons… ordered soup and had to return 5. No chocolate chip cookies 6. No spinach Wow, I couldn’t believe it! On top of that, not even an apology for the inconvenience. I expected a better experience.

Not very pleased. I’ve ate at a million subways so I forgot why I don’t come to this one. Floors were sticky, sammich was sloppy, and«artist» was kind of an ass. I’ll jus stick to the one on 2nd street in El Cajon. Cheers Unilocalers

My girlfriend and I came into this location last night and ordered a couple sandwiches. We were helped by Javier, and he was super friendly and made the sandwiches exactly how we wanted. The food at Subway is good, but the friendliness of the employees at this location is the best.

The staff has been the most friendly I’ve ever seen at a subway — they thanked me for the order, thanked me for choosing subway and thanked me for exact change. I know most of their politeness is mandatory — but most employees at other subways still ignore it and look like they can’t wait to get on with their lives — but not here! I did have one major issue though — I asked for sauce on half my sub since I tend to only eat half and save the rest for later. Both ends had sauce which meant my other half got soggy and needed to be tossed. Boo!

Yesterday I used a coupon for the«Buy one sub with chips and get a 6″ of equal or lesser value for free.» I got a 6″ turkey, bacon avocado and a buffalo chicken. Guy working was AWESOME and hooked it up! Thank you! :) However, today… whole different story. Today, I got a footlong spicy italian with the 30 oz soda coupon so I could get the 6″ turkey, bacon avocado for free. Nope. The girl working(Rose, I think) said that the turkey bacon avocado is a premium sandwich and isn’t included in the coupon deal for a free 6″ sandwich. Therefore, she would have to charge me for the footlong spicy italian, the 30 oz soda, give me a turkey breast sandwich for free, then charge me for avocado and bacon. Wait, what now? I am paying $ 5.50 for the spicy italian, so a $ 5.00 sub should be covered in the«equal or lesser value.» Even if she wanted to do it her way, bacon and avocado is $ 1.35, added to a $ 4.35 turkey breast sandwich brings the total to $ 5.70, meaning only $ 0.20 should be added to my bill, NOT $ 1.35! COULDNOT get it through her head. She overcharged me, it was NOT fair. PLUS — the coupon DOESNOT say that premium 6″ subs are not included in the deal ANDDD why do people use coupons in the first place? TOSAVEMONEY. So I ended up paying nearly $ 10 instead of a simple $ 7.25 plus tax. Alls I gotta say is: RUDE. And next time it happens, I’ll make you take off the bacon and avocado, which you would have to throw away and waste anyway and then NOTCHARGEMEFORIT. Was not a happy camper.
