Got a carne asada burrito, the meat is old as hell, the beans are cold, and the rice looks like stuffing from a turkey… I don’t know what happened, but my girlfriends hamburger was tasty and this is supposed to be a Mexican food joint. Epic fail

The Carne Asada Fries is not Authentic. I’m from San Diego where it originated from. We do not EVER put lettuce in that. Its absurd, and the fries are fat. We use skinny fries. Having moved here I was skeptical about eating anything from a «taco shop» I was right this one is right by me too and I did not enjoy it. The meat was so bland, and who puts Nacho Cheese on a Carne Asad Fries?! Authentic fresh grated cheese is what is supposed to be used. Horrible experience. They should stop calling it Carne Asad Fries and call it trash.

Don’t waste your money on the Carne Asada Burrito. Tortillas were store bought, I found a very chewy bit of meat in my first bite. Their salsa tasted like… BBQ sauce?

The first thing I ordered was carne asada fries and it looked like a pile of slop. There was a mixture of horrible tastes piled on each other. Dry meat, dry potatoes, sour salsa and uncooked eggs. I tried their second dish on a different day, a breakfast burrito which was also horrible. The tortilla was cold and extremely dry as if it was straight out of the refrigerator. The chorizo, eggs, potatoes and other had no seasoning what so’ever. It was like eating a cardboard box with drywall inside. Maybe a third times a charm? Yes indeed, a winning streak of horrible food. This time I tried the quesadillas. The tortilla and the meat was again dry with a terrible after taste. A hint of soap? No thank you.

So I was hungry and decided I wanted asada fries… Should have read the reviews… Who puts nasty ass nacho cheese and lettuce on asada fries? I didn’t want nachos or a damn taco… Actually lettuce in asada taco would be nasty as hell too. It lacked salsa, guacamole, pico de gallo, and most importantly the damn meat. Stop covering the fries with nasty nacho cheese and put some meat on instead! Oh well no matter. I won’t be going back… 8 bucks for some bs asada fries killed it… Only in BFE do they do this ridiculous crap… Orange County, San Diego, Phoenix… Hell every where else doesn’t screw up fries like that… Only reason they got 2 stars is the food came out fast… Maybe too fast… Damn they probably got fries and crap just sitting… Fml Update: Just yacked… Now they lost the extra star

I randomly stopped here to grab a quick bite to eat and got the California burrito. I loved it. Decent size and a not bad price. The fries tasted fresh and the whole burrito was spot on. I haven’t even tried anything else since I know the Cali burrito is great. I like the picnic table atmosphere. Just try to avoid going when the high school gets let out. They get busy around that time.

Ordered chicken adobo torta was very delicious, would definitely recommend trying it. Would give this place a five star if it was not for the outside eating with all those pesky flies and tasteless horchata. Price is reasonable

I used to only eat tacos Los Juan’s but they jacked up their prices and the portions got smaller. I always pass this place so one day I decided to just give it a shot and WOW!!! Worth the money!!! It’s really good and the burrito is good sized! I can’t speak for anything else they serve as I haven’t tried it yet.

Location: Situated across Lemoore High School. You park on gravel/dirt. There are benches outside for you to eat lunch at. It’s definitely more of a take-out kind of place; the damn flies will bother you while you’re eating just like at White Top. Food: The shredded beef quesadillas and the carne asada burritos are probably the best items here. The quesadillas can be a little by greasy, but it’s a drive in on the side of the road, not a full scale restaurant. The burritos are huge, probably the biggest ones offered in town. Taste wise, it’s good but that’s all I can say. I love the sort of smokey taste the asada has, though. The biggest let down was the asada fries. I was disappointed to find not only the lack of salsa and the use of nacho cheese, but the addition of… lettuce. Dude, seriously — LETTUCE in asada fries? No, just no. Honestly, they don’t belong on the fries. Also, I must note that I am not a fan of the potatoes they use. They were thick cut, which is great, but they weren’t fluffy. Actually, the fries they use were pretty grainy. Portions, no complaints. Prices, a bit pricey especially for the LHS students. The food here won’t blow you away but it’s an alternative to La Iguana and El Grullo.

The place is okay. I only gave it 3 stars due to the let down of the asada fries… nacho cheese cannot beat good old shredded cheese. Every place ive tried the«asada fries» here in hanford/lemoore are good and use shredded cheese, thats where it went wrong for me. Robertitos in fresno n many places in san diego have the best by far asada fries I say. But thats just my $.02 The burritos n everything else are good, but the asada fries need work!

Came to this place, cause me and my cousin was passing by from SD(home of real carne asada fries). Walking up to the place there is a newspaper article on their carne asada fries. Hype is being built here. But they make cheeseburgers and hotdogs too??? Which one is it taco shop or hotdog stand? Bottom line I was disappointed. The price is very decent though. I had the carne asada fries, with everything on it. I believe they used nacho cheese??? Who does that??? Use shredded cheese. Then their fries was def something bought from fresh and easy no freshness at all. And no salsa with my carne asada fries? NOSALSA? When I asked for some, they looked at me weird like the combination was unheard of. Lesson learned, I’ll wait till I visit SD for my carne asada fries and to not trust high ratings with less than 25 people reviewing it. Thanks, but I’ll pass.

Burgers are blah. Burritos are above average. They only take cash. So don’t forget.

This is not your typical fancy mexican restaurant, basically all they have is about 4 – 5 picnic tables outside the place and all you do is walk up and order and after a few minutes your food is ready. Couldn’t resist and ordered the carne asada nachos and they definately hit the spot. Reminds me of those mom and pop eateries in San Diego. I’m planning on going back for more great food at a great price!

I ate a carne asada burrito here and the size menu kinda threw me for a loop. They have«small, medium, and large» size burritos and the prices increase depending on the size that you order. San Diego to me still has the best carne asada burritos around but this place hit the spot pretty nice. It’s one of my favorite types of places, small«Mom and Pop» style, nothing fancy but good food. I will definitely be eating here again!

Chicken burrito with everything on it was excellent! Spices, cilantro, not overwhelmed with beans or cheese like many places. A little lime juice for flavor. Walk up ordering, picnic tables on site for eating. No fluff, just good food.
