Gomer’s is easy to get to, right off 87^th St. Parkway. It looks small on the outside, but once inside you are greeted by a huge and extensive selection. I never have any problem finding something specific. It’s also a great place to browse and find something new to try! I’d definitely recommend Gomer’s.

The selection at Gomer’s is a solid 4.5 out of 5. But, there are minor issues. For being a bigger chain locally, they don’t seem to curry a lot of favor with distributors and end up getting curiously smaller quantities of «limited edition» stuff than Lucas and others. I’m not sure if they legitimately get less stock than others or the employees buy up that stuff; but it seems questionable. Secondly, the prices on almost everything are higher on higher end stuff. The beer prices are fairly consistent, but when I can buy Lagavulin 16 online, delivered to my door, for less than they allegedly buy it from a distributor? I call shenanigans. It’s an okay place to grab my beer, but they’ve pushed me to buy some of my booze online or elsewhere.

Gomers is right on my way home from work, so if there’s a new-​release beer, I frequently stop here en route. They’ve really stepped up their craft beer game recently, with many more selections, separated by state, to choose from. If there’s something special coming out, they will take your name down and try to save you one for the next time you’re in. Plus, their selection of wines and other liquors is really outstanding.

Good lord, where do I start. This place has just a crazy selection of stuff. Tons and tons of stuff that is super hard to find even. I love how their beer selection is separated by state and country, makes it easy to find stuff you are looking for and browse for new brews. Great selection of samplers from different breweries also. Their bourbon selection is top notch, all the big names, and many smaller distilleries. Scotch selection is phenomenal, stuff from every region and hard to find drams. I even bought a bottle of tequila here because they had such crazy unique stuff. I haven’t even wandered into the wine area… or the other far side of the store opposite the beer. I would drive from very far away to keep coming here.

The people are very friendly. They might not come and ask you but if you ask them they will be more than welcoming. The selection was fantastic! Great craft beers! Great chilled beer packs! Great wines! Liquor galore! Anything you need they will have it or get it to you… Just ask!

I’m a newbie to Kansas and I was surprised that Supermarket’s here do not carry wine. That’s okay because Gomer’s is a gem of a place that carries a variety of wines and spirits. They have a great staff and friendly service.

Like the other Gomer’s around the area, this location just off 87^th Street in Lenexa is stocked full of your favorite beer, wine, and spirits. It’s their wine selection, however, that distinguishes them from the competition. I love how their wine is broken down into regions around the country and globe. Looking for a Central Coast pinot noir? It’s easily tagged and marked in the store. Similarly, employees are well versed and helpful with any of your liquor buying needs.
Kansas offers plenty of liquor stores to choose from, but Gomer’s is a must for anyone who desires a better quality store with easy to find items and superior customer service.

This is one of my favorite liquor stores in Kansas City. It is right by my friend’s house and I love that they have Free State beer and a pretty decent wine selection.
This time I stopped in and purchased a six pack of Free State Oatmeal Stout and a twelve pack of assorted Free State beers. Living in Dallas I can’t get my Free State fix.
The employees are super helpful and helped me pickn out a nice bottle of wine for my friend for a housewarming present.
I will be sure to stop back by Gomer’s next time I am in KC.

Horrible service. Went in to get some wine… found what I was there for, but then starting looking around for other ideas. There were four people behind the counter and 2 customers (including myself)…do you think they bothered themselves to come out from the security of the counter to actually ask if I needed help??? Not a chance. Was ready to spend some good money but they do not care… they get paid no matter what.

Gomer’s is an excellent family business. The staff take great care of their customers. This is my favorite liquor store in Lenexa for the prices and the people. Also, the selection is massive — they probably have everything anyone could ever want. Occasionally when I’ve been there on weekend nights, they’ve actually offered free samples, which is beyond awesome.

This was a great liquor store to find while visiting KC! We were able to find tons of craft beers and I love that you can make your own 6 packs with their large selection of single bottles. I can definitely see this as being my go to store if I lived in the area. I was surprised about how big it is walking in because you really can’t tell from the outside. The staff were all friendly and helpful as well.

Gigantic! You can find just about anything here! Usually well staffed and reasonably priced! One of the best places to go if you are trying to get a lot at once, as you won’t have to go to multiple places!

I have been coming to Gomer’s since it opened and they always have what I need and stuff I want but don’t need yet end up buying it anyway.
Their selection is huge. So many beers and wines and liquors to choose from.
If you know you want a white wine to go with a certain meal but not sure exactly what you want they are more than willing to help you out.
Phil is a great assest. He seems to always be there when I go in and has helped me make many a selection.
During the holidays they have great gift sets especially with Crown Royal. Stop in and give them a try if you are in the Lenexa area.

Gomer’s in Lenexa doesn’t look all that big from the outside, but inside you realize it’s quite large. Not as big as Lukas Liquors, but big! There’s an excellent selection of wines, including a lot of Argentine and Chilean wines which I like a lot and are well-​priced! I’ll be back to buy some.
I went in to browse the liqueur selection, because I like cooking and baking with alcohol, and came home with a liter bottle of Santa Clara rompope, a Mexican egg-​nog-​type liqueur similar to Dutch Advokaat. It’s delicious served over ice cream or cake like crème anglaise (or try it as one of the «milks» in a Tres Leches cake!) or just in a small liqueur glass to accompany coffee. They also had a moderately priced French knock-​off of Grand Marnier on sale, so I picked up a bottle. It’s excellent for desserts, like Grand Marnier soufflé, chocolate truffles, or an orange-​chocolate cheesecake!
Other stuff I noticed included a good selection of ports, fine Oregon-​made (and pricey) eaux-​de-​vie, and real maraschino liqueur. The selection is definitely a cut above your usual suburban liquor store and I’ll be back before long!

This place is LARGE! The selection of liquors and wines is excellent. I found some hard to find oregon reds with the help of the staff.
I stopped for some IPAs and found little to be had. Of the three that I chose, none were available in the cooler. The pricing isn’t as nice as the Gomers in Parkville either. I will stop back for the wines, but not for the brews.

They have everything here, and I mean everything. From your standard domestics to some oddball microbrews, this is a beer lover’s heaven. Also an impressive selection of hard liquor as well as rows and rows of wine and champagne. The staff is very knowledgeable as well-​check it out, you’ll have a cart full of booze before you know it.

Five stars because you can get Brugal here! Best rum on the planet for all of you rum drinkers out there. nobody else in the metro has it.
I also accidentally knocked down a $ 100 bottle of vodka and they let me off the hook for it soooo yeah.. . i’m kinda obligated to give 5 stars. .. ..
