I still dream about the Forever Curry Chicken entrée! It was mouthwatering delicious. My boyfriend and I came here for dinner on a Saturday night. It was busy and without a reservations we were only able to get bar seating. We ordered the Forever Curry Chicken and a seared tuna noodle dish. The noodle dish was pretty underwhelming but the Forever Curry Chicken made up for it by far. I considered returning the next day just to get it again. It came with rice and spinach. I wasn’t in love with the spinach but with the curry sauce and rice it was pretty good. I would not recommend getting the noodle dish. It was pretty bland. But I would be curious to try their other chicken entrée next time… in addition to the Forever Curry Chicken. They also brought us complimentary salads before our meal which was nice. I will definitely be retuning. Thanks for the great meal Stardust!

How somebody can cook a meal so well on a hot plate and panini press is beyond me. You feel guilty about eating it. It’s fresh. The staff is amazing. I feel bewildered and confused. I hope I stumble on this place again.

Dined tonight at the Stardust Café in the heart of historic Lewisburg based on its high ratings here and on other reviewing sites. The restaurant itself has a quaint, comfortable ambience. The waitress was nice and professional. The food, however, proved a disappointment. Perhaps it was an off night for the Stardust, but my honey soy chicken was dry and only luke warm when served. The service was very slow, from getting the starter bread to the included salad, to the main course, to getting the check. One other odd thing… the bread we initially received was warm and slightly toasted, and drizzled with a lovely balsamic vinegar. When we requested more, the waitress brought us more, but it was cold and untoasted. Because I will be spending a lot more time in Lewisburg, I will give the Stardust Café another try to see if our experience was just an anomaly.

My wife and I used to come here a lot when we could afford to go out. Everything we’ve ever ordered was excellent and worth the price. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Love the fact they carry the big Rogue beer bottles. Have never had a bad experience here.

Excellent café in downtown. My wife and I shared a sandwich and the soup of the day. The New England clam chowder was yum. It had a good amount of seafood and was not over salted. The sandwich was great and had a big serving of chicken. Overall an excellent experience.

Great atmosphere but I don’t get it. The free bread was great(comes with balsamic and olive oil). We got an appetizer which was the same as the free bread only with roasted red peppers and goat cheese(hard to screw that dish up). They don’t have a kids menu but the waitress asked the chef to make our 3 year old a grilled cheese. That was the best of the 3 entrees we got(I’m not being facetious… it was a really good grilled cheese). The good ended right after the decent side salads. My ribeye looked good. It was a perfect medium rare. It came with a side of horseradish sauce which I thought was odd. Once I tasted my beautifully cooked steak I understood why it was there. My steak was poorly seasoned and the meat itself lacked flavor. There is no salt or pepper on the tables so you are relegated to the sauce. The greens on the plate were good and the mashed potatoes were meh. I’ve had much better rib eyes from Walmart. My wife’s Sicilian pasta was much the same story. Sausage was seasoned, unlike my steak, but incredibly dry. My wife made the comment that we make better food at home for 1⁄3 the cost of this meal. I agreed. Basil was present on every dish we had except the salads so you better like basil. Luckily we do. Service was good but the waitress certainly did not exude hospitality. We won’t return to this one.

Amazing local/seasonal menu with lots of gluten-free options! This is our go-to restaurant when visiting Lewisburg. The zucchini noodle pasta is awesome as well as the chicken! I would recommend making a reservation as it is a small dining room and a popular spot!

Great little trendy restaurant in the middle of no where(Lewisburg WV). I was at a meeting at the Greenbrier and went nearby to see the local environs. They do the farm to table support of local agriculture and focus on fresh ingredients and evolving menu. Very friendly staff and small place so be prepared to wait for a table. We had burgers and chips. Great food and great service at reasonable prices. I would gladly go back — if I am this far off the grid! :-)

A gem of an eatery ! The ambiance is wonderful. Their chef is awesome. I ordered their chicken curry and was very satisfied. The service is extraordinary. Although we did not have reservations, they seated us at the bar in their comfortable seating. Call ahead and leave your Am Express behind:).

I don’t know how many times my girlfriends and I ate here for lunch but i can tell you they never disappoint! My all time favorite thing to order here is the trust me salad and if you add chicken and roasted peppers it makes it even more amazing! The best place for lunch in Lewisburg!

Sooo good! If you’re passing through and need something to eat you should stop in here. I had the lobster bisque and the Gigi panini with chicken — both are really really good. The service was excellent! Check it out.

The menu is amazing, I am in West Virginia on work and did not expect such a great farm to table and local organic meat options. The music, ambiance and service were all lovely. I ordered the naked burger and it was delicious. My friends got salads and said they were the perfect balance of fresh, tasty and healthy fats.

Came in around 2:00pm and the place was packed. There were two seats left at the bar so my companion and I sat there. An added bonus was the friendly local also at the bar who was enthusiastic about the food. I ordered the Naked Burger. Rebecca, our waitress provided excellent and precise guidance on a small change I wanted to make to my order.(She is world class, ask for her). It was cool to watch Eric, the chef, masterfully cook and plate the food. The burger came out, artfully arranged. And wonder of wonders, it was cooked to medium temperature, exactly as I had ordered it. The food was delightful, as was the staff. Everything was perfect.

A pleasant surprise on a long road trip both the food and service were excellent and we enjoyed the small café environment. It is so nice to find a place without TV’s blaring in the background where you can just concentrate on your company and enjoy good food and drink

I don’t go out to eat much because I’m trying to save money, but once in a while, it happens.(The unfortunate alternative is being a complete hermit and a general downer to my friends.) If you’re into healthier food options, this is definitely a good place to be. I came here with three of my friends for dinner after lab one day and ordered a Trust Me salad(avocado, feta, tomato, sweet red onion, The Crazy Baker Granola & our secret dressing). It was amazing, and I usually don’t even like feta. :O Our server was very friendly and all in all, the food was delicious. The only reason as to why it’s not 5 stars is really just that I find it rather over-priced. :[ $ 14 is pretty steep for a salad. That said, however, this would probably be one of my favorite places to go to if I felt like treating myself to something nice, because everything else on the menu looks amazing. :o
