I’m not sure what happened to this place. We went when it first opened — there was a bar fight and a guy crashed into our table. Not a great first impression, but the food was good(cheeseburger wrap) and the beer selection was good. So we opted for takeout a few times. Tonight, went in for the first time since it opened and it’s a ghost town. There was no one there aside from employees(eating Chinese food at the bar), one tipsy patron and two college-age girls at a table. The majority of the taps were marked as «out» and many items on the menu were crossed out. We ordered two drinks and decided we weren’t staying beyond that. At one point, the tipsy patron was told to behave because«we actually have customers.» The waitress was pleasant enough, but it’s clear this place is on life support.

Stopped in for some food and beer on a Thursday night and was not impressed. Only fried food, not entrée availability. She brought a pitcher of beer over and it was $ 20. For one pitcher of draft beer! We left and went to a real place.

Something went wrong here. Walked in at 7:30 on a Thursday. Place was pretty much empty except some(what looked like largely under aged) barflies. They only had a limited fried food menu, most of the beer taps were out of order. Service was… unusual. I have to think this place is on its last legs. I wouldn’t suggest anyone go there.

This would be the third time here. The service is tooooo slow. We waited for our appetizer for so long that they ran out of fish on a Friday night at 8 pm with the place half empty. This is now the second time they did not have what I wanted to eat. That being said the food is very good if you can get what you want.

Just stopped in for a quick appetizer and a beer. 20 beers on tap so nice selection. Had the crab stuffed mushrooms which were really good. Would order again. Great, quiet little place in Lewiston!

Well, it took a while before I tried the food at BO’s simply because word-of-mouth hadn’t been great. I stopped in a few times for a beer and the staff is always great. Took the family out for dinner and the best thing on the table was a pint of Guinness. I’ll explain, dish by dish. Cali Chicken — Burnt, flavorless chicken. untrimmed and fatty. much of it not able to be eaten. Slumsomethingorother — An irish skillet dish with bacon, beef, thin sliced potatoes, onion, garlic and topped with cheddar. Unfortunately many of the potatoes were burnt beyond being edible and it was EXTREMELY greasy. It was the best thing ordered I’d say, but not at all worth the $ 13 I believe it cost. I also had to share it with everyone who ordered the next item, which was dreadful. Bison Burger — 2 bison burgers at the table, both severely overdone. They use some kind of maple glaze which I will bet consists of some Aunt Jemima. Literally, it was as if you slathered a bunch of pancake syrup on bison jerky and threw it on a bun. Everyone who ordered it was revolted and grossed out. Onion rings — very greasy, not cooked enough. Reuben Soup — It was good. Really enjoyed the corned beef in it. I’m not sure what to think about this experience… is this what it’s always like? I gotta admit, I can’t say I’ve heard too many good things food-wise about this place. The staff was very good and things moved quick even on a very busy night. Final result: 3 out of the 6 people that went were quite ill after.

I’ve been here a few times, mostly only for drinks. The bar service is fast and the drinks are not crazy expensive. They have a decent beer list as well. The EBC Chocolate Cherry Bomb is . I had dinner here the other night. The menu was a lot bigger than I expected it to be. It’s a lot of sandwiches and typical bar food but there’s plenty to choose from. We started with the fried pickles. Not the best but it’s hard to mess up fried pickles so they were good enough. They fry the whole spear rather than chips though. I also had the steak and stuffed pepper open faced sandwich. HOLYCOW. It was amazing. I’m sure I gained 7lbs after eating it but it was worth it. It’s served on garlic bread. The spiciness of the stuffed peppers, the saltiness/bloodiness of the steak and the absorption of the garlic bread makes it perfect. My friend had the Thanksgiving style sandwich and enjoyed it. I’m probably going to try that next time. After getting dinner, we watched a band play and had more drinks. It’s nice when you can have dinner and then watch a band/hangout at the same place.

I have been to this place a few times to eat, but last night was an experience that I’ll NEVERFORGET! The wait staff is usually pretty nice and all; but not last night! We were seated around 6:30 pm. The girl who waited on my family and I started off good– she brought us many refills and was polite… All that changed once we ordered our food –including one appetizer… My family and I were having a good time when we realized no one had brought us our appetizer… Our waitress passed us many times, avoiding eye-contact when she could, my mother kept asking if our appetizer would come, and the girl told us yes. We continued to wait as a large party was seated… We soon found out they had been friends of the waiters– which resulted in the LACKOFCARE for my family. The 15+ person party was automatically given drinks, and fish and more– thought my dad was told they had NOMOREFORTHENIGHT! After a LITERALHOUR of watch our waitress help her co-worker feed her family, my mother finally grabbed our waitress to ask her about our food, to which she replied, «oh! It’ll come!» My 9 year old brother began to complain and the waitress stopped passing out table! After another thirty minutes, my mom complained again and food was brought out– but ALLLUKEWARM and half of the stuff was not up to par with what we ordered! Our waitress never came back after that, and we had to find her to tell her we were done! When we got the check, she overcharged us! And buy the time we left it was LITERALLY8:45!!! I doubt we will be eating there anytime soon again!!!

What a horrible experience! We were seated in a back room that barely had any heat. We were told before we ordered that they were sold out of the fish fry. Place an order for an appetizer and our dinner order. We waited for over a half hour and asked once about the appetizer. To which our waitress responded, I didn’t know you wanted that before the meal. Waited even longer and then to our surprise a party that was seated after us, and obviously friends of the wait staff, were served their food, a fish fry that was«all sold out»!! Finally got our food, with no excuse for the wait. Food was lukewarm at best, my vegetables were cold. Finally after out food came out, we finally got our appetizer! It will be a long time before we go back there, if ever!

Food was«meh». Actually food was quite unsatisfying. They have a decent beer selection and good service. I wouldn’t go back though.

Came in here on a Saturday at about 6 and it was dead. Only one other table. My guess is that was a little too early and it’d pick up. Anyway, I got the chicken cutlet sandwich which was chicken breast covered in shredded cheese and BBQ sauce and bacon. It was DELICIOUS! it came with a side of fries and was about 8 dollars. They also have a pretty extensive beer selection. These days almost every bar has one, but this bar has a pretty decent one. We made a special trip to Lewiston just to make a trip out of a Saturday night and to check out some Christmas lights, so that’s why we went here. Would I go out of my way to go to this place? Not necessarily. But if I’m going to Lewiston for Art Park or something like that, I’d definitely go to this place. Typical bar food, but prices were well worth the decliciousness!

I heard they had pretty good wings so decided to get some take out one night. The wings weren’t awful but definitely not worth getting again. The medium tasted like nothing and there was barley any sauce on the wings, they were very dry. The honey garlic was slightly better but again lacked taste and dry. The wings themselves were good– a decent size and cooked perfectly. I am a fan of the drumstick so I didn’t mind, but there were only drums and no flats, which the rest of my group wasn’t too happy with. Maybe I will try it again and just happened to get a bad night, but there’s plenty of other options right down the street.

I haven’t even got my main meal yet but I need to review the stuffed banana peppers. Most amazing ones I have ever had. They do something different with them and it definitely works. Almost tastes more like a banana pepper lasagna. Definitely recommend them. I had to come back and review the rest since I’ve been a few times now. Pizzas are usually good. Everything else is hit and miss. Leaning more towards miss lately. Really stinks because the town could use a decent bar with good food.
