Shows promise but is lacking overall; overall just ok

Wow. I don’t think I could be more unimpressed by a tap room in Lexington. My hubby and I went on a Saturday afternoon with the goal of adding another stamp to out Brewgrass Trail passport. Despite the fact that there were almost no patrons around the place was trashed. Chairs askew, cigarette butts all over the patio, crumbs on the table. All things I could forgive if the place was bustling. But it wasn’t.
When pouring my beer the bartender cleaned off the taps with his hand and then proceeded to pick… something out of it, again, with his hands. Nasty.
Food is served here but if the dirty bathrooms. the half-​burnt, crusty, cheese Danish under dusty glass, are any indication of cleanliness in the kitchen then I’d avoid that at all costs. Seriously, the counter behind the bar was a wreck!

So i ask the bartender for a beer, he tells me it’s not pouring well so I get a blue stallion pilsner. The pilsner tasted nothing like it does at blue stallion. I finished it anyways and asked for a different beer. The bartender tells me that beer isn’t pouring well either and recommended a beer they made. It was completely flat. No carbonation whatsoever. So that makes four out of four beers that I asked for that weren’t right.
I know that stuff happens so I wouldn’t completely bury a place based on them having an off night with their taps, but here is the kicker: right after I taste that my beer was completely flat, another customer comes up behind me and asked the bartender if the beer that I just got was still flat and the bartender answered yes. So he knew that he was serving me a flat beer after telling me that two other beers weren’t pouring right.
You can literally walk in any direction from their location and arrive at a bar that has a better selection, better quality, better atmosphere, and better service. Not to mention the fact that they are overpriced. Avoid at all costs.

Definitely a nice spot to have a beer or bourbon. My favorite is when they open the big door and you have the option to sit outside/​inside. It’s a chill/​quiet bar and side of town (even with Green Lantern across the street) if you’re looking for a relaxing spot.

This is a great, laid back bar in Lexington. There are always a variety of craft beers on tap, and the pizza is excellent. It is easy to get drinks, the prices are reasonable, and the service is very good.

Very laid back atmosphere. Love the open garage concept. Perfect for a nice summer night. Good beer in mason jars– nice touch.

Love this place. Its just the right mix of pub, brewery and motorcycle shop. Plenty of craft beers & bourbon. Pizza is great and the staff is always quick with a drink.

Great local bar! Came in loved the place. Will be back!!! The staff is alwaya great and the beer is always super cold! Owners are always friendly when we come in! Congrats on a non frat bar in lex!

The Chase is brewing! I just had the El Dorado hop house brew, long awaited experiment #1! I was pleasantly surprised by the drinkability of this maiden voyage. Owner and brewer Chris Hefflin dazed me with brewer-​babble about his brewing methodology– all I understood was that the beer was tasty and would probably go great with a fresh pizza made in the back until last call. Check it out.

The old garage look interior and décor paired with a perfect classic 60’s/70’s rock and blues mix makes this bar totally «bad ass»…we dug it! The staff is super helpful and only adds to the super cool, chill vibe. And a did i mention, they are fixin to start BREWIN their own BEER, as if this place could get any cooler!!!
Overall– maybe a lil more beer to choose from would be nice (but i can wait till their own brew gets here) but other than that, this places is AWESOME and i am already making plans to visit again!

If you are looking for a low key place to visit your friends, or colleagues then this is the PUB !! It offers variety of Beers, wine, mix drinks at a very affordable price !! Chris the owner is a great low key guy and makes you feel so welcome to his PUB ! Also great place if you miss Beer gardens in Berlin, Germany !! I highly list this place as MUST SEE !!! Guten Abend !!!

My go-​to bar here in the Jefferson corridor. Since they have moved from Victorian Square the new location is much better.
The drinks are reasonable. The location is ideal. The parking is free.

I have never been to lexington before, but I will definitely be back. I just won’t be coming here. Me and a friend walked in at around 10, it was crowded and there were 2 bartender. As soon as we walked in a few of, what I’m assuming are the regulars, looked us up and down and just scowled at us. Ignored that and went and sat at the bar, the bartender saw us and put his hand up for us to wait a second, which is completely fine, but then went without greeting us for about 5 minutes and continued taking shots with the regulars. Finally the other bartender approached us and we ordered a pizza. It was the worst pizza I have ever had in my life. They must have emptied an entire pepper shaker on top of it, I couldn’t even eat it. They were very rude, very short with us. I will never be back there.
