Firehouse never disappoints. Hook and latter fully involved add peppers, pickles, oil & vinegar is my favorite sub!

Great service. Clean environment. Helpful for a first time experience answered all my questions, let me sample their chili before purchase. Very good sub’s. Watched them fully take care of a unsatisfied customer very well. Always aiming to please. Great service. Next time I’ll ask for less or no mayo but that’s just my personal preference(:

I am updating my review to 4 stars. I was impressed by a reply from a representative which indicates their concern about customer satisfaction. They do have very good subs.

My first visit was a winner. I tried the veggie sub, and it was very satisfying, well above average. The staff was friendly, the service was good, and the place was clean. When I go back to Lexington and want a good sandwich, I’ll visit this place again.

Made my first stop to Firehouse subs today. I do have to admit, a little pricey, what is lacking in the sub, they make it up in the amount of soda you get. Not sure if all subs are toasted, but wish I had that option if I wanted my sub toasted or not. Even though the subs are made to order, I wish I knew ahead of time what was on the sub as I might not want everything on it.(It is a given that cheese will be on the sub, but other than that it’s anyone’s guess as to what is on the sub). There is the drink machine. I have seen pop machines ask you if you want any type of flavor added to you drink — but this machine everything is computerized and not sure if that means more options for you to choose from. And just in case someone orders a drink with flavoring — you should not be able to taste the after effects of any flavoring. They do give back to first responders(fire fighters /emt works /police men). I saw a sign on the cash register if you want to round the dollar amount up, the extra money will go to the first responders. Also, from a non-pickle lover — they actually put the pickle they give you in its own wrapper — so the juices do not get on your sandwich!

Definitely best subs. Beats $ 5 foot longs every time. If its slow, they will deliver the food to you, or could be a firefighter thing. Last couple times I’ve come in ordered and my food was delivered to me. Plus they have that ultimate pop machine with like Coke Orange and Diet Dr. Pepper Cherry vanilla. If you’re a firefighter you get a free drink. At least I do. I love it. Highly reccommend Hook n Ladder or the Beef Brisket. Those are top 2 in my opinion.

Firehouse subs is the best sub shop I’ve ever been to, by far. It’s a little pricey, but is well worth it. It beats everything around. Try it! You’ll love it!

Subs are above average. Try the beef one and don’t miss the great BBQ sauce, it is private label, their own. super clean most of the time, well lit, and nice firehouse theme. Suitable for kids. staff are usually helpful and everything is custom made. Is part of a franchise or chain. Might be locally owned franchise for the National chain.
