Hot 4 Wings

I’ve had better Filipino food, the prices are a bit high and the quality isn’t that great. The wings had little taste, more hot than flavor and 1 very small ranch for 12 wings, More ranch cost extra. The Lumpia was mostly wrapper and very little filling, more like a fries than Lumpia. I lived in the Philippines for 6 years and my wife is from the Philippines, we were Very disappointed.

Food is awesome! I’m from Hawaii and the food here reminds me of home! We’ve tried the Crispy Lechon, Longinisa, Adobo, and Sisig. I’ve been satisfied every time. I ate there today and it was a flavor explosion! Loved it

Bottom line these people are obviously spending time making sure these wings are perfect. After you try these wings you will see the light. Buy the wings!!!

As I reviewed the reviews I found myself driving the 45 min distance to Lexington from Columbia to witness the authenticity of the reviews. I think that the biggest challenge on their Filipino food is pleasing the palate of the Filipino folks who actually knows how to cook Filipino foods. I think that the famous Pancit was lacking the authentic seasoning and ingredients it supposed to have. The chicken garnish was very dry, diced in mini bites and not seasoned at all. And it goes as well for the pancit taste. For quantity, presentation and taste, it is overpriced. Perhaps serving the dish in a paper plate doesn’t do justice either. One of my fave dish ‘kare-​Kare’ though it looks like it supposed to look was not tasty and too thick. Again for the price, it lacks enough ingredients and taste. The wings looked good but … anyone can fry wings and sprinkle lemon pepper.
This review is by no means a negative one but merely a notice to Filipinos (who can cook) not to expect something different. Perhaps our home cooking is better.

I ordered 8 items off the menu and all the dishes are authentic Filipino cuisine. I thought I was back in the Philippines. Big Fan. Try the pork adobo and lumpia.

Terrific authentic Filipino dishes in a no-​frills atmosphere. We tried the Adobo Chicken and Crispy Lechon – which we made fresh to order. (The lovely owner also gave us a free order of lumpia – which was divine! The dipping sauce was also amazing!) Overall, portions are generous; food was delicious and well-​seasoned.

Deff going to visit again. Nice management and good food. The only thing is I wish I lived closer so I can try something new everyday lol

It’s worth the long drive for me to go and have their wings and Filipino food. Their wings are fried to perfection and are so crrrrispy!

Outstanding Filipino food. I had the tapsalog (sp?) with langanisa sausage. The langanisa was home homemade and was nice and juicey with just the right amount of sweet and the right amount of spice. The fried rice was topped with a sunny side up egg. The portions were not small, but not very large. My dad and my Filipino step mother met some other Filipino ladies there for lunch and everyone love the food. hot4wings gets an overall 4 stars from me for authenticity, taste, and service. Minuses, which are really small minuses would be the bland ambiance/​décor and the so so portions. I would definitely eat there again.

I heard about Hot 4 Wings from a coworker. The lumpia wasn’t my favorite, lacked seasoning and over priced. The pancit on the other hand was right on. I can’t wait to taste the wings.

Did not like flavor of the fries (need to fresh cut).however they do have wing chips. .Went looking for some great wings. this place to us feel short. we had lemon pep. And garlic parm… something about the meat and the spices. .we have had better. Clean place it was Sunday. NFL football Sunday should have the TV on football instead of volleyball. .Not bad but not great either. our search continues

These guys know wings! Need to work on some of the sides, but the flavor of the wings are great.

Always good. Staff is friendly and food is great. They have a variety of foods from burgers Philly cheese steaks, wings and Filipino foods. We have tried almost everything on the menu at some point. I highly recommend this restaurant. Locally owned and not a chain.

Filipino food was absolutely amazing and the customer service was out of this world! Great to know the food is authentic and made fresh daily. With such hospitality you should change your name to «above and beyond»! Thank you for such a great visit ! We WILL be back!

The food is always good. They have some nice specials, and the prices as a whole are pretty reasonable, especially compared to other wing places, ahem, BWW, ahem. The service and quickness with getting the food out seems a bit uneven, though. I’ve had great service and very prompt food in the afternoon, and horrible service and very slow food in the evening, when they seem woefully understaffed. Over thirty minutes for 5 wings and fries, and over 45 minutes for rice noodles, and meanwhile people with the exact same order, who ordered after me, got their food a good 5 to 10 minutes before I did.
Dltr: great place for wings & Filipino, if you catch them at the right time of day.

Excellent wings and the shrimp rice noodles is delicious. They do have specials and the price is reasonable. Great customer service. Will definitely go back

Good food, really good wings, little high on price. With a little better specials, I could see me here very often.. Will still gladly return.

I was traveling through on business and decided to stop there. The prices are really good, the wings were OUTSTANDING and the staff were very friendly and courteous. Highly recommend!
