Prices are good, food is decent. My problem with Huey’s is that I used to find them kid friendly, now I will not go back. I understand my child is active as a child should be but, I do my utmost to instill public etiquette in his 2 ½ year old mind. I was in Huey’s a few months back and an elderly man all but yelled at me about my child. I waited a few months to return and this time my child was flawless in his behavior, the same elderly man was there with a friend of his and he was huffing and puffing about the child’s presence. I can honestly say through the angry stares from this regular, it was the most uncomfortable dining experience I have ever had! If you choose to dine here with toddlers I suggest a leash and muzzle for you child to keep the regulars at bay!

This is such a nice local place. The people who work here have been so pleasant each time that I have come in. They have a good menu selection and everything I have ordered has been tasty. I especially recommend the tuna salad sandwich. It is a nice place to drink some coffee and read the paper in the morning as well as to meet friends for lunch.

We had great service, good coffee and scrumptious brownie. Nice place to drop in while poking around the square.

My father and I stopped in this beautiful, little, brunch café early in the morning on our way to go on an admissions visit the nearby William Jewell College. We stopped in just for coffee, but decided to have a bit of breakfast too. We both ordered a café au lait; he got a bacon egg and cheese sandwich while I ordered biscuits and gravy. It was the most wonderful way to start our morning, and I think it greatly improved my outlook on the entire visit. We both sat at the window and quietly ate and drank our coffee as we watched the quiet hustle of Liberty’s Main Street. I must also add that the entire place was incredibly reasonably priced, and I didn’t feel like I was getting ripped off like at many breakfast places. I know for a fact that if I end up going to William Jewell, I will be a frequent visitor of Huey’s for coffee.
