Tried the famous rice ball, lasagna, wings and pizza. The Popeyes pizza is absolutely amazing with the taste of mozzarella flakes on every bite. Could have been better if they provide dipping sauce for the wings. Asked the waitress for bread and oil dip and she said they don’t have it, which is awkward for an Italian restaurant.

In this entire area, Boca Raton, Pompano Beach, Deerfield Beach, there are only two restaurants that serve great pizza, and this is one of them. We have been coming to this restaurant for a couple of years and have always had great food and amazing service.

Sunday is my pizza day and I’m not the one for something commercial. I’ve tried a few places in the Deerfield Beach area and they only ended up being«okay». Bland. Nothing special. So last Sunday I ended up venturing out into lighthouse point. I’m glad I did. This place was amazing because they use a brick oven. I only had their large pepperoni pizza but it was good and flavorful. Finally, I found some place that doesn’t serve pizza that tastes like ketchup on cardboard. I’m giving it four instead of five stars because the crust was a bit overdone. I don’t mind it that way but I’m sure others probably don’t. Other than that, I enjoyed it and would recommend.

The food is WONDERFUL here. The pizza is fantastic especially the fact they have a gluten free option. My only complaint is the service. The device SUCKED. My waters were empty most of the time.

You can tell the place is loved by many. Very busy. You could barely walk in. Have to say the staff was great! Even though we were two in a huge crowd, they all made sure to acknowledge us. The food was okay. We got bruschetta, a large pepperoni and The Lieutenant. Crust was black… Nothing amazing but it was pretty good. The food gets a 3. Staff gets a 5!

I have to admit I was skeptical at first, but now I’m pretty crazy about this place. My parents frequent it and I’ve been a few times now as well, and haven’t had a bad meal yet. The service is always very pleasant as well, so we probably come once a week or so while we are down here for a casual dinner out! It’s a casual setting with a decent size bar, usually the wait isn’t too bad and happy hour goes until 7! Great happy hour specials on drinks make it worth going a little early(you can get the specials at your table too!). The pizzas are thin crust and you have to get at least one to share for the table because they’re fab, but I’ve also tried a bunch of their entrees, apps, & sides as well. The Tuscan salad is a great starter and the small is big enough for 2 – 3(menu says 1 – 2 but it’s big!) I also loved the fire roasted artichokes with garlic aioli they had on special the other night, well done. The fire roasted shrimp dishes are to die for if you’re a seafood fan, the pasta dish comes over spaghetti with a lemon garlic white wine sauce that is wonderful, but they are great about substituting — my aunt got the fire roasted shrimp over their truffle risotto — amazing! The bolognese & garlic and oil pastas are pretty delish too, and my dad tried a pear & Gorgonzola tortellini special that he raved about. The specials are pretty much always a hit! Portions are pretty big so you can share, but we prefer to take things home for lunch the next day.

Nothing to go back home and brag about. Pizza was lame. Eggplant tasted blah tomato paste It had a nice complimentary salad. Spaghetti and meatballs blah. Nice attempt. Server was very nice. They need to spank that sauce up. Small pizza for a large.

What can you say about the Sicilian oven that hasn’t already been said in their multitude of 5 star reviews. We ate at the Sicilian oven several times over the past couple of weeks. Each time we enjoyed everything that they served. They have a great concept going order many items on the menu are very reasonably priced and all able to serve several people works great for good old Italian style dining lots of food, great quality, excellent cook. They do have two brick ovens and they both do a phenomenal job of making many of the items on the menu. You cannot go wrong with their pizza any of the many that are listed, also the arancini was excellent, and the salads are out of this world. We ordered carryout salads several times during the last few weeks that we were in Pompano keep up the good work Sicilian oven pretty soon you will be national.

We tried The Hit man pizza… very fresh and cooked perfectly. It was indeed spicey, just as advertised. We’ll be back to try more!

First time trying Sicilian Oven, we did take out. The oven baked chicken wings were incredible, so much flavor and cooked perfectly loaded with caramelized onions. Also tried the pizza, it too was tasty, fresh tomatoes and herbs rally gave the pie a rustic charm. Lastly we tired there version of garlic bread, I’m guessing if we had it the restaurant it would of been good but it was packaged in a clear plastic container so when it got home the moisture in the container made the bread wet and soggy. We will definitely go back, maybe next time enjoy our meal on site.

We had very good lunch there. Ordered the Sicilian salad, with delicious dressing. Then we had a white pie & Brooklyn pie. Both were very good & crispy. For dessert we had Zeppoles which were delicious, originally they brought them out with cinnamon in addition to powdered sugar, but there was soooo much cinnamon it was uneatable. They had no issue with replacing the dessert. We will be coming back for sure.

First Great Find of the New Year! Great thin crust pizza with cheese next to crust, sauce and sliced basil on top. Loved it!!! Entrees are large enough to be shared. Chicken parm and Sicilian stack(eggplant, mozz, tomato, basil) were out of this world. Reasonable prices, excellent service. Going back tomorrow!

I love this place! Food is always amazing! I always order the rice balls and the spaghetti & meatballs(dinner portion comes with 2 meatballs) it’s garnished with parmesan cheese shaves, ricotta cheese and house made pesto — AMAZING!!! My husband loves their risotto, it’s not on the menu, only on specials. I highly recommend this place!!!

We have ordered delivery from Sicilian Oven several times via Delivery Dudes, mostly the wood fire Pizza which is pretty good, but yesterday we went to have a late lunch at the actual restaurant for the first time. We sat at the bar which serves beer and wine only. The restaurant was a bit dark, the dining room is large and well laid out with regular tables and high tops through out, service was friendly for the most part. We noticed several of the servers(mostly young girls) were gathered at the end of the bar looking bored, we were there before the dinner rush so the place wasn’t busy yet but the Service staff should be aware that they may still have a few customers like us and it made us feel uncomfortable to watch them just standing at the end of the bar as we are trying to eat lunch. We ordered wine and Pellegrino to start, we were surprised that we weren’t offered any garlic rolls or any type of bread. We started with the Arugula Salad served with brushetta, Parmesan cheese and their homemade vinaigrette — The Arugula was fresh, but we didn’t care for the dressing, it was overwhelming, and overly drenched the salad. For lunch I ordered the Ravioli Bolognese, the pasta is not made fresh and tasted like it was previously frozen, the sauce was good and tasted fresh which is why it was so disappointing to have it served with previously frozen Raviolis. My husband ordered the Penne Cervelletta with Broccoli rabe, he enjoyed the sausage and the rabe but he wasn’t thrilled with the Penne, we asked how their pasta was prepared and our server confirmed that they do not make any fresh pasta, they only prepare the sauces, this is disappointing for a restaurant that advertises home cooked food however doesn’t make their own pasta. Pizza 4 stars Italian Food 2.5 stars Service 3.5

This place is a total Anthony’s copy job, right down to the bottled Iced Tea. The food is Ok and less expensive than Anthony’s, but Anthony’s are nicer restaurants overall. This place is dark and dreary and the servers look like they’d rather be home watching soap operas. A good value, if nothing else.

Of the myriad of so-called Italian or pizza restaurants, I tend to be a fan of Sicilian Oven as its pizzas tend to be out of the ordinary, more unique in offerings and their other food definitively Sicilian as opposed to being some sort of Italian of generalized Sicilian generic. When I first walked in, my eye was immediately taken by the fact that they had not one but two open fire ovens and that their kitchen area was in plain view, keep neat and orderly with a clean appearance. Their pizzas tend to be of the ticker crust, but of good texture. When they have it(it’s generally on daily special only) their clam pizza with a white based sauce is not only unique but one of the best. When last here I ordered their roasted artichoke, their cervelatta and a glass of Chianti wine. My server, Dillon, couldn’t have been more professional, polite and helpful. My glass of wine came with a full pour and when my artichokes arrived, they were three half cut portions of good size, perfectly open fire roasted, done with fresh to the taste lemon and bowl of tasty dipping sauce. They also didn’t forget to give me an extra bowl for the leaves. The cervelatta came as a traditional rope sausage nicely open fire roasted on a bed of sautéed onion and roasted red pepper. Though I think more of Cambria area, hence not technically Sicilian as it is separated by the Strait of Messina, cervelatta is still from the«toe» of the Italian boot, true Sicilian enough for me, totally unlike the Swiss counterpart, cervelat. As there aren’t that many restaurants that keep true to Sicilian or where you can get an artichoke anything or a cervelatta, Sicilian Oven is about as good as it gets for what it is.

In my honest opinion, this place makes the best pizza in Broward County. It’s a fairly small restaurant that’s nicely decorated and has a «home» feel to it. It is ALWAYS crowded, so make a reservation if you don’t like to wait(or settle for a seat at the bar — which is the option I usually go with.) They also provide convenient curbside pick-up for carry out orders. The service is pretty good overall. I have had a rude server here in the past, but it is not a regular occurrence. For an appetizer I usually get the Tuscan Fries. These things are delicious but they’re a little heavy, one appetizer would be enough for about two to three people. The pizza. This is why I keep returning to Sicilian Oven. «The Boss» just can’t be beat when you’re in the mood for a quality pie. The combination of their homemade sauce, fresh mozzarella, and sweet basil is a match made in heaven. The crust is always crispy & just the right thickness. When I’m a little more hungry than usual(the munchies…) I get it with sausage & meatballs and it’s amazing. My other favorite pizza here is «The Hit Man» which is a combination of sausage, garlic, red peppers and hot peppers. It is SPICY so if you are not a fan of a burning mouth then stay far away! I personally love food that makes me sweat so this one is right up my alley. The flavors compliment each other very nicely and even a small pie is filling due to the amount of toppings. I can’t speak on the desserts because I have never tried them, although when neighboring tables have ordered them they have always looked excellent. I would try them if I wasn’t stuffed every time I finish one of their pizzas! The only drawback of this restaurant(in my opinion) is the lack of a liquor bar. There seems to be enough room for 100s of bottles of wine but there is no liquor offered at all. If I could have a bourbon with my pizza, they’d be getting the full 5 stars.

Been so many times to this place and they always offer up the best quality pizza. When I left there was 15 – 20 people standing outside to get in. Prices are good and the place is clean.
