This place is the . Great service, friendly staff. I am a picky eater, and they know how to make my order every time. The prices are reasonable and the food is ono! I am glad they are so close by to my office. They are extremely awesome people who work there and the food is on point. Thanks Plantation Coffee :)

Really, really bad coffee and food. We stopped by for a simple bagel w/butter(it was fine– I mean, a toasted bagel with butter, come on), but the breakfast burrito was like something from a vending machine. The coffee was so bad we both took a sip and basically threw it away on our way out. $ 15 for two coffees, a bagel and a(small) burrito. Don’t waste your time or money.

The location is the last office building on the left after the post office… I didn’t think that such a place would have a breakfast and lunch place. Quick and easy, fresh food with sufficiently good service

This place is so fake! It’s all Costco food they have microwaved and sell. The oatmeal is literally the whole grain oatmeal with the dried fruit on top. «Mangos and cherries» my ass. The pictures on the walls do no show what you are really getting. The coffee tastes bad. When I got there and the women were being very slow and disorganized. One(Gail?) was on the phone swearing and complaining how slammed they were. Really unprofessional. I was literally the only costumer in the store while there were at least 3 women working. I’ll give them the food tasted alright, but only because it’s all from Costco.

The oatmeal and iced tea are delicious. Staff are friendly, shop is clean, menu options are healthy, and there are a lot of parking stalls.

Iced coffee with frozen coffee for ice cubes(genius), delicious cookies, free wifi, and the friendliest staff(big shoutout to Kawika and Sheena!) I’ve ever encountered at a coffee shop? What’s not to love?!

Like one of the photo’s illustrates, this is really a sandwich stand that is in the lobby of the Plantation building. The food was ok, but service wasn’t so great. I didn’t get what I wanted(a panini vs. a cold sandwich) and it took 15 minutes to straighten it out. As far as I could see, there were no other customers in there. Anyone can make a mistake, it’s how you recover from it that makes or breaks a place. In my opinion, this was a break, not a make. Three«wafer thin» slices of roast beef on an $ 8 sandwich also seems on the miserly side of things. I’d probably keep going next time.

Delicious sandwiches and food! Coffee is so-so. Smoothies are awesome! Kind of hidden bc it’s in an office building foyer. Check it out!

Fantastic coffee and food! A must visit when in Kauai. Kavika is so friendly, as is the rest of the staff. Very quaint/cute place. When entering come to the back. We will definitely be back :)

Located in the heart of Līhu’e, Plantation Coffee Company is a quaint little grab-and-go or dine-in no fuss café situated inside the [old] Lihue Plantation Building behind First Hawaiian Bank. While, to the unknowing passerby, Plantation Coffee Company can be somewhat difficult to find(because of its off-the-beaten path location), once you discover them, you’ll see that Plantation Coffee Company boasts a casual and welcoming atmosphere, a broad selection of affordable, fresh and made-to-order breakfast and lunch menu items, friendly and attentive employees who always welcome you with a smile and free WiFi! So, if you’re in the area and looking to experience something new, I recommend giving Plantation Coffee Company a try.

After flying in from Kona early in the morning, we stopped here for breakfast. Just what we needed! It was a little difficult to find but a local pointed us in the right direction. The food was perfect and we even ordered extra sandwiches for our hike later in the day. Chris, was great! We wanted to put him in our pocket and take him with us around the rest of the island of we could!

5 stars! Gotta love this place; quaint and local with good prices. The food is fresh and the people are friendly. Can’t go wrong with a quick breakfast here, and their lunch packs are perfect for a healthy on-the-go lunch. They give back to their customers too! If you ask for a loyalty card, you can eventually get a free lunch! –I would recommend the veggie sandwich or the hummus plate. Not to mention their coffee is excellent too ;)

The place is a little hard to find hidden in the building I would’ve never thought it was in. The menu is displayed and very easy to read the food pictures on the wall where exactly what you got. The lox bagel was amazing and one of the best lox bagel sandwiches I have had. Price was extremely reasonable compared other bagel shops on the island

I got a sunrise bagel breakfast sandwich with bacon, and an iced vanilla latte. The bagel sandwich was alright, nothing to write home about. Plain bagel, 2 scrambled eggs, a slice of tomato, some melted cheese, and some chewy bacon. The vanilla latte was so sweet that I had to throw half of it in the trash. Also, it had a bunch of coffee grounds in it. My husband’s iced americano also had a lot of grounds in it. We only went here because we were waiting to catch a flight out of Lihue, but I don’t think I would return. If I did, I would definitely not get an espresso drink here.

Friendly local restaurant. I didn’t have a chance to try their coffee but had their tuna sandwich for lunch. It had a bit of a kick with wasabi. It came with chips and a cookie. Was a bit of a challenge to find but felt it was worth it.

I got an iced caramel coffee & my husband got the macadamia nut and both were really good! We are on vacation so our thing is all local spots — no chain coffee shops or restaurants! My parents got a hot caramel coffee & it was a little stronger than what they usually like but easy fix. Good coffee & friendly people!

Tunamelt with wasabi sauce. The end! Great local business with a great selection. My office is nearby and its a great place to grab a quick bite! The service is great. The wait time is relaxed. There’s more things I want to try but I figure this will help you understand that you need to try it!

This is an amazing little hole in the wall. People here are amazingly nice, it’s almost too good to be true. The service is great and everyone is so welcoming. I would definitely come back everyday if I lived here, but sadly I don’t. Their MacNut iced coffee is DELISH.

OK the food and environment are probably a 3 star but the food is fresh and very inexpensive with VERYFAST service: $ 5 gets you a very nice sandwich, with chips, a soda can, and a cookie. try to beat that price in downtown Lihue! I give it an extra star because they are really trying to reach out and teach some troubled youth a work ethic… noble goal that deserves your support. check it out
