Cape Fear River Adventures

We found this service online while looking for canoe access. Their website offered several tours ranging from a few hours to overnight. They accommodate single, groups, reservations. They have equipment which seemed to be in excellent condition to include tubes, canoes, coolers and everything else to include sunscreen their explanation of their packages, and different routes to include the description of the water was spot on. They offer a shuttle service which is what we were interested in as we did not want to take two vehicles. For 25.00 it would have cost us that in gas. So we signed off and away we went. Water was beautiful. And even though they were booked solid the river was still quiet and serene. After our two hour canoe trip it took us over 40 calls (you cannot leave a message or text) to get through we then were brought a bus to load equipment and people but not boats. That wait was another 30+ minutes. It’s only a 3 mile walk. If

The place to go but if you are looking
For shuttle only… Take two cars for we spent as much time waiting as we did canoeing. A piece of advice that would make this south better schedule pick ups every 30 minutes or get a second phone line.
