I can not say enough about this restaurant. The food and the service is outstanding. They have a deli, restaurant and Pizza house. All are outstanding. They have two nice bars and a seafood area.

My wife and I came here for our anniversary, the food and the service was awful, our waitress was more interested in talking with other waitresses than getting our order. When the waitress finally brought our meal it was undercooked, my wife also had a very weak drink 13 dollars, Never Again !

Went here on a Saturday around 630pm and sat outside. I got the watermelon sangria and husband got the champagne sangria. Huge cups and both were extremely delicious. The table bread was delicious. We got the chicken parm, cannelloni Bolognese and margarita pizza. Everything was incredible and can’t wait to go back. The chicken parm was so good. Can’t say enough how good everything was.

Hideous food, overly priced food and drinks, go there only for the ambience and the courtesies. Andrew’s has so much better bread than here. Trattoria’s bread got hard even before I got up.

Any Luciano restaurant is amazing-you literally can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. THEYEVENHAVE A GLUTENFREEOPTIONFORPRACTICALLYEVERYTHING. My personal favorite is the Pollo Aragosta-I get it with mashed potatoes and the dish is to die for! The sauce is amazing. The service is always perfection and the special seasonal cocktail menu always hits the spot. You also MUST get the dessert with the strawberries with whipped cream-ask for it and they’ll know what you’re talking about!

Came here valentines weekend. Never been. Perfect Was busy but we made reservations. Tables were adorable, décor was soft and romantic. Dim lighting nice sitting areas. «Ambience» Our waitress Samantha was so friendly, knowledgeable and awesome at her job. Thumbs up kid We both got sangrias and they were huge! And delicious. Ten dollars so about average. I didn’t drink anything else but the drink menu looked about on par with anywhere else I don’t remember exactly what I ordered :(but I know the portion was awesome and the food was amazing. Delicious! They have a pizzeria and a deli in the same plaza and I have heard nothing but good things. I’ve gone to tr ginger a few times just for drinks and had just as great of an experience. The owners of this business seriously have it locked down. Amazing !!

Food was good, had a lovely night with my in laws. But, younger girl working at the front needs to work on her non verbal communication skills. Came in, in laws accidentally made a reservation for trattoria express(wasn’t crowded anyway at either) and the facial expressions and looks we received and saw her make to her manager were hilariously insulting. Attitude, short one worded answers, even after I apologized for the mix up, until we were shown to our table.

I gave Trattoria another try for a dine in lunch yesterday just to be sure that I hadn’t gotten lucky during the last visit. We couldn’t have been more of a difficult guest, our customers(3 of us and 3 of them) were running late and we had a meeting so we decided to order our food before our guests arrived. Our server couldn’t have been more kind about the obviously horrible situation for her. Our food came out quickly and the customers showed up shortly thereafter. They ordered immediately and their food came out quickly too. Great job Trattoria.

We will only go to Trattoria when we’re staying around the Cumberland/lincoln area. Truthfully it’s the only restaurant that is worth going to if you’re looking for an enjoyable meal for two. The food is fantastic and the service is generally very pleasant and quick. A reservation is strongly suggested as they can tend to get busy around the dinner hours.

After I contacted the manager about our previous experience, because I felt it really was something that shouldn’t have happened the way it did – he convinced us to come back and give them another shot, also saying that he’d use our initial experience as a training tool – which in truth, I hope they did. It was a situation that could have easily been avoided had the manager actually taken proper control of the evening. We decided to dine again, and this time we brought our kids(who are 9 and 12). It’s a fine dining restaurant, so there rarely are kids there, but we wanted to see how they’d handle children as well. Our kids aren’t little a**holes in public, so we’re off to a good start. We were seated and our server approached us(I’m terrible with names, but I wish I remembered hers). She had great personality, and almost immediately acknowledged the kids, as though they were taking us to dinner. We enjoyed that – they like being spoken to at dinner as well. She told them of a few kids’ items that are not on the menu(they don’t have a «kids menu» which is par for the course of a fine dining establishment). My son had his heart set all day on chicken parm, and she said she would make it happen for him. My daughter chose a shrimp scampi pasta, I had the dinner special Chilean Sea Bass, and the Husband had the special hearty meat ravioli, even though the other special was his favorite, lamb osso bucco. If you dine here and this is a special, GETIT. It is nothing short of amazing. But he was more intrigued by the ravioli, and went for that. Upon deciding on dinner, I asked for a wine recommendation with my food. Normally, the Husband hates when I do this because I often know what will pair well, but want to see what they suggest. The server suggested three wines, each for different reasons. She then told me she’d bring a sampling of each for me to choose, a very nice touch. I chose one(which I actually didn’t think I saw on the By The Glass menu) and they were great. Each of the meals were fantastic, and my son – who will eat a wider range of foods than most adults – cleaned his plate and claimed it was the most tender chicken he’d had. Husband cleaned his plate as well. He loved the sauce. It wasn’t my favorite dish, but then, that wasn’t the type of dish I’d order. My fish was excellent. Daughter’s scampi was great, she couldn’t wait to eat the leftovers the next day. The vegetables were cooked perfectly, but still no seasoning on them. It’s easy to add S&P at the table, but often at an establishment like this, I’d like to eat the food as the chef intends. I think it would be great to see some seasonings on the vegetables just to take them up a notch. But the service was fantastic, and it definitely made a difference. I’m sure our table was likely put«on alert» to ensure we had a better experience, but in all honesty, I think that both the manager and myself were reasonable in our expectations and he was generous in wanting to correct the issue. Given the few experiences we’ve had, we’ll give it another try for sure. The food is usually excellent, The wine list is large, but not overwhelming, and it really is a great Italian dining experience.

First off… Their penne bolognese is awesome! This restaurant is conveniently located right near the Lincoln mall, so if you want to sit down for a good Italian meal after shopping you can. They offer 3 different sangrias, white, red and champagne. They are all really good and come out in a big glass with a bunch of fresh fruit for garnish. I really like their ambiance in the restaurant. It’s dark and intimate. They also have tables outside with heaters for warm nights. Over all great experience, the staff was friendly and attentive. Good for date nights or family dinners.

Reading some of the not so great reviews on Unilocal made me a little nervous to try this restaurant. I was going with my parents, fiancé, my sister and her fiancé. My Dad who worked in the restaurant industry for years always has high expectations when we go out. The service was top notch. The hostesses, bus staff were constantly welcoming you to the restaurant. Krissy was our server and she was absolutely fantastic. She was really friendly, had a great sense of humor and was very knowledgable about the specials, menu, drinks etc. We started with a round of drinks. My fiancé and I had Raspberry Lime Rickey’s, they were light and refreshing. My Mom got a champagne sangria which came in a huge glass, she loved it best sangria she’s had. My sister had a Bellini Martini which was perfectly shaken and served. My Dad ordered a bottle of Merlot for dinner for himself, my fiancé and sister. There were a lot of specials we ordered the stuffed mushrooms and calamari for apps. My Dad had a salad which after seeing how fresh and delicious it was I regretted not ordering one myself. The entrees came out perfectly timed from when we had finished our apps. Everyone ordered some type of pasta entrée. I had the chicken Marsala it was amazing. It was so tender and moist. Best Marsala I’ve ever had. We ordered 3 desserts and shared them. The chocolate molten cake was unbelievable. It was sweet and hit the spot. The men had espresso which was served with a tiny piece of biscotti. I ordered tea and it came in a little silver tea pot. The restaurant is a little pricey for some items entrees go anywhere from $ 17.00-$ 45.00 depending on what you want. It was worth every penny. The great thing about this restaurant is right next door is the deli, which is actually a restaurant that is more casual and has a slightly different menu. The owners also have a oyster bar and pizzeria in the same plaza. We will be back.

I was graciously invited to this restaurant for a work meeting/dinner. We were seated in a nice private room all to ourselves(about 20 people) we had two servers. We all got a chance to sit down, get comfy, grab a drink and chat for a while before dinner orders were taken. After we ordered our dinners we were served apps to share and bread. The food came out fast and hot, which is all I ask for when I go out to eat. Just please let me pay for hot food. I had the salmon topped with some lobster and a cream sauce, it was delicious! I wish I had had leftovers haha. I also tried the chocolate lava cake with a glass of port to end the meal. Oh yeah and had a work meeting, kind of hard to focus when your having such a good time. I was listen… seriously! Just in case anyone from work sees this… I cant wait to go back on my own time and sit at the bar, that looked like the place to be if your not with a big group. Great service, awesome food, why wouldn’t you try it???

This place has decent food, I’ve had better in many other RI restaurants and not priced as high. I think what really ruined it for me was that both times I have dined here with various people, we have had disappointing and lackluster service. We were seated and ignored by servers, while they conversed with«regulars» seated after us at nearby tables — who so happened to also order and get meals before us. During the second visit, I had to proactively ask about the specials. Not to mention, the servers disappeared after taking our order and needed to be flagged down for our checks. As I initially mentioned, the food was okay and I have had food just as good if not better in other restaurants. I would order from the takeout section located next door if I ever gave this place another go.

The food was good, however my martini had a gnat in it. The server Roberto was less than average. I asked for no cheese on my chicken parm and it arrived with cheese. I didn’t send it back because it took way too long(Roberto said they were«backed up») and I had my toddler with me. My husband asked for penne and got fettuccine and my mother-in-law got a Caesar salad instead of Wedge.

Ate at trattoria Romano last week for lunch with some colleagues. The service was very friendly and fairly quick. The food was very good overall and the bread they served as an appetizer was awesome. I could have just eaten the bread and been very happy. I had the Capri sandwich which was good. It could have used some salt or a pesto sauce but still tasty. The others got a steak tip special which looked great and a Caesar salad. Based off of the clean plates I assumed there were very good too.

I really like the food here. I came here like 2 years ago for work and loved it, but now i’ve actually moved closer to teh area and came again and it was even better. Sevice both times was amazing. we had big groups of people each time, so that’s a huge deal to be able to provided such a great service with parties over 6. love the food, its got all different types, prices just good for even a picky group. Very nice wine selection and seem to be very knowledgeable about help with to pair with a meal, which is great because I know nothing lol Super clean, nice low light atmosphere perfect for a date or romantic dinner. I will be back again for sure

I heard so much about this place and was so excited to try it. I will start with our table was off balance. So right away I requested to be moved, easy enough. Then throughout the entire dinner fruit fly nat’s were buzzing all around our food and wine. Not very pleasant at all. Grossed me out to think they may be in my food also. The bread and oil was fantastic. Ate a lot of that. I ordered tortalini which it stated had mushrooms peas and asparagus. Not a spot of asparagus was found, when I questioned it the waitress stated«it’s ground up in it». Then don’t list it as sautéed I wanted to say. Very expensive wine, and served in a beautiful glass, except for 16.00 a glass I would have expected more than 4 sips in a monstrous glass. All in all food was ok, service was ok, and the bread was delish! We will not be returning as it was not worth the money and the massive fruit flies was a huge turn off for me.

Nice little gem of a place for above average Italian cuisine. I have never eaten here & been disappointed. This place even won over my veal-hating husband! They serve bread with this delicious flavored oil that is to die for. It’s so good, you just can’t stop eating it. So I can’t give any insight as to the appetizers. Almost everybody in my party really enjoyed their meal. There was one person who wasn’t too impressed with her plate. But overall, I think most people enjoyed it. The atmosphere is charming. The décor is nice. They do have an outside dining area, but the weather was too hot for us to entertain the idea of sitting out there. It’s too bad, because they had love entertainment that day. Was a little chilly inside the restaurant too. But, that just may have been me, because nobody else seemed to be uncomfortable. I only gave 4 stars because of the service. Our waitress was rushed, & very rude. She said on more that one occasion, «are you ready yet, or do I have to come back again?» in a very condescending way. Mind you, we were a party of 8 w/2 people that had a language barrier… and she returned 3 times in the span of about 5 minutes. The attitude persisted throughout our stay. When she came to ask us how everything was, there was a little bit of a delay in answering due to the size of our party. I guess she felt that deserved a rude«yes or no» comment. Really, is that how you ask if you’re enjoying your meal? And, there were a few people in our party who wanted refills… and of course, during that time, she was nowhere to be found. I’m sorry, but when I go to a place as expensive as this, I expect better service. The waitress obviously did not want to be there & she made me & me party uncomfortable. This is the one time during a dining experience that I wish the manager came out & asked how everything was. Oh well… it won’t stop me from returning, but I certainly will not allow that server to wait on my table again.

This place is between 3 and 4 stars for me. I love the bar and restaurant area, linen table clothes, candles, romantic, yes, I like that look. Here’s the downside, the 2nd time we went there, they brought us through the dining room to another area and when I sat down my first thought was«NO». We were in a porch area that had the clear plastic coverings, kind of like a wedding tent. Not a big deal but that’s not where I wanted to sit. I like the ambience of the main dining room so I asked to be moved, and they did move us but again to another part of the restaurant I didn’t know existed. Again, no my favorite part of the restaurant. Clearly I just like the restaurant part where the bar is so now I know where I’ll request to sit next time. I guess I’m a little high maintenance when it comes to my seating area. Food is good and they are accommodating to me as I asked to swap out fish for meat and they change it with no issues at all. We go here when we are in the Rhode Island area and I would definitely go again.
