Ate at Luigis for the first time and everything was excellent. The food d was fresh and tasty. The ambiance was relaxed and comfortable. And the service was attentive and knowledgeable. I had the chicken masala dinner and it was tasty and abundant in size. The salad was normal for an entrée. The bread was served warm with oil and spices. All in all a good place. I gave 4 stars because it was my first time there. If it’s as good a second time I would give it a 5.

I’ve been coming here for 23 years. The chicken alfredo pizza is consistently outstanding. It is a white pizza that has alfredo chicken and broccoli. It is very filling, definitely not healthy, and I wouldn’t want to know the calorie count. But that being said it is still awesome.

Luigis is our go-to italian take out spot for years, and the square pies are hard to beat. Last night we did dishes. penne vodka with chicken, «tour of italy» and a few hot subs. Everything was just top notch. Great sauce, excellent bread, fresh pasta. Wow. Well done!

Their plain square pie is my pizza go to. I love it. Pretty decent delivery time. I also live to go dine in– the egg plant parm is perfection and I Love that it comes with a side salad for an appetizer. Very yummy! My only complaint is that their espresso machine has been«out of order» for years now. I like to enjoy a cappuccino after an Italian meal

Went here today with 2 co-workers. Had a square pie, half plain and half meatball and sausage. I always try plain when at a place for the first time. Plain was great! Thin and cooked perfect. The meatball sausage side was good as well. I am losing my taste for sausage on pizza over the years so maybe why just good rating. I deferred to my co-workers to order as they have been here many times. They have all sorts of pies. Wish I could do more work down that way to hit here some more!

Had the opportunity to enjoy Luigi’s again ~ pizza one night which was amazing. Pipping hot ~ the crust is crisp and delicious. The next night I enjoyed the homemade cheese tortellini. Instead of the marinara sauce I ask if the chef would make a carbonaro sauce ~ but without bacon. It was a beautiful smooth cream sauce with peas and large slices of sweet onion. Incredibly delicious!!! Three of us dined in house and all the dishes were served hot and remained hot to the bottom of our dishes. My compliments to the chef for a wonderful dinner!

Called in for delivery few times. it was really good pizza. Then descent pizza. The last couple of times the pizza was burned on the bottom, normally I would let it go and order again if it was a good place. But at their price point they should be better. If you command a top dollar for your pizza. You should deliver a top quality, right?

Luigi’s is where our family usually orders our pizza from on pizza nights. The large pizza is a sheet pizza and is more than enough three with leftovers the next day. I’m not sure if they have become too busy, switched ingredients, lost a pizza maker, or if my tastes have changed, but I feel their pizzas have become sloppy. We usually order take out and when I open the box I find patches that have no cheese or sauce. I used to order more frequently, but have cut back after the few most recent orders.

This place is awesome. My parents found this place one day and ordered chicken parm for me and I’ve been hooked ever since. The pasta always come with bread thats pretty good and a well cooked pasta. The portion sizes are great as well, as I can normally eat half for dinner and save the other half for work the next day. My sister normally gets the fettuccine Alfredo but that’s a little too heavy and creamy for me, as I can only eat a few bites. I will be going back here in the future.

I loved loved loved the Eggplant Parmesan that my mother in law got and the Sundried Ravioli that my husband got. I liked the gnocchi I got, but overall it was kind of boring, not bad, just not the right choice when there are so many more exciting options on the menu. Our waitress was really nice and great with our large group. I love that it’s BYOB, your bill is less and you get to drink exactly what you want with your meal. I definitely recommend this spot.

The best pizza! Tablecloths on the tables and very nice atmosphere. Don’t hesitate to go, you won’t be sorry. We totally go out of our way to dine there.

This could’ve been just a bad night, but my first time at Luigi’s was mediocre. I went with a friend to get some italian food, and was hoping for a nice atmosphere to talk. It surprised us that the second half of the restaurant, where all the two person tables were located, wasn’t available at 7 pm. We were instead taken to the larger group section and given a table for four. The décor was nice, but with the large groups of people, it wasn’t always easy to have a conversation at normal speaking levels. But I digress. I ordered the meat ravioli dish, and my friend ordered the chicken pasta. Both came out in reasonable times, and in large portions. Definitely a plus. However, I was a little disappointed with the raviolis. Although they give you a lot, each individual ravioli is so thin with the wrapping so thick, that it tasted like I was eating giant chunks of pasta and not the meaty ravioli I desired. My friend’s chicken pasta was pretty good. Overall service was nice, but it is a bit on the expensive side(for what you get). I’d personally rather go to Ninettes or Red Bank for my italian cravings, but wouldn’t be against trying Luigi’s again. I think this place would be worth it in a large group, but I wouldn’t advise it for a date or a casual two person dinner.

I’ve been eating their Chicken Parm for the past decade — best in Monmouth County. Excellent dish called«Chicken Luigi» as well, get it with Linguine!

Usually I can count on Luigi’s to deliver awesome food whether dining in or taking out. But the last two times I have been there, Thursday, April 7th and again today, April 22nd. the food was BURNT! On the 7th I dined in and I received burned bread to the table. The service was very slow and although the entrée was it’s usual wonderful, my glass was empty and I had nothing to drink for my entire meal. Today I ordered a pizza for pick up. It was burned! Hey! Luigi! Pick it up!

Their pizza is pretty good(note largest round pizza is actually ordered/considered«medium»?! Their«large» is a sheet pizza. The veggie roll with side of sauce is my favorite!!!

I used to attend BCC just cuz my parents expected me to go to college. Well, a pizza diversion was in order from time to time. Luigi’s is one of those pizza joints that embodies how a real Italian pizza should taste. Dude, I could only dream I am sinking my teeth into a slice right now.
