Been going for years, and overall have been very happy with AccuVision for my eye care. Of all my experiences, my last one was not my best. My lenses (they send the order elsewhere to be made) got messed up. Also, during my last visit, the guy did not explain my benefits/​insurance/​costs very well, but previously, they always had. While my last visit wasn’t the best, they still have been good to me over the years, and I’m willing to give them the chance to do better next time.

Lack of communication. One child will have to continue going there since they will not give you a prescription to take. The rest of us, will be going elsewhere. If you want repeated customers then you need to be able to communicate with them. To bad since we have been going there for a few years and 3 of us wear glasses…

So after my crappy experience trying to get them to release my FULL prescription, they totally messed up my glasses. The left eye was fine– and the right eye was totally wrong. Could see better without them. I feel this was intentional as the girl was angry that I wrote down the pupulary distance while she was «getting a manager» The doctor was there when I went to pick them up– but was «too busy to see me» so they made me wait another 2 weeks for a new appointment. Total BS. I will NEVER be going back– and they had best fix my glasses.

The individuals who work in the office are great! They are really good at picking out glasses that fit great and look good! The docs– that’s another story. DO NOT plan to buy any contacts or glasses elsewhere, they will not release your prescription. Even when you move across the country and have used your insurance’s once yearly eye exam and tell the doctor this ahead of time and they agree faxing your prescription would be no problem. Don’t go here unless you want to go here forever. Also, if online contact companies call to verify your prescription, they will say they have no record of you as a patient.
