Terrible service. Order through seemless and they messed up the order and basically yelled at me over the phone blaming seemless. Refused to deliver the correct item. I don’t care what the issue, you should take responsibility and make it right with the customer. Not yell at them and place them on hold three times. Never ordering from them again.

One of my favorite sushi spots. Always fast, fresh, and delicious. Price and service are ok, usually runs me about $ 40 for two of us.
I come here for lunch only, I would prefer something a little more upscale for dinner /​date, plenty of options between Babylon and Bayshore.

I have been going to Teriyaki Express since they opened in Lindenhurst. When I go to Long Island I always make it a point to stop in. The place is always clean and the Sushi is always fresh. They have a teriyaki sauce that no one else has. It is so different from other sauces I’ve tasted. The flavor is unreal. I’ve been to sushi joints from here to L.A. and I’ve never had a teriyaki sauce like this.

I had a nice experience at this place a few years ago and decided to have dinner hear with a friend recently. What a terrible idea that was. For one thing, the prices at this place rival Kotobuki of Aji 53, next the sushi took, without exaggeration, 30 minutes to make and we were the only ones in the place. Next the sushi had bones and not just a single piece or a specific roll but 2 of my 3 rolls, each with different fish, had tiny bones. And Finally, as we were eating we saw a cockroach walk across the table. Suffice to say, a terrible experience and my final one at that.

Sashimi and teriyaki dishes were average in quality. Prices were reasonable, maybe respective to quality?
I give them credit for keeping the place very clean and having nice beverages in the cooler.

The food is made to perfection and always excellent and fresh, I can’t rave more about the freshness of the seafood and cleanliness of the restaurant.
The staff of Sonia, Simon, Dale, and Young have all become friends of the family after frequenting the restaurant so much over the years.
If you are looking for excellent take out Sushi, or even a sit down lunch look no further. The food is amazing, and the staff is top notch.
A+ all around!

Ive been going here for about 6 – 7 years now, I’ve always loved their chicken teriyaki. The chicken and beef dishes are great. Price could be slightly cheaper but I keep going back so I guess its good enough.
The sushi is average, nothing special but not bad. I only get their sushi when I want to quickly take out and not dine in at a restaurant.
Staff is friendly, place always appears clean.

My boyfriend and I love Teriyaki Express. Not only is it a hop skip and jump away, but they’re so fast! I call the order in, get in the car, get there less than 3 minutes away, and my order is usually ready. I am always weary about take-​out sushi, but the quality here is fantastic. I highly recommend this place. A hidden gem in Lindenhurst.

The people working here were very nice. I asked for saki and though they do not serve that (negative) he had some of his own it seemed? The lunch special was good and fresh tasting however the portions were smaller than what I am used to and I know of other sushi places where I get more for my money. Good food, nice people. Maybe I will come back one day to give it a second chance =)

Very good sushi dishes. Some were very different and creative. The prices were quite good actually. The teriyaki dish contained only white meat and was flavorful and not just a bowl of soy sauce salt like some other places.
People we very friendly and helpful. I would classify it as ½ take out ½ dine in experience. You order at the counter, but they bring to your table.

This place is by far my favorite place to eat for lunch. I feel honored to be able to make the first review! It’s a small place, but extremly clean and well kept. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious (and most importantly fresh). The owner and the sushi chefs are respectful and are even pretty funny if you have the chance to talk to them.
If you’re ever in town to pick up fresh sushi, teryaki style food, or any Japanese style food, this is the place you want to go. It is highly recommended.
