Ordered steak and cheese burrito, taco salad and carne asada. The burrito had no cheese in it just cheese sauce on it. Taco salad was taco bell quality. Carne asada was a flavorless chew toy. Nothing authentic here, but the prices warranted it though. Over priced. I also ordered a watermelon Margarita that looked grenadine colored and tasted nothing like watermelon. More like a 7 – 11 slurpee. No regrets trying and supporting new restaurants but this will be the first and last for my family here. Very unpleasant and unconcerned waiter too. Margarita was $ 8.80 and an additional $ 1.75 for flavoring! Sour cream was an extra $ 1.25. Did not even warn us!

Nice place, very good food. We ordered the fresh quacamole, it was outstanding! Be warned, there were lots of jalapeños in it. I had the enchilada plate, 5 different fillings. Delicious. Boyfriend had 2 chilling relenos, he said they were a little oily but otherwise good. Bathrooms were very clean. We’ll be back!

Great food, great drinks, great service! Had fresh guacamole and enchilada mole poblano… recommend both. Margarita with salt was awesome as well.

My visit to this restaurant was average. Nice, clean restaurant & friendly staff but the food was not as good as I expected. I’m a salsa & chip addict and there’s was kind of… bland. Same with their other dishes, it doesn’t really compare to other mexican restaurants I’ve been too. They’re also on the expensive side in comparison as well so there’s nothing really special to say about this place. It’s not a bad place to eat, but also not good. There’s plenty of other, better choices.

Blah food. Way overpriced. Pass on this. They clearly are just trying to take advantage of the traveler.

Hands down one of the BEST Mexican restaurants I’ve been to. I’ve eaten there several times and each time has been great. Staff is friendly and service was awesome(Jose was super nice and a great waiter). The guacamole is out of this world — we had a party of 5 and it was plenty for all of us. I ordered the shrimp and steak fajita and the amount of food could have easily been for two! I took half home and had it the next day for dinner! And the taste? DELICIOUS! The shrimp was big and the steak was cooked perfect(not chewy like a lot of restaurants use in their fajitas) and it was seasoned just right w/lots of peppers and onions! My husband ordered the grande burrito and he said it was«fantastic.» We ordered sopapillos for dessert with vanilla ice cream and that sealed the deal for us! It was out of this world! One of the best desserts we’ve had hands down. At first we thought it was a little pricey; however, the amount of food you’re served and the deliciousness of the meals and dessert made it so worth it! All 5 of us said«we’ve found our new favorite place to eat!» I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal!!!

My wife and I went here last night. The service was good, though we felt a little rushed to order. When we needed a little more time, it seemed like our server disappeared for a long time. When our food came out, my wife raved about her spinach quesadilla, but my combination was rather lackluster. My quesadilla was alright and I was looking forward to my smashed potato enchilada but unfortunately the tortilla wasn’t cooked completely. The bean enchilada was nice but everything could have benefitted from sauce.

Great traditional Tex-Mex. Reliable fix for when you’re in the mood. At the end of a mini strip shopping center. Confusing Tequila menu.

Decent. Summary: overpriced nice service with standard, if boring, food in a very pleasing atmosphere There are better options. I went here for an early lunch on a Monday. The entry way was a little odd, didn’t quite have that restaurant feel, more like you were coming in some random back doors entrance. There was no one else here(they had just opened) and I was immediately seated. I was given chips and salsa to begin. The chips were nice and warm but the salsa needs a little bit of work. The cilantro was a nice touch but it just seemed to be lacking in flavor(I was getting over being sick, maybe that’s it?). I ordered a 2 chicken enchilada lunch special which came out so fast on such a scorching hot plate it could have only been microwaved. The tortilla for the enchilada supported this as it was somewhat chewy somewhat mushy. The chicken was decently seasoned but lacked any excitement. The retried beans — which I usually like at most places — were runny. The rice was good. The server was efficient and attentive. My favorite thing about the entire restaurant was the décor and atmosphere. It was very clean and had a fun, clearly new or recently refurbished, interior. But I go to a restaurant mainly for the food and this place just did not deliver enough to warrant a return visit.

Toro Bravo was not the type of restaurant I was expecting. Given its location in a tiny strip mall of sorts anchored by an Urban Barbecue at the other end of the parking lot I expected it to be more of a quick service place, bit it is a full sit-down restaurant and bar. The bar area is fairly large with several wide screen TVs, and the dining room is partitioned off with no TVs at all(although it’s possible to get a seat where you can still see them if you want.) They have a fairly extensive menu of Mexican fare, and fans of the nearby El Salto will not be disappointed. In fact, my wife is convinced the menu is identical to El Salto’s. They do start you off with a bowl of crispy chips and mildly spicy salsa. Maybe they’re owned by the same people? In any case, my wife is a fan of anyplace where she can get Chili Relleno, and she loved hers. Tender and filled with a huge amount of gooey cheese, she polished off her entire plate. I ordered the Chimichangas, and I was not so enamored. They were stuffed with meat, but very dry and they splashed only a tiny amount of sauce over them. I’m sure we’ll be back, but next time maybe I’ll just fill up on chips.

I’ve been here once, so far so good. I had the fish fajitas from the lunch menu and they were delicious. Super fresh. I’d definitely eat here again. I ordered my food to go so I didn’t get to taste the chips and salsa.

Ate lunch here on the way to DC, happy we chose this place. Great house salsa and bottomless chips. Very good guacamole and well portioned. Strong drinks that are well priced. But the kicker for me was the bathroom, particularly the quality of the hand soap, simply outstanding. My hands have never felt better! :Hat Tip: Thanks for the hospitality Toro Bravo!

Awesome atmosphere! Very tasty food! They even offer lunch specials on Saturday until 2:30p. I had the Lunch beef fajitas w/beans, guac, salad, & sour cream. It comes with 2 flour tortillas, but I received enough beef steak for 4 fajitas. My Companion had the Grilled fish tacos and he too said they are very good. There were 3 tacos and they were full of fish along w/rice & beans. We’ll definitely be back!!!

This place is incredible. The food was amazing. A picky co worker of mine actually said«wow that was excellent». I had the fish fajitas. They were amazing. The food here is so good you will wonder if you’re in Lithicum or Mexico. Back again. Food and service still excellent. Update. After this place being opened a while service has come down. Very bad service. Food is ok.

It is nice to get a Mexican restaurant near the Airport. The food is not«authentic» as they state, it is a great place to dash to for a quick drink and some chips. THe chips are 6⁄10 and the salsa is a 4⁄10. The salsa almost tastes like it came out of a can. I have a burrito that was more shell and rice than meat and flavor. But, they do have a great drink menu so all is not bad.

Went here last weekend for first time. You must get their guacamole! It’s served in a HUGE bowl, and made fresh for each order. You can watch the waiter/waitress make it at a little guac station towards the kitchen. I watched the waitress cut fresh avocados, onions, herbs, everything. Also tried a chicken burrito, which was mediocre. But honestly this guac earned 4 – 5 stars on its own! Also great service and really attentive nice waiters/waitresses.

Bottom Line: Satisfies my weekday hankering for casual Mexican food. Toro Bravo is a very welcome addition to Linthicum Heights and particularly the weekday lunch scene. The restaurant is new, clean and festive and located in a small strip shopping center with plenty of parking. Although a new restaurant, the staff seems well trained. Toro Bravo has a very long menu so whatever you are craving, its probably on the menu. Also, I like that they have lunch specials. You can get a whole plate of food for about $ 9. Of course each meal immediately starts with chips and salsa. As for the food, I thought it was good for the Maryland area but admittedly my San Diego roots have me a bit spoiled. The restaurant has a bar on one side and a dining room on the other side which I like because it helps cut down on noise. I do wish they had better silverware as what they are currently using is very flimsy and bends easily.

Service wasn’t the best at lunch with only 3 tables in the restaurant, but I had the steak & cheese burrito and really liked the flavor. I’m not normally a fan of beans, but thought they were very tasty and not over salted. I’d definitely like to try here again since the Annapolis location has such great reviews.
