Nice quaint little bookstore, but frankly, they don’t really even have that many books. The sci-fi/fantasy section in my bedroom is bigger than theirs. Staff is friendly though, and prices are average.

Such a great little bookstore! Their classic sections is really great and they have fabulous prices! I purchased Poe’s complete works for $ 8.00 and love that they have outofprintbooks merchandise for sale. Employees are always chatty, helpful and friendly!

Very cute, quaint store! I was looking for a gift for hubs, and found the Alice in Wonderland disappearing Cheshire Cat mug. I was lucky and nabbed the last one! The owners are really nice, and they had a great selection of books! I would definitely pop back in if I’m in town!

I love this place. Owned by a wonderful couple that even have ‘Grammy’ and grandpa working there as well. Everyone has been nothing but super welcoming, nice and helpful. It’s a nice feature in America’s Coolest Small Town, and love supporting the local community and local shops. Like the previous person said they have lots of local interest books from Amish authors to Pennsylvania information. And they support local authors as well. I know that on a Second Friday, they will be hosting local up and coming authors. They have different ‘book clubs’ that are just now taking off. it is posted on their board in the shop. they do ‘cozy mysteries’ and ‘food for thought’ subjects. They have neat book inspired artistic shirts… lots of speciality interest. Yes, they do not have ALOT of selection. It is just one shop nestled in on the main street. BUt i am sure that if people expressed their interest, they could pull in books to match. I found two great amish books there. And am looking fwd to reading my amish inspired ‘cozy mystery’ book. I know that one of the cozy authors was just there this past month to discuss her book. I make it a point ot always stop in. and if you love books, the family(and workers) always have great insight into various subjects and authors.

I found this place through the Indie Bound website, closest one to me that was open on a Sunday. Had nothing else to do, so thought I would check it out. Turned out to not only be a good bookstore, but a good used bookstore. They had a decent selection of new titles, especially some stuff you wouldn’t necessarily at a big book retailer. They had a bookcase dedicated to local authors, with about half of the books being signed by the author. I thought it was a nice touch. My only gripe about this place is the selection of used titles. I know that they can only sell what people bring in, or else it wouldn’t be a used bookstore. Also the sections need to be marked just a little better, I thought I was looking in popular titles and then BAM, sultry romance novels. Ok, obviously those are two very stupid things to complain about, but overall it’s a good place to go, I’m definitely going to be heading back there, it’s more than worth the drive.
