I have been here on several occasions with my fiancé to grab a quick bite to eat. They do a limited menu of breakfast and lunch items as well as a small preferred foods section. They have probably one of the cleanest buildings you will ever find(part of it being that it’s relatively new). It’s a very neat looking barn design with the top floor being for banquet halls and the bottom floor being the bakery and deli. Every time I come here I always want to purchase so much! It all looks so delicious! I love pickled vegetables(which they sell here) and they have a ton of really amazing looking prepared foods(pig in a blanket, chicken salad, pasta salad, etc). We typically end up splitting something off the menu and a smoothie. Everything is made fresh and there really isn’t a wrong choice for getting something to eat. Last time we visited we split a mango smoothie, pig in a blanket, and a chocolate croissant. Never a bad choice to come here. Prices are very affordable and for fresh food it’s not a bad deal. Only problem is I always want to get way more than I can eat. Guess I’ll just have to keep coming back.

Very pleasant experience! Customer service was friendly without being overbearing or pushy. The barista was spot on with my java. I tried the seasonal treat, Coconut Latte– very delicious. Nice surroundings as well — very clean & crisp!

I have yet to dine in, but Zigs has become at least a weekly stop of mine for the cold brew coffee — it’s amazing!!! I also grabbed the frozen kickin cowboy chili to go and it was fantastic. So thankful that this gem is in Lititz!

Purchased flourless chocolate cake and blueberry buckle(basically coffee cake) from the Central Market stand. Prices were very reasonable and the baked goods were excellent — cake was dense(in a good way) moist and rich without being too sweet. Buckle held up to Friday purchase with Sunday serving without tasting stale. This will be my first stop at market in future!

I was here on the Friday night of their grand opening and although it wasn’t my first experience buying food from Zigs it is my first experience at their new location. I was thoroughly impressed with the décor and food. The experience takes place in a 100+ year old restored barn that was recently remodeled with no expenses were spared, the place is absolutely gorgeous and I love the tables and the barn wood skirting around the ordering and pickup areas. The food was excellent, I ordered the curried chicken salad and the lettuce looked like it was just picked from the garden, it was that fresh. Next time I’m going to get the curried chicken salad on two slices of their homemade focaccia bread! If your after quality food and authentic flavors and a place that has the ambiance and décor found in no other restaurant/deli in the Lititz/Lancaster area then please do yourself a favor and visit Zigs!

Charming place but I was grossed out by the flies crawling all over the counters and unwrapped bakery items. No scones for me thank you very much!

What an upgrade from the little store on their farm. The new building is beautiful and the prices are fair. I can’t imagine why anyone would complain. This is a great location and I wish them the best of luck. We went inside, did not get anything, I eat fruit, vegetables, nuts, and that’s really about it, so I need a super special occasion to get baked goods. I will go back at some point.

Already having plans to go on a walk with my sister and her 2 twins, I decided to manipulate the route so that our ultimate destination would be Zigs. So we headed out from Crosswinds, stopped by Plum street to pick up grandma, and continued to walk out the trail in pursuit of some dinner. I had heard about this place a few times just before heading their myself. The most recent heads up was from my aunt who had told me that morning she was going to try them for breakfast. By the time we had already left, she finally got back to me saying the building was nice, but they aren’t quite ready for business yet. Sure they were open, but they still had a lot of kinks to work out before the grand opening in May(2015); a bit understaffed and disorganized. This is mind, I am going to tailor my review accordingly. When we finally arrived, I had to agree with my aunt; this is a very nice establishment. It’s very spacious, with a mix of country and elegance. The downstairs leads into the eatery, and the upstairs looks like it will be used for receptions. There is a lot of nice woodwork and I believe there is more to the complex than we explored. As far as a storefront, this place very much reminds me of Panera bread. They offer a variety of soups, salads, and sandwiches to be followed by an assortment of pastries and other dessert. Like Panera, all of the bread is made in-house so there is some great potential here for a stand alone bakery even. You have the option to dine in or take out, and they also state they cater. Overall the food was pretty good. We had sandwiches. They were stacked plenty full, though the plate did seem a little bare with no greens or chips being offered. But you do get a pickle and it’s a good one. Honorable mentions would be the smoothies and the soup(which was so good we took some home with us), but this place has a long way to go in terms of a restaurant. I see a lot of great potential residing here and plan to revisit once they’ve had some time to stabilize. Until then…
