This was our second time dining at this Longhorn location. The 1st time was in November of 2015 and our second dining experience was Saturday the 12th of March 2016. Our 1st time, I failed to review and it was a really good experience. We met our son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren for lunch. The seating was prompt, the service was sporadic. It started off good and ended so-so, however, our food was excellent. Our 2nd dining experience was this past Saturday as previously stated. We waited at an unattended hostess station for a solid 5 minutes. When the 1st hostess did show up she was abrupt, asked how many, shoved a beeper at us and stated our wait would be 5 to 10 minutes, not too bad, so we took a seat to wait. We over heard a group waiting before us asking each other, «were you given a beeper?» I think they may have been waiting a while. About 10 minutes later we were seated by another hostess. We waited, we waited, we waited, finally a waitress, walking quickly by us, announced«I be with y’all in a minute.» Well that minute never came… the hostess that seated us finally showed back up to take our drink orders. Another waitress and the hostess took over our table since the 1st waitress had no intention of being with us in a minute. Now, with all of that being said, I’m glad that waitress never got back to us because the sweet hostess and other waitress took really good care of us. What we thought might be a «lunch gone bad» turned into a really nice lunch with our family. The food was excellent again. I ordered grilled chicken with artichoke hearts and a side of roasted carrots. Hands down some of the best carrots I’ve had in a restaurant. My family all enjoyed their food as well. Again, our new waitress and hostess were very attentive so I’m giving them 4 stars. I hope, however, that management reads this and makes needed changes to correct what could have lead to us never coming back. Everyone has a bad day, I think they were very much understaffed. Not a customers concern, so up to management to correct.

Love the Porterhouse for two. Perfect thickness for me. And always cooked the way I requested.

The staff is amazing and service was spectacular. The white cheddar & bacon dip was so tasty and I loved the spicy peppers in the wild west shrimp. I was really happy with how fresh the ingredients were in my salad. My husband got the blue ridge wedge salad which was loaded with blue cheese and topped generously with bacon! Ordering a non-steak entrée at a steak joint can be risky, but the salmon was flavorful and delicious. If you love chocolate, try the Chocolate Stampede.

Was pretty good! My steak was not cooked properly but they were happy to fix it and make it right and admit that it was very overcooked! By the time they replaced my overdone steak with the correct one I was so stuffed from bread and sides I couldn’t take more than a couple of bites. But overall the food was great and the steak was to! I would return and give it another go! I was really looking forward to desert but I clearly had no room! So next time I shall order desert first! I mean come on people, ya only live once!

First time to try Longhorn. Will not be the last. Excellent atmosphere, courteous staff and food was really good. Blue cheese dressing was home made and delicious. Steak was perfectly cooked. Could find nothing to give a negative rating.

Restaurants should do things better that n we can at home, right? Not in this case. I have had access to a grill at a nearby extended stay, and I have taken advantage of it about 7 times. I thought I would give myself a break from cooking myself. So I stopped at a nearby steakhouse and ordered their best steak. First try, it came overcooked, as even the server attested to. Second try it came cooked to perfection. Or so I thought. This must have been the most blandest tasting steak that Ive ever experienced. For the rest of my stay, I will be purchasing and cooking my own New York Strip, Ribeye, Filet Mignon, and Tritip and cooking them the way I like them… tasty! The two times that I have been here, once the service was overdone(the server checked in TOO many times and interrupted conversations with the unneeded«how are we doing» and«are we doing okay»). The 2nd time the service was perfect. So, hit and miss there.

I know 4 stars seems a little high for a chain restaurant owned by the same company that owns Olive Garden but hear me out. Of course I always recommend going to a local place, ethnic restaurant, or something unique over a chain. But if you are wanting steak and want something consistently good or have your parents with you, this is a good spot. The service is friendly and always quick with the food, even takeout. The prices are decent for everything including the steaks. I’ve had all of the appetizers and all are probably pretty bad for you but tasty. The chili cheese fries, stuffed mushrooms, spicy shrimp, chicken wraps, corn bites, etc are all really good. The cheese oozes out of the mushrooms, the dips pair well, and so forth. For meals they have good steaks with good sauces, as well as lots of other options that are cooked well like the chicken fingers. The place doesn’t blow me away but they have yet to mess anything up and that is good enough for me.

We stopped here for lunch and were seated immediately. Our server came right over and took our drink order and made great recommendations for appetizers and meals. We ordered the chili fries and Parmesan asparagus as our appetizers. The asparagus was the die for and my stepson loved the chili fries. For dinner I ordered the 11 ounce filet with blue cheese crust and a side of sautéed asparagus, my mom has been ordered the ribeye with a loaded baked potato, and my stepson had the kids grilled cheese with fruit. Best steaks came out at the perfect temperature and were absolutely delicious. We love the fact that my sons meal came out before ours as he was very hungry and was a bit impatient. This restaurant is a bit pricey but completely worth it when you want a treat.

Came here for a business lunch. Very, very friendly wait staff, and the dining room was absolutely spotless. Lunch was very good, and I will eat here or at another LongHorn again soon.

I usually don’t rate chain restaurants but I was very impressed with Longhorn. I have ate here twice and had the same thing. The flat iron steak is a very good steak which has been marinated. The server recommended to have it cooked medium to medium well and it was just perfect — Real juicy, meaty and tender. I coupled it with a sweet potato and Longhorn ’ s sweet potatoes come with butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. They piled it on too and all that was needed were some marshmallows or some kind of crunch to make it a perfect soufflé for Thanksgiving. What I truly enjoy about Longhorn though is the tableside steaksauce! Oh my… I would be happy ordering just it and dipping the bread in it. They bring it in a ceramic pot with a heated steel thing in the bottom with rosemary, garlic and onion, sarachia if you like and the traditional steak sauce. It is amazing! Even though I leave off the orange because I can’t stand oranges. My waiter was very attentive and had some fun with me as I wore a Saints hat and he was a Seahawks fan. Sweet tea has been perfect everytime I have been there. The only problem I had was when I walked in there was no hostess but didn’t wait long before I was seated. I went at lunch because there is always a wait at night. If you are looking for a good steak, sweet potato, and amazing steak sauce… go check out Longhorn.

The food was truly amazing. It was the best birthday celebration I could have asked for. Our server Kendra was amazing! She took care of everything. The ribeye was great. The asparagus appetizer was well done. The entire family had a wonderful time at Longhorn Steakhouse. And again, thanks Kendra!

Great décor. Soft lighting and clean place. We were there around 7pm on a Monday. It wasn’t overly busy. The«greet & seat» staff were not unfriendly but not«all smiles» either. Our waitress was nice and friendly and accommodating on explanations of what was good. We ordered an appetizer of lobster and shrimp dip with chips which was delicious. Our side dishes were fine(baked potato and macaroni). The salads were fine as well. Our steaks were ribeye and T-bone. Both seemed thin for the kind of steak they were. They were cooked in the manner we asked, but the T-bone was not the best cut of meat and was chewy. The meal was very nice except for one thing, that for the life of me I can’t understand, why a lot of restaurants now are putting spicy season salt(and a lot of it) on a good steak? It was to the point of excessive. I understand some people like spicy food, but some people cannot eat it without it causing intense heartburn or other stomach issues and if there is not an explanation provided on the menu that they use spicy season salt, then it ruins the meal for some of us. We did speak to the manager about it, who agreed that the kitchen did«salt liberally» and she offered to grill us another steak, but we had already eaten half of it and declined saying it was ok, but thanked her. If you go there and don’t like a lot of season salt, or spicy seasoning, mention it when you order.

The atmosphere and quality of the food here is amazing. You really get great value for the quality of steak, drinks and service. My partner and I couldn’t get over how great the service was and the taste of their steaks. It is on the pricey side, but we were completely satisfied and cannot wait to go back.

We have eaten here at least twice since May. My husband and I are from out of town and traveled here to UAMS for cancer treatment. He is gravely ill and it is really hard to keep him fed well. One of his biggest problems — besides bad hospital food is a lack of red meat in his diet. When we came in May we had the flat-iron steak. It was awesome. So I decided the other day — we need to eat here at least once a week. I called in a to-go order for the Porterhouse. They knew what time I was coming and since I wanted it medium rare they took it off the grill with the thought that it would continue to cook until I got to my destination. Not knowing where I was coming from they just figured 10 minutes. It was to die for. There was not enough left to gnaw off the bone. Plus they packed up warm bread, salad had the dressing on the side. It was perfect. It could only have been better if we could have eaten it in the restaurant! Also their porterhouse is a 20oz steak for $ 25.99 — which is 4 ounces more and alot cheaper than the other steakhouses in the city. It allows us to share a meal –because as good as it is — it really was enough for the two of us. I will probably get a steak from here at least once a week until we leave to return home.

I really really really want to rate LongHorn higher. The food is very good and the prices aren’t too bad. What unfortunately brings my review down is the service speed. Purely the service speed. I have now been to here on three separate occasions and it has not improved. On one of my trips I ordered a bottled beer when we were asked for drinks and it arrived after my steak. I tried to order a second beer but it never showed up at my table. This experience has been repeated every time I’ve ate here. For me and my wife to eat it has taken us on average 1.5 hours from the time we sat down. I don’t mind a long dinner but when service is so abysmal that I can’t even get a beer in a bottle in a reasonable amount of time you have to wonder…

I have been to this restaurant a few times and the staff have always been average. The food is great in my mind. I like my steak rare so it’s pretty easy to do. My last visit was the best visit. my two year old child was with us. Staff provided a coloring book and crayons. I was impressed with my dinner as well; my small rare filet was seasoned perfectly and the mack n cheese was hot when I received it.

2.5 stars. It’s certainly not a BAD place, but I just didn’t find anything to «wow» me. I went for lunch and was startled by the décor upon arrival – it looks like a cattle ranch exploded inside. It reminded me of the cowboy version of Outback Steakhouse – it had a very chainish feel to it. We arrived as they opened and were immediately seated by the bar tender, who took our order. After that we had a ton of people come by our table, so I can’t say service is lacking, although i wasn’t real clear on who our waiter was. The food was just okay. The salad was decent – chicken and strawberries. Nothing I would rave about. And my soup was good, but honestly my favorite thing was the cheesy chips they brought with my soup(strange addition?) portions were pretty big – my soup and salad didn’t feel«light» at all. It’s not a place I will deliberately go back to, but if a friend wanted to meet there I wouldn’t say no.

Ambiance great! Place to small.. Doesn’t accommodate seating for over 10. not at the same table.. Call ahead seating is a joke. We used that and still had a hour wait… people who did not utilize that service came in after us qnd got seated faster. .wild west Shrimp! Is perfect!
