The food was really good and fresh. The service was good as well. The atmosphere was authentic for the Cajun feel. The deserts looked amazing, but I was way to full from my wonderful dinner. I highly recommend going there anytime you have a chance!

Love the Blackened fish and the Loaded Mac and Cheese is absolutely the best. Like it so much my soon to be husband proposed there! They made it very special with Champagne cheesecake etc.

If you are in a party of more than 10 expect poor service. Party was here prior to our requested 6:30pm seating and we were not seated until 9pm. Plenty of times to seat us other than the section they were planning to. I understand it’s a Saturday night with a no reservation policy but the overall management of the situation was sloppy. One meal was also never delivered. The food received was not bad at all. The server was very friendly. The bartender had a bit of snappy comments to us while we waited for over 2 hours. I think the obit thing worthy of a 2 star review is friendly server and decent food quality.

Well they were very short on servers today. We got there at 1 pm and they moved us to a table at 130. Then they forgot about us for 15 more minutes. It was all in slow motion. Our food came but not the salad. It came later. The food was. Good but service was bad. They were not packed either. We left at 245.

This place is not bad. New Orleans style dishes. Reminds me of Cheese Cake Factory in Los Angeles. Decently priced. Knowledgeable staff.

Not impressed for the price. Nice atmosphere, nice waitress. I order crawfish etouffe, wife had gumbo. Mine was dry and bland. Her gumbo was small portion and ok. Rice not cooked all the way.

4 stars because the étouffée is just not consistent. Been to this same exact copeland’s a number of times for work travel, and the quality of the dish seems to fluctuate. For a copeland’s restaurant, the«Nola» dishes just seem to be missing that true Cajun kick. However, they make up for it with their white chocolate cheesecake. Haven’t had a bad one yet.

Decent food. Mediocre service. Everything was slow! The steak was tasty, but our other food cooled off too quickly. The stuffed shrimp and stuffed catfish«small plates» were the highlight of the meal.(Our waiter would get one star from me.)

I want to like Copeland’s. I really do. But having eaten there several times, I’ve yet to enjoy it. The food is pretty good, but on every visit, it’s taken forever to get seated and get served. And while I’ve never turned my nose up at anything set before there, there’s nothing extraordinary about the dishes I’ve tried that would make me want to pay the expensive prices for them again. If you want sides, like a salad, you’ll have to pay extra, too. Just not what I look for in a great restaurant.

The first time I went to Copeland’s, my sister and I tried a couple of their small plates and found them very tasteful. Early this year I went again for my brother’s birthday. I ordered pasta, I believe it was a shrimp pasta(with angel hair, my favorite), for my entrée and liked it, but wasn’t too impressed with it. The atmosphere is very mature with a dark tone throughout the restaurant. I heard the cheesecake is good, but never took the time out to try it. The food is good, but it isn’t good enough to make me crave for Copeland’s. I’m just glad I had decent experiences during both visits.

1st time to dine here. Sandra B. was my waitress and she was the best. Very friendly and attentive. I had the Corn & Crab Bisque it was heaven on a spoon. The Chicken & Eggplant Parmesan was amazing. Prices are very reasonable. Atmosphere is very pleasant. Portions are more than adequate. Perfect dining experience.

Copelands is usually one of our go-to locations for great food. As long as you aren’t going on a special holiday, the wait usually isn’t terribly long. Their Cajun jumbalaya is amazing, and you can’t leave without trying a cheesecake! Prices are slightly high for the location, but the food is definitely worth every penny. A great restaurant with great service. I highly recommend it!

Slowest service ever. After waiting 40 mins we walked out made eggs at home. So bummed on a Wednesday night the kitchen could not get a simple catfish and a salad out quicker…

We went to Copeland’s in Little Rock to celebrate my 21st birthday. It’s a little over 2 hours from where I live so it had to be a special occasion to make the trip. We had eaten at Copeland’s once before and it was amazing so we had high expectations. Well. I guess it’s my fault for building it up so much. There’s about a 30 minute wait to start with but okay, we’ll deal… then once we get seated it’s about another 10 minutes before our server ever comes by!!! Luckily he was very friendly so that didn’t end up being a big problem. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip with fried bowtie pasta for appetizer and oh my gosh… it was amazing!!! We ate it so fast that I was honestly full by the time our food came out! I ordered crab stuffed shrimp with alfredo noodles. It was okay but I didn’t force myself to eat it. I boxed it up to take home. On to the drinks! For as long as I can remember I wanted my first drink to be an appletini so that’s what I ordered. The waiter knew we were celebrating my 21st and warned that it’s a little strong so he offered to tone it down a bit which I appreciated. It was very good and sour! I especially liked the apple slice! Overall it was a very good experience I just wish it were closer!

I give two stars because we tried this location twice. The first time was in the late evening, and better than the visit this afternoon. The first time around, the biscuits were light, fluffy, soft as clouds, and buttery. My crawfish pasta was al dente with a nice amount of crawfish and piping hot. The only issue was the lack of flavor. Cajun food is bursting with flavor and my food was very close to the bland side of things. Babe’s étouffée pasta was mediocre with an extreme lack of sauce, and what he did have was too thin to be considered a roux. He was thankful he swapped the rice for pasta because the rice would’ve absorbed all of the sauce. But the biscuits more than made up for both issues and some salt in my food went a long way. The delicious biscuits bought us in for a second visit. I had the same a babe had catfish. I knew that the shift would likely be different from the first visit but you never know. I was hoping for consistency. Well that did not happen. Not even close. It was like a completely different Copeland’s location. First issue, the owner of this location doesn’t order Copeland’s to-go bags, they use discount dollar store«thank you» plastic bags. Big problem because the take away containers are huge, heavy, and sharp edged. We had four containers to go and the girl jammed them all in one cheap ‘thank you’ bag that almost ripped completely on the way to the car. This happened both visits. All other locations we have been to have the thick, durable, black to go bags with the Copeland’s logo. Second problem, disappointingly, the biscuits were now, crunchy scones. Such a waste. Third, My food was lukewarm and … ICECOLDINTHEMIDDLE.(Found that out the hard way) Fourth, the catfish was also lukewarm and bland. Fifth, A small side of rice and ‘bean paste’ was cross contaminated with meat products. Hoping not to get food poisoning. Will not go back, will just wait until we visit Louisiana. One star for each visit. Dine at your own risk if you must.

It is to Cajun food what Olive Garden is to Italian food. Not authentic enough. The jambalaya pasta is just average. The shrimp Po boy was edible, but under seasoned. If you want true New Orleans Cajun go elsewhere… like The Faded Rose Restaurant. best Cajun in Little Rock

Copeland’s is one of the few chains that offers better than average food. This location is no different than the ones you’ll find in Louisiana. And, in Little Rock, you might have a tough time finding better Cajun food than you can get here. For what you order(and I’m only speaking of the Cajun dishes, not the steaks, etc) the food is priced fair, tastes a bit better than fair and is bound to fill you up. Portions are generous. The service at this location is average. Fortunately, there’s a few meals that bring me back from time to time. My personal favorite is the blackened red fish. They give you a large fillet and with the mashed sweet potatoes and vegetables it’s a dish that should be put on the short list. I’ve also had the blackened catfish which is very good and extremely affordable and the crawfish étouffée, which won’t disappoint and will fill you up. A dinner at Copeland’s is ideal for a special occasion, date, party of even when to buddies are hungry. They’ll consistently deliver better than average Cajun at an affordable price.

We decided to try this restaurant for dinner tonight. It is a nice sized place and it has an intimate feel with the low lighting and candles on the tables. It wasn’t very busy so we were seated right away and our orders came out in about the right time. I tried the crawfish po’boy(sorry no ‘gator po’boys on the menu!) with mashed sweet potatoes(instead of fries). The sandwich was larger than I had expected but both items were good. For dessert, I tried the cookies and cream cheese cake — not bad but the chocolate sauce was little bit too much for me. I think that I received a fair amount of food for the price(I’m stuffed & I didn’t finish my cheese cake!) and the customer service was decent enough to go back.
