Limited menu, but pretty standard bar food. Very comfortable relaxed friendly atmosphere. Variety of live music, but the regular band had a child lead singer which is cute, but not great and only a limited selection of songs so they will repeat songs rather quickly and is is odd have a kid in braces shouting out to a drinking audience at midnight and soliciting tips. Fun place overall.

Don’t let its off-the-beaten-path location fool you — this is one of the best low-key bars in Little Rock! Awesome drink selection, local beers, a variety of Jell-O shots(including HABANERO!), live music most of the week(always with NOCOVER!), super friendly owners and staff, dog-friendly patio — this place has got it all! Plus you just gotta love the clever name! You must go to here!

Out-of-towner here from Dallas. Found this place tucked away in a little shopping center. Needed out of the house during the holidays and this place was great. Locally owned, friendly staff, and good selection of food and drinks. Jell-O shot specials(uh, habeñero!), Happy hour from 3 – 7, local craft brew on tap, dog friendly, and live music just about every night. If I lived in town, I would be a regular.

A great local place run by great people. We love hanging out on the patio with our pooch and having beers and great food. The catfish plate is one of our faves and my personal favorite is the patty melt. Yummy perfection! The home made bread pudding and key lime pie are to die for. Go hungry and thirsty! If you are looking for fancy eats, prissy drinks and an upscale feel, then this isn’t the place for you. If you like great live music, great food, beer and drinks in a laid back atmosphere, then come join us for a 3 hour tour. We’ll be on the patio with our big hairy beast, at least until it gets too cold-then you’ll find us at the bar without the pooch.

I ordered a Stella and the bartender didn’t even full the glass to the rim. She was very dismissive too. Not very friendly or welcoming.

This restaurant leaves much to be desired in my opinion. I really found nothing unique, exciting, or even flavorful here. Unfortunately so; as I like to support new and local businesses. I went on a week night with my husband and an out-of-town friend. It was steady, yet not busy. Our server had little personality, and genuinely seemed to not enjoy his job. We still tipped appropriately, however. I will say, the menu is large and filled with options. They also have varying daily specials. I tried the chicken strip basket… definitely frozen chicken strips from a package. Kind of rubbery and not good. My husband’s turkey burger was better, yet nothing to write home about. My friend had fish and chips that she thought was just so-so. A plus was the music. However, in the middle of a highly, emotional song, an employee came on stage and cut off the music, interrupting the soulful singer– much to the chants and dismay of the crowd. Literally, customers were mentioning how rude it was. Sad to say, Thirst N’ Howl was a bust for us.

Found this place while on a road trip through Little Rock. We went during lunch hours. I am a burger fanatic and this was fabulous! Great seasoning, served exactly how I asked for it. Also, the girl who waited on us was exactly how you want… perfectly attentive but not overly so. So sorry we aren’t there for the live music!
