I absolutely loved the décor of this place everything was beautifully decorated. Unfortunately service was slow, so much that when we came in a couple had walked away from their table and asked the hostess to please print the bill. Our server sat at the table next to us and talked to the busboy whenever we were ready for our bill. The food was no better than the service the tortilla chips and salsa tasted store bought and HEB makes a better flour tortilla than these guys. We had to add salt to everything because it lacked flavor, so needless to say the overall experience wasn’t that great.

Service was ok, we dined in for lunch and were seated right away. Food over all is over priced. Not for the quantity, but for the quality. It wasn’t horrible, just nothing real special about it. We had an enchilada and a flauta plate. I didn’t try any drinks, but wouldn’t even come back to try them out, not even for just chips and salsa. Not impressed.

Great Mexican food and great drinks. The enchiladas are delicious and so are the margaritas. Great location and the staff were very attentive.

We wanted to try something close by but new. We came after 7PM on a Friday… so the wait was about 25 a 30 minutes. After waiting 15, they took a couple who walked in after us right away and told me we’d have to wait 10 more minutes. After I told them about their error they sat us next. I thought the night was going downhill from there, However — Nicha’s didn’t disappoint! Our server Tyranny was AWESOME! She was extremely attentive and didn’t forget anything we asked for. She recommended what we should and shouldn’t order. My husband’s beef fajitas were fork tender and my chicken enchiladas verdes were pretty good. The Margaritas = my happy place!!! All in all had a good night!

They have been open for a year but this was our first time here and definitely will not be our last. The wait wasn’t too bad(20 minutes) for a Friday evening. The salsa was very good. Our waitress was VERY friendly and personable and brought out samples of the green salsa and roasted salsa for us to try. We like the red sauce best but were impressed that she asked. The charro beans were very tasty with a nice cilantro flavor. The decried beans were clearly homemade and very good. The cheese enchiladas were very tasty as was the chalupa and taco I had. The fresh tortillas were very good — thick but not too thick — just right. I would have given 5 stars but it was quite noisy and is did take the food quite a while to come out. That said, our waitress, a manager and the owner(I think?) all checked on us regularly, made sure our water and soda were filled. Awesome!

This is a tex-mex restaurant you first walk in the host will seat you. The place is very clean and the waitress was nice and friendly, but she didn’t explained the menu unless you ask. I had the chicken flautas with rice, refried beans, guacamole, sour cream and flour tortillas. Caution my plate was extremely hot for at least 10 minutes. Flavor: Flautas were good rice was average and the same with the beans. The tortillas nice and fresh I also ordered a Strawberry Daiquiri and was delicious Overall the place is nice

I’m giving this place 3 stars as the food was good and pretty inside. A few pointers for management. Use less cheese on the nachos. It was way cheesy and you will save money. Tell the waiters to advise of daily specials. We realized after we ordered there were specials. It creates a better experience for customers and are more likely to return. Overall not bad. The hostess had nothing to do as we were leaving tonight at 7pm. She could have said have a good night or opened the door. The waiter was okay. If you want people to come in you have to focus on the customer service. There is too much competition around such as Chuys to miss any opportunity.

We liked the food here. I got enchiladas, the husband got a burrito and one of those fancy upside down beers in a margarita. They have nice decorations and a clean bathroom. I would eat here again.

Never even got to try the food because they skipped over us. Won’t be coming back here again. Enjoyed watching the manager seat his friends, that came in way after us, immediately.

Note: Nicha’s opened a new location that replaced a closed-down restaurant. The food and service here are great. Friendly people, relaxed atmosphere, good prices. I have had the crispy tacos and the beef nachos here, and both were excellent — to the point where I asked the waitress to compliment the cook. The nachos were laid out in an intelligent way that didn’t allow them to get soggy, which I greatly appreciated, and went really well with an(added) side of sour cream. Mild dectractors: The pico de gallo admittedly wasn’t the greatest, but the chips and salsa had a decent kick to it. The frozen strawberry margarita I ordered was a bit light on the salt rim, but quite good otherwise. Overall, I have rarely had food that was that memorable. And my girl and I ended up having a great meal that didn’t break my budget. Low prices and *excellent* quality means this place can get pretty crowded on a Friday/Saturday night, but it’s worth it. Definitely going back for more!

It started off okay with some decent salsa, but the chips went fast and our waiter never offered a refill. In fact, the only time he talked to us was to take our order and hand us the check. Lousy service. The food was not nearly worth half of what we paid for it, $ 12.99 for some stale chips and one piece of overcooked shrimp on each. And $ 10 for a taco salad which was basically all shredded lettuce and two grisly, strips of raw chicken. For that amount of money if at least expect a side of rice or beans. Terrible, tasteless food and crappy service.

Our first visit was really bad. Our waiter finally came to our table after we had been there for 10 minutes just to tell us he would be right back. He then proceeded to get the drink order of a large table that came in after us. We never even got chips. I got up, told the manager what had happened, and left. I returned a week later(I really like the food at the other locations and this is near my house). We were greeted by a very friendly hostess and our waitress greeted us very quickly. We got our drinks and food fast. The service was great and friendly. The food was great as always. I hope the second experience will be the norm at this location.

Things went better the second time around we were greeted by hostess that was very friendly and our server was Nice and fast. Food came out hot and fast, margaritas were cold, and chips salsa and quseo was great. We will be going back but with caution because the first time we went we had such a bad experience. We will see what happens

Well let’s just say it’s new, maybe it will get better. There was not enough waiting area, hostess was stand offish, Then Brandon or Brett our server, had us wondering if he was new to customer service and waiting tables as well. We got chips top layer good rest of basket crumbs, finally able to land our waiter to get another basket and the same thing five good chips the rest crumbs. We actually ordered another basket before we left just for grins and once again 5 or 6 good chips and a basket full of crumbs. The restaurant manager even walked by and he did not notice our empty glasses or broken chips either. Will say Sangria was great. Food was good I had the Machado(yes I enjoy breakfast for dinner) but nothing to really bring me back, Let’s just say nothing sets it apart from the thirty other Mexican restaurants along Pat Booker.

We have lived here 2 years and have yet to find«THE» favorite place for Mexican food. We are from North Texas and have a certain TexMex we are use to. The food at this place made us feel at home! My husband had a giant burrito and Ibjad an enchilada plate. Both were delicious, as was the queso. Can’t wait to go back and try the fajitas! I did take off a star because our waitress, although friendly, she was not very attentive. She didn’t bring our drinks until after our meal, she never refilled my drink, and she took forever to bring a ticket and it wasn’t very busy. I’ve been a waitress before and we have all had bad days ;) All in all great experience!

We tried everything from enchiladas to shrimp quesadillas and street tacos and flautas. All were delish including sides of borracho beans, refried beans, and rice. Tea, margaritas, modello especial on draft was ice cold. This location has only been open a short time but we had a great time. With great service from Jaime however it is Very loud in there. Seniors have trouble hearing. We will be back. Very glad to have reasonable Mexican food that’s good enough to go back to. Oh yes tortillas nice too!
