The first time I had fat burger was in the Harrah’s casino in Lake Tahoe. I thought it was delicious! Being Bay Area natives I was quite upset that Fatburger was unique to LA for the most part and scattered about around the world. When I had found out that there was one in Livermore I literally sprinted to the car drove 25 minutes from Castro Valley to Livermore and ordered my food! Totally worth the time and gas to get there!

I love me some Fatburger and Fatfries! Odd to see a Fatburger in a Chevron gas station but it’s just as good as a stand alone Burger joint. Plenty of seating inside. Well worth the stop. There’s usually a discount if get a full tank of gas too!

Came in with the family. Friendly service, food was cooked and prepared the way we ordered and served quickly. While a bit expensive, was worth it. Will be back again! For those who want to eat here, bring a big appetite or be sure to order the smaller burger.

Overprice burger joint My order large burger meal, no mustard or relish, added on bacon and eggs. Ask for medium rear and they only serve it medium. The taste of the patty was okay, patty very thin, my egg was over cooked and should have been sunny side up. For the price, way over price $ 16. 95 for a average burger joint

I’m so excited that there’s another local Fatburger restaurant! The veggie burgers & fries are awesome here, and the service is great too! Burgers can take a while to make, but it’s real food, and nothing is microwaved. It’s totally worth the wait! The place is so easy to find & it’s also in a great location so you can quickly grab a burger on your way over the hill on Vasco! So at least you don’t have to be starving & grumpy while you sit in traffic!

Super disappointing. Not up to usual fatburger standards, burger was dry and bun was stale. Plus they don’t even have a bathroom.

Not quite up to the locations in LA. Buns don’t seem as fresh. Got fat fries but not always hot. Ordered ahead and often still have to wait. OK for something different from In n Out.

This was probably my sixth or seventh visit here. I need to remember to check in more frequently wherever it is I go. I have to say that my rating is an overall rating and not specifically for this visit. Service is always decent here although the wait to order can be delayed not by staff, but by other customers not knowing what they want. The burger that I got this time was probably my least favorite. I’m not sure if it was because I got a large instead of a medium or if the cook simply pressed down too hard on the patty and pushed all the juice out of it. Yes, it was a bit dry. But that has never happened before so I’m willing to write it off as a one-time fluke. I usually get a medium with«the works». I have ordered it with a fried egg but it was overcooked for my liking. If I get a fried egg, I want a runny yolk that will ooze over the entire burger. Yes, messy but oh, so good! The skinny fries are pretty good when hot, not so much when they cool down. Simple solution? Eat the fries first! I’m doing my best to cut down on soda so I usually bring a water bottle and ask them to fill it with ice for me. They are smart the way that they do that. They fill a cup so I can pour it into my water bottle. That way, their ice scoop can’t get contaminated from my water bottle. I cringe when I see other restaurants scoop ice straight into my bottle.

After waiting for my girl’s car to get new breaks put in we were both starved. I clicked«nearby» on Unilocal… Fatburger 0.3 miles away oh yeah! We hopped in the car and right around the corner was Chevron(you’re destination is on the right), pondered we drove into what we thought was merely a gas station when in fact there was definitely a Fat Burger and a taco spot along the lines of Chipotle inside the mini market. We almost turned around, both finding the idea of a Fat Burger inside of a gas station mini market slightly undesirable, reluctant and starved we went in. Greeted by to workers we started our order. For me a medium(1⁄3 lb) fat burger with cheese, fat fries and a Coke with extra ice to wash it down. For the lady a XXL(1 lb), skinny fries, and a Dr. Pibb. I was so hungry while we waited I ordered a taco from Cilantro the taco place also in the mini mart. As we waited we noticed how clean and well taken care of the restaurants and the overall interior of the whole Mart was. Our food didn’t take long and was piping hot when they brought it out. We grabbed some ketchup and ranch and went to town. My burger was cooked to medium well protection, I love the combination of mustard, onions, relish and cheese on a FATBURGER, they know how to dress a burger. The fries were crisp on the outside and delicate and fluffy on the inside. Thank you to the Frying God’s because I love Frenchies. My lady’s burger was ginormous! I didn’t think she’d finish it but she did. The manager even checked in with us to see if everything was to our liking. That’s what I call service. Great Food. Great Service. Don’t let the mini mart fool ya!

A big mistake. This place is nothing like the Fat Burger that use to be in Concord or the one in LA. THis one is in the Chevron gas station. The guys behind the counter were nice. But the food was subpar.

Stopped by at Fatburger on the way back from Tahoe. It is located inside the Chevron Gas station next to Livermore Toyota. Greg took my order and was professional, friendly, and helpful. I placed an order for: –Large Fatburger with cheese and grilled onions. –Veggie Burger –Kids hot dog –2 Kids burgers –Fries –Oreo Milkshake The food is cooked fresh so expect a 7 – 10 minute wait but it’s worth it! The food came out fresh and the burgers were tasty and juicy. Save your gas receipt for a free order of fries.

What can I say with a name like«Fatburger»? It was a great burger one of the best I’ve had in a long time — lives up to its name for sure! Why only 4 stars you say? It’s in a gas station with very limited seating. In fact its almost uncomfortable to sit there and eat when you smack dab in the middle of the convenience store part of the gas station(Chevron) to be exact. Don’t let that take away from the burger plus the sides they have fat or skinny fries. I’d recommend highly!

It was okay, too much mustard, and my diet soda tasted like bleach. Was the strangest thing ever. First time at a fatburger, so I can’t comment on if it is the norm.

Three and a half stars for food and zero stars for location and ambiance. They should have a drive thru. My first experience here was good because the food was good(not great) and it was take-out and I wasn’t the one to pick it up. A month later I decided to eat-in with the kids. At first I got lost and had to do a couple u-turns(the signage is horrible). Then my boys didn’t even want to go inside because it didn’t look appealing(my kids are 7 and 8yo). It was noon on a Saturday and I expected it to be busy but there was no one around. This is always a tell-tell sign. I ordered two small burgers for kids, a medium burger with Swiss for me, onion rings, skinny fries and one shake for $ 26. The food was good, not great, but good. I didn’t care for the onion rings as the batter tasted a bit on the bland side and if I’m going to eat those calories, I want more bang. The fries could’ve used more salt or seasoning but the were good. The meat on the burger was juicy and I’d say that saved the meal. But the Maui-banana shake was the star! If you do decide to eat here, the best option is to take it to-go. While sitting in the gas station eating we got a big whiff of chemical mid-meal. I think it was disinfectant from the cleaning supplies in the bathroom(the toilet was only a few feet away from our table gross) but it made my youngest one sick and he threw up when we got home.

Fat burger is amazing per the usual. This place is pretty unique being found inside a gas station, but the food was still great. One downside, they didn’t have the honey mustard I love so much from fat burger!

I have zero desire to eat inside of a gas station. Solution: Order to-go and eat at home. The ½ pound burger was huge and tasty. Their skinny fries were delicious. Will I return? My grandma lives on this side of town now, so, possibly.

I feel nostalgic when I think of my «2 in the morning got the Fatburger» days. This chain provided me with some much needed sustenance after girls night out dancing. So seeing it at a gas station is just plain weird and not glamorous at all! It tastes just as good as I remember but to me the point of eating fast food is the convenience of a drive through or eating it right there while it’s pipping hot. Well, there are only 2 tables available tables and no drive through because it’s plopped into the middle of a Chevron. I am not sure what the going rate is for fast food these days but paying $ 12 for a medium burger, fries, and a drink seems like the dumbest decision I made this week.

DONOTEATHERE! THEMANAGEMENT is going to be SUED ADAVIOLATION! DISCRIMINATION!!! Last Sunday me and my cousins went to Livermore to visit my uncles grave. We were sad so after our prayers we go into this gas station and are eager to eat some Fat burger. We left in RAGE and my poor cousins started crying because of the manager AMIR! He discriminated against our family SERVICEDOG and embarrassed us In front of EVERYONE! As we walk in and stand in line my Afghan Hound Medical Alert Service Dog is quietly siting on the ground when AMIR rushes towards us and says«THERE is NO dogs allowed!!» I inform him that he is a Highly trained ANCIENTBREED, who has cost me more than $ 100k to purchase and train. AMIR yells«WHERE is his paperwork??? Or Clothes??! Get out! WE are Trying to RUN a RESTAURANTHERE!» OMG!!! I’m front of 20 people he embarrassed me and my family! I than Rush to my Car«keep in mind it is 105 degrees outside» and bring my Dogs License and Velcro Attire to show the management and EMBARRASSTHEM! By law, I am not entitled to «dress my dog» to prove his status. Well AMIR never came out and HID behind the store!!! How GUILTY can you be? In my opinion AMIR is afraid of DOGS and Did what he did in order to have some sort of power trip over us. Well that’s GOING to COSTYOU! Alexander The Great once said«May God keep you away from the Venom of the Cobra, Teeth of Tiger and the Revenge of the Afghans” — he was right. I have informed the federal government. Dept of justice has received my complaint =) Word of ADVICEAMIR! It is ILLEGAL to ask for Service Dog Documentation or «Paperwork» and embarrass patients in from of customers. We have experienced extreme anxiety and panic because of you and I will see I justice from your disorderly conduct and violation of Federal Service Animal Rights. I have demanded retraining of you and your staff with my Law Suit.

I’m not sure really how I feel about Fatburger. I mean, they do have large hamburgers, which would explain the name. But I feel leaving… confused, I feel like most of the time. Okay, so if you didn’t read that they’re in the Chevron gas station, they’re located in the Chevron gas station. I’ve been here twice with my family, the first time, there was no one there, so we had no problems with seating. The second time, there were people eating there, so seating was a little more difficult to find. But once we were done ordering, the other people were done eating, so we were able to find a table. The first time that I went there, I ordered a burger… because I feel like, when you’re trying a place for the first time… you should order what they are«known» for. With this place being called, again, Fatburger, I felt like I should try their burger. So I got a large one, I believe… with swiss cheese and bacon. I don’t like all the extra stuff, just mayo and tomatoes. I skipped the fries, but ordered a Reese’s PB shake. My friend ordered a burger and made it a combo with fries and a drink. My kids, they all ordered children’s meals with chicken strips, skinny fries and a drink. Now please tell me HOW my order came to $ 48. Whaaaat?!? You know that I can go to a sit down restaurant and pay the same amount, maybe even less! Okay… I just went with it. The burger that I had… was okay. I mean, it was good… but it wasn’t anything that I’d write home to. And apparently, it wasn’t good enough that I’d order it again because the second time that we came here, I ordered chicken strips. Yes, I went with the same thing as my children and ordered chicken strips. They were good, but I wasn’t feeling good, so I maybe ate two out of the four. I like their skinny fries with ranch. Their computer system is slow, kept acting up… so the girl had to input our order like three times. And then somehow, they gave us like 8 french fries. I’m not sure what happened. So the bottom line with Fatburger… it was okay. But it is far from my favorite burger and the price range kinda makes me go «Ehhh, that was nice… but been there, done that».

I’m very happy and excited that there is finally a Fatburger in NorCal and it’s not too far from my house either… I was a bit taken aback that it is located inside the Chevron, that was kinda odd. I passed it up several times because I was looking for a stand alone Fatburger with a big sign. I wasn’t too hungry so I opted for a small fatburger, fat fries and a soda and I was pleasantly surprised it tasted just like the ones in So Cal. Next time I will be trying out their milkshakes and a bigger burger.
