Cheaper than Cream and Loard’s, tasty with a lot of different ice cream flavors and Mexican popsicles.

Theres no words to describe how much i loooovee this place. My favorite item is the fresas con crema and the piña colada water OMG. Sucks that they close early at this time of year but it’s reasonable due to the weather but once spring and summer hits ill be there all the time. I always and will continue to recommend this place to any ice cream lovers like me.

Great selection of flavors! It was really hard to choose but each kind we have tried so far has been delicious. The staff was also really friendly and patient in letting us try a lot of flavors. Will definitely keep returning.

They have a very nice selection of Mexican ice cream flavors. The employees were also very nice and let us taste many different flavors that we weren’t familiar with. Highly recommended if you are in downtown Livermore and you are looking for something a little different for dessert!

Oh Mi Dios! This place is an ice cream lover’s heaven! They have so many unique flavors, it’s hard to pick just one. We sampled a bunch and still had a hard time deciding. The butter flavored ice cream must be tried! It has creamy, mildly buttery notes. Such a cool experience. :) I ended up selecting the coffee ice cream, which was super potent. I have a very high caffeine tolerance and I was feeling the buzz. It wasn’t labelled, but there were little bits of nuts in there… pecans? I told the staff and they said they’ll put a label on it, in case someone has food allergies. They also have a milder coffee ice cream… I believe that one was labelled cappuccino or something like that. Ask the staff for recommendations, they are so super nice! Also, no worries, they are fluent in English. DH went with the guava, which was very fruity and sweet. The portion sizes are HUGE. We were greedy and got a scoop each on a waffle cone(only 25 cents extra!). Ugh, how could we end up with too much ice cream!!! Next time, we’ll share one. Probably a regular flavor like cookies n’ cream that we can both agree on. Prices are really, really cheap considering the quality… I think it was about $ 2.50/scoop. Some smart customers got theirs in a cup, so they could take leftovers home.

This place took a loooong time to open but they must’ve been perfecting their secret recipe because oh man it’s delicious! Tons of ice cream flavors, all very obviously fresh and made in house. Tons of popsicles too– mexican style, meaning fresh fruit not ice with flavoring. They have some other classic Hispanic desserts ie a bionico which is fresh fruit(strawberries, mango, apple, banana, etc) with sweet cream, coconut shavings and peanuts. Omg, a must try– I like this better than froyo and it’s a much more generous portion. This place is popular w the Latino community so it can get busy but it’s worth the wait. It’s $ 2 a scoop and better then baskin robbins. Try the butter flavor ice cream, sounds crazy but it tastes like cake batter. Yum!

Will be coming back to try more of their unique flavors! I got the generous scoop of mango(sorbet) which tasted like the real thing, and my husband got a scoop of ice cream flavored like BUTTER! Sounds gross, but in actuality it was very creamy and enjoyable.

If high quality sorbet and ice cream had a baby it would be La Original. So creamy. So delicious. There is an overwhelming number of flavors. I think I sampled half of them(and the worker was gracious and took the time to explain everything to me). I ended up with mango(which tasted like a mango) and pineapple coconut. Seriously so good. They also have beautiful looking Popsicles. Beautiful Popsicles? Yes. Beautiful. You’ll have to go in and look at them to see what I mean. And they are locally made! I have a new favorite ice cream place in Livermore.

Delicious ice cream! It’s by far the creamiest ice cream I’ve ever had! It’s a very traditional Mexican creamery. They have so many flavors to chose from. The staff is very friendly.

My favorite ice cream outside Fenton’s in Oakland. Fresh and delicous, their ice cream is really creamier than most. They have a world of amazing flavors as well as the standards. Really nice people in a clean, bright spot. A great spot for a wonderful treat and their horchata rocks. Really good value.

Yo scream, tu scream, nosotros todo scream for ice cream! That’s as good as my spanish gets but I thought I would bust it out for this traditional Mexican ice cream wonder shop! This little shop next to El Charro has fast become part of my weekly routine. Here’s why… They are so nice! Everyone who works here has great customer service and offer me as many samples as I want. That is a lot of samples! There are so many flavors to choose from. Chongos and Cheesecake and Avocado and Montequilla and Tequila! yumz They offer lots of other treats too. Lots and lots of paletas, flavored drinks, horchata, and Mangodadas!!! If you want to have a treat trip try that. It’s sweet, spicy, chunky, and creamy. Aaaaaaand it is inexpensive! A scoop is only $ 2.25! Me gusta!

More creative than than any ice cream place in the tri — valley. Who needs spinkles when the ice cream is chock-full of the things you love? My pineapple ice cream didn’t just have little bits of pineapple mixed in, it was like eating a pineapple. And you owe it to yourself to try a passion fruit popsicle. How can you afford to put that much fruit in a popsicle? I’m coming back for some of the standards: cookies and cream is next.
