This place has about the best customer service I’ve experienced in a very long time! Surprisingly the gentleman behind the counter was in his 20’s. Will definitely come here for my Spirits and Cigars every time I’m in town!!!

Raja Liquors has a nice selection of microbrews in sixpacks(9.99) and 20 ouncezs, mostly overpriced. large store. buys:Newcastle, blood red ale, «werewolf beer”(1/12oz)4.5% alc –smooth and malty, slight kick, good value, 3ish stars –looks like closeout sale drips: –priced items overpriced. –store in rundown commercial strip.

Today was my first visit to Raja Liquors on Pacific Avenue. I went on the recommendation of Concannon to purchase a bottle of their Irish Whiskey for a friend. The bottle was marked $ 22.99, which seemed reasonable. The clerk told me it would be $ 25 with tax, which seemed high, but I didn’t do the math in my head. When I got home, the receipt he put in the bag was for $ 26 and it just listed the total cost, not the $ 22.99 and tax. He overcharged me by almost $ 2. I went straight to the bank and changed the pin number on the debit card I used there.

The had what I was looking for. I didn’t spend a lot of time in here but after looking at some of the prices on spirits they looked pretty good compared to other liquor stores I have been to. Worth checking out if you are in the area.
