This is a new Thai restaurant that just opened up next to Lanna Thai in Livermore and it’s owned by the same people. You can eat here and also order off the Lanna Thai menu in case the unique combinations don’t really appeal to you. The menu is full of creative takes on American food with a Thai spin. I ordered the Crispy BBQ Pork Belly which came with 2 skewers of pork belly, a cabbage slaw and a Thai version of fried rice. I have to say I really enjoyed the dish. For being a side, the rice had so much flavor and a nice hint of spiciness to it. The pork belly was thinly sliced and skewered and was seasoned well with good flavors. My coworkers thought the Thai enchiladas and the pulled pork tacos were also very good. I will have to come back again and try the rest of the menu.

Ok, this one is tough. I like the Thai at Lanna but the fusion side they are working is just a little much. The hot wings were pretty good, the rest of what we tried on the fusion menu was incredi-rich and frankly not amazing. My girlfriend and I both left saying that next time we go here we will stick to the Thai menu.

I am also a fan of Lanna Thai so trying their new adventure next door was an easy choice. Infact, you can order these new menu items at their existing restaurant which this is joined with by open wall. I had crispy pork belly and it was delish. The fried rice dish it came with was good too. It was sweet with a little spicey after taste. Very unique. I really liked it. It was served with a fried egg on top. Large portion so I took half of it home. They were out of the bacon watermelon appetizer. I hope they find another season fruit/veggie item for the menu. The new menu is a little veggie«light.» I look forward to going back to try the other items like the bacon wrapped hot dog and the lemon grass shrimp in wasabi sauce.

Ever eat something that left you feeling euphoric after eating? I just had the thai ‘tacos’, made with sliced marinated pork, cabbage, carrots and wrapped in a very soft buttery roti. It was topped with a bit of pickled cabbage, a lot like kimchi. It was spicy, but not over-the-top. I’m still twitching with joy. I noticed some other diners trying the burger and other menu items, they seemed to think there was need for improvement, but these tacos were truly fantastic.

Our experience with this restaurant took place on Thursday evening, yet we are still feeling the pain. My boyfriend has a dairy allergy. We ordered the appetizer sampler and were assured that there was no dairy. Well, one of the items was full of cream cheese and by the time he figured it out it was too late. When we told our waiter he said he forgot and brought a couple of fried pot stickers. Judging from how sick he is, there was milk in more than just the appetizer. My boyfriend is still sick with terrible stomach cramps and is completely miserable.

My husband & I shared the following times: 1) Bacon & Watermelon appetizer –great flavors although the bacon was just fatty pork belly I think & needed a bit more flavor & crispness. Very unique dish! 2) Pulled Pork Tacos — Delicious! These are large tacos as they are on regular roti bread. Pork was great on this dish. There are many flavors mixed in this fresh great tasting menu item! We will order this again! 3) Enchilada — used same fatty pork belly as appetizer so was just ok. They used the sweeter sauce with cheese over the tortilla filled with the pork. The sauce was a bit much in portion but had great flavor. The crispy rice on the side was SO good that we will ask to order it next time even by itself! We want to try the other dishes so will be back! We love the restaurant next door & are regulars there so are happy to frequent this new venture as well! Welcome to the neighborhood!

Think of this as an annex to a really great Thai restaurant Lanna Thai in Livermore( ). Menu sounds amazing. Today we chose 1 dish from here, and one from the traditional Thai menu… and that was just perfect. We ordered the BBQ Shrimp… perfect shrimp on a skewer with spicy apple salad. Amazing! We also had the pad Thai… a personal favorite. Our tiny diners had a 2 kids meals. We will be back, especially because some in our family do not love Thai, and now there are American choices. Oh, and it’s my favorite Thai in the valley, that too ;-)

I loved our meal today! The hot wings were amazing, both of the pizzas(southern curry and pulled pork w/slaw) were addicting, and the iced tea was of course terrific. I had the hot dog w/bacon and tried the green chili burger on a previous visit and was completely blown away. We’ll definitely be going back to try more dishes in the future. Yum! The service was also strong and décor memorably authentic. Loved the complete experience.
