Like lethal weapons 2 says. ‘They screw you in the drive thru’. They were not busy of the 6 items we ordered 3 were wrong n 1 was missing.

This place is garbage. The bacon rapped hot dog isn’t even bacon rapped. It had a crappy piece of bacon that was set outside the bun. The service was fast and amy i think her name was, was very friendly but that barely makes up for the food.

Drive-thru is always terribly slow. Don’t come here if you’re in a hurry, even if there’s only a couple cars ahead of you. When I went yesterday, with only one car in front of me, it was quicker than normal. I ordered a hotdog and ice cream. Both were okay. I asked for a receipt. About a month ago, when I got a receipt, it wasn’t readable. I could barely make out the faint print if I struggled. I brought it to the attention of the person waiting on me. She said she would tell the manager. She also asked if i wanted a pen so I could write what I wanted on the receipt. So they are aware of the problem. Now, a month later, the receipt I was given wasn’t much different than a blank piece of paper. Sure, I could see something was printed on it, but read it, no. I told the person who gave it to me that it wasn’t readable. His answer, «well, I can read it.» Does it matter that this young man can read it(assuming he wasn’t lying) if the one who needs it cannot? Should one have to struggle to read something that should be clear. I think it would be better if they tell people they cannot have a receipt than to blithely hand them a blank piece of paper as though that’s just as good. I wonder what else this place is faking, since they don’t care about their customers’ requests.

What can I say about Wienerschnitzel? Clearly this is swimming at the shallow end of the fast food gene pool! Don’t come here looking for a «healthy alternative»…you won’t find it. Since I have a teenager who loves this place(Dad, the food is good and cheap!), I drive through to get him food, not me. Still for cheap eats I guess it works.

Be prepared to wait at least 10 – 15 minutes in the drive through If there’s more then two cars. Shit better be hot after this kinda wait. The food is what it is… cheap greasy, disgusting and delicious all at the same time. gotta love the chocolate dipped cones… if you dont give a single fuck about service then this is the place for you.

Amazing food, awesome prices, what more do I need to say? This place is boss! My favorite thing to get is a corn dog with the strawberry lemonade!

It’s extraordinarily ordinary. It’s not the Der experience that we typically enjoy at the North Vasco Road location, who’s also a bit more liberal with coupons and deals.(And c’mon, if you can get a Tastee Freeze and it’s on special, it’s twice as yummy.) This location is generally clean, though I tend to avoid the restrooms if it’s not a pressing need. Parking lot is postage-stamp sized, but street parking is usually fine.

So I guess Im picky and this was not my cup of tea. The fries were not hot and we could not understand the person taking our order through the speaker . My chili cheese fries tasted funky I did not eat them. It was a pretty big waste but it was a drive through so fast my Fathers Brisk tea was good though. No one finished their food and that says a lot.

Wienerschinitzel. Had the hardest time spelling the stupid name. Anyway I had some fries which were really cripsy and on the spot. Downed two of the greesiest hot dogs that I have ever eaten. This weird looking MOFO in the back was microwaving chili which sent chills down my spine. There were some weird people working there and some weird customers. Therefore, I have renamed this place weinersnatcher because i’m too creeped out to ever set foot in this place again.

It’ a good hot dog store. Nothing fancy, not trying be a mom-and-pop. It’s a franchise. But…I have been going here since the Señor taco stood where it is now, and Wienerschnitzel was on the corner where the parking lot is. The base offerings have remained constant and reliable for that whole time. I know the owners a bit as well, and know that they have provided an opportunity for many kids to have their first job. I like to patronize places like this. Support your local businesses, even if they look like a big chain. I mean, why would you go to the corporate store out on Vasco when you could go here instead, and get a better dog and keep the money in the community? Oh yea… Tastee Freeze! Cones on sale daily between 3 and 5 pm…

I tried Wienerschnitzel for the very 1st time with my fiancé after the Super Bowl. The restaurant was closed so we ended up walking through the drive through. We ordered 2 Chili Cheese Dogs, Jalapeño Poppers, and 2 Chili Cheese Burgers. When we got our order they had forgotten to add cheese to the Chili Cheese Dogs and well as the Chili Cheese Burgers. We were patient while they fixed the order. After eating our meal my fiancé I and I both decided that the food was mediocre at best and Jack in the Box has much better Jalapeño Poppers. I don’t no when and if I will be back.

The best dogs! Plus they have shakes, cheese burgers, coney island hotdogs… I love this place. The prices are very very good for all the food you get.

Boy — all the horrible reviews(two!) are dragging this place down in star rating. Come on — your LiverMorons … this place has been good to us for how many years? I compared the gourmet dog from the new downtown place with the Angus Dog from WS and guess who won? der Wienerschnitzel !! and I know hot dogs … born and raised in Chicago … visited the coveted Vienna Beef plant many times … and how about the 50% off ice cream this past spring and summer from 8pm — 10pm … that rocked… some come on down for great ice cream desserts and even better hot dogs… besides … it’s Dogtoberfest !!!

I ordered the Pretzel Bun Chili Dog & Fries for $ 3.78. The Pretzel Bun was very good and the Chili was excellent. The Fries were good. A satisfying meal from this Drive Thru.

Wienerschnitzel has been around a long time. decades ago, the dogs were actually pretty good. no more sampling: cheaper than the 5/$ 5, the .89 cents dogs draw me in. –regularly 1.29−1.59, i choose a kraut dog and a relish dog. –the kraut tasted like what i imagined paper would taste like. –the relish dog had onions too which made it tasty. –the weiners were tasteless, not juicy, just limp. probably turkey dogs. leftovers: –will probably only order the chili dog since the chili taste good. –the frostie also. –lots of parking in the lot –friendly, semifast, courteous service.

The service has gone down hill. I placed my order and they never gave it to me. After two other were helped & served I inquired and received my order to have been given cold, soggy fries & when given back to get new ones. I went back to my table and got them. The asst mgr & the owner just said sorry any never really offered to compensate me for my poor experience or even offer to give me money back for my fries I never got. At this rate they won’t be open for business long

After going to family night at the Rodeo we needed something fast for dinner. DH and I decided to hit up Wienerschnitzel since a friend said we should try it. I got a corn dog and DH a chili dog. I have to say that my corn dog was very car friendly compared to the chili dog, but somehow DH didn’t make a mess. Our son loved the fries, but didn’t want the corn dog, oh well! What can I say… It’s fast food. Would I go back? Hmmmm, if we are in Livermore and really hungry? I can’t say it would be our first choice.

This is Da Schnitzs Yo! Tastee Freeze! Drive thru and Root Beer Floats. I have never had a hot dog — not that they don’t look absolutly delish in those pictures! They do look really good especially the chili dog. But I have a thing about hot dogs and bologna meat isn’t suppose to be that color. Right? It was one of those HOT mid morning days here in Livermore, where the stereing wheel is melting any callouses you had on your hand so you drive with your elbows out so they touch the air from the ac vents. I didn’t want to get out of my car and stop the ac running and then getting back in to melt all over again until the ac kicks back in. SO Drive Thru Yay! I ordered the Large Regular Cone Dipped! It was pretty huge and the chocolate coating was thick so it held th4e ice cream in pretty well! It sure was Tastee! Maybe I try some fries or something next time!
