I was looking for a dependable Tailor that was located close to work so I thought I would take them for a ‘test drive’ by bringing in 1 pair of slacks to be altered. I brought them in on Thurs. aft. and asked Mary if she could have them ready on Saturday. I was excited when she said ‘not a problem, they’ll be ready around closing time, between 3:45−4p’. I arrived there Sat. at 3:50p and gave Paul my claim ticket. After searching for about 5mins. my slacks were found, however they had not been worked on yet. At this point Mary took over, but was very aloof about the situation, saying it wasn’t a big deal, and she will work on them while I wait. There were other customers being attended to so Mary started on my pants, then Paul took over(Why, I don’t know). Luckily I tried them on before leaving because they fit to tightly, so Paul had to fix them. The 30mins I waited didn’t bother me nearly as much as not being offered a discount for my inconvenience. But worse, neither Mary nor Paul even apologized for not having my slacks ready when promised, and didn’t seem to care one way or the other.
