We stopped here after having a medical procedure done, so you know we were hungry since we couldn’t eat beforehand. I really don’t know why my significant other stopped here, since IHOP is right across the street! Of course I was reminded why I don’t eat here. They couldn’t get the eggs right after 2 attempts. They must have had to go to the store for the toast. It came out after the second set of eggs were refused. My significant other’s food wasn’t any better. I normally don’t complain because I waitressed for 10 years while going through school, but this was that bad. The manager came to the table and stated the only thing she could do was give us coupons. I told her, «You must not understand, we don’t plan on coming back. Coupons won’t do anything for us!» Kind of leads me to believe she really wasn’t a manager because a real manager can do something to compensate for bad food. The toast and hashbrowns were good. I wouldn’t recommend any eggs unless you like them really overcooked. I hope for those who do like this chain of restaurants, the one you go to is good for you. I wouldn’t recommend this location.

As I stated before I sit @ the counter always staff walks by like you are invisible unless you are a daily regular, which by now I should be in that category. Nevertheless I have watched them ask or bring coffee to their regulars who by the way came in after me, really have they not received the memo on customer relations yet, I think not. I will do what they want and take my business elsewhere…

My boyfriend and I eat here twice a week, but that will all change. The friendliness of the servers are usually hit or miss but this last visit took the cake. We were seated promptly and our waitress(can’t remember her name myajanee or something«creative» like that) came by to take our drink order. By the time she was back with our waters we were ready to order food. The wait for the food was kind of long but we understood since it was packed. Once our order arrived she had hash browns on my plate instead of home fries. Then asked if she could bring a refill of water. When I brought the mistake to her attention and she rolled her eyes, took the plate and took it to the chef. She loudly said«the lady said the wrong thing, she wanted home fries instead on hash browns». My boyfriend and I looked at each other shocked because we both knew she was the one that messed the order up!(She didn’t write anything down, took or our order by memory) I don’t even like hash browns! Lol We completely finished the rest of our meal, she never brought the refill of water, or the check. I walked to the register(because we’re ready to go) that’s when she brings the home fries! Needless to say I spoke with a manager.(which offered cookies for free WHOOPEE) We’ll never return to this location again and I will encourage others to stay away! Especially from the server with the bad memory and the bad attitude

We came in and was seated quickly. Everyone is so polite and helpful. We ordered the rise and shine breakfast. With steak and eggs. I ordered mine medium rare and the wife want hers medium well. They both came out the same time and both cooked to perfection. They were very tender and the taste was so good putting as thing on it would be criminal. The waitress worked real hard to take care of us.

I wish I could rate this a ZERO! Where do I begin at this cascade failure of a train wreck? Though quickly seated at 9:30am with the room full of senior citizens who must have no better place to go or just need to kill time here, the hero of the place had to be the WWII veteran and I assume his son for courage under this withering onslaught of mismanagement and incompetence. The 60+ waitress Jean who had less smiles than Spock on lithium, moved quickly, but could not deliver us proper service. We got our menus and as I attempted to order the egg substitute omelette was told they were out and would never have it again despite having been listed twice prominently in the menu and not blacked/blocked out. I finally ordered the extremely expensive $ 7.99 two item omelette(of which cheese is an item) with bacon and portobello mushroom plus 40 cents more for tomatoes. My wife ordered the same regular egg omelette with 6 extra items and home fries(tater cubes) instead of the well done hash browns I requested and regular rye toast as opposed to my uncut rye. I wanted water, she ordered the cola. Twenty long minutes later after four other tables were seated after us but got their meals first, our noses were assailed by the smell of burning toast, a foreboding of things to come. Jean rapidly dropped off the food and more quickly disappeared without my wife’s soda but left two minuscule waters. My toast was not buttered and both of ours was so dry I thought it was square pieces of lava rock. Pointing this out to Jean she only redid mine but returned with smaller child portioned heel/end pieces. What the £^€¥? Also my hash browns were so small a child’s portion should have been larger as mine was 1⁄3 to ¼ of my wife’s potatoes by weight. Then of course let’s not forget the yellow yolk featured on the top of my egg WHITE omelette like a giant happy face, not mirroring my mood. So I demanded a redo of the omelette when she finally deigned to return, having ate the three tiny forkfuls of hash browns. Another 10 minutes and my omelette finally reappeared with, guess what… More yolks in the egg white!!! Too angry to leave a tip, but more than looking forward to converse with management, I ate around it and begrudgingly ate the still raw, not well done potatoes I requested though it was a full order of raw hash browns. Aargh, I felt like I was Charlie Brown trying to kick Lucy VanPelts football. A disinterested black female manager, did not offer to comp this garbage, nor even offer a discount, but asked my wife for her name and address to supposedly send us some coupons? They had better be at least the $ 22.56 on a gift card that we wasted on this sewage, but hey 25+ years ago we went to this exact same restaurant and had a lousy meal here. Nothing has changed. To my wife who I reminded of this fact to her BEFORE we drove there, but since we were in the area, and she drove the car, «I told you so!!!»

Horrible & wont be back. Have tried this place two times & both times there were issues. The food is extremely salty & service is horrible. Last night the waitress came by our table only to take our order, bring the food & then our bill. Due to my food being so salty I ended up drinking my iced tea in a matter of minutes & then drank my husbands! She never came back to ask if we needed anything. The table beside us had to keep asking for their bill. I had their wildfire chicken salad & it was disgusting. My husband tried a bite & told me he felt bad that it was what I had to eat for dinner… I ended up eating half & left hungry. Don’t stop here, keep driving.

Both times I’ve been in here the servers were amazing. After moving to the west coast(where there’s no Bob Evans) I’m so happy with my experience. The only downside was the loud workers yelling and cussing in the back to each other while doing their side work.

Third timesa a charm. Done coming here. The food is usually good but the service has been slow and unattentive the last three times we’ve been here. Had to ask for more water. Had to ask for the bread I ordered. Today we asked for our bill and still waited

My sister and I went in on a Sunday afternoon, the service was EXTREMELY slow and poor. The tables were dirty and there were big pieces of food and paper on the floor. The food was mediocre at best. My order was wrong and my silverware was dirty. The staff wasn’t very friendly and they were forgetful. This location was once my favorite, now its poorly ran with lazy people on staff. I left highly disappointed.

I stopped for dinner tonight and I believe that will be the last dinner I eat at Bob Evans. Why is it they can cook a good breakfast but as many times as I’ve eaten dinner there, I come away disappointed. The only dinner I’ve had that I enjoyed was the turkey. First of all, I walked in and the hostess was on the phone, taking an order. I waited until she was done, figuring she’d take care of me right away. After the phone call, she turned away and spoke with someone else. Still waiting. Then she turned and spoke with someone else. I said under my breath — I guess I’m just here for my health. She then looked at me and asked if I wanted to put in a to go order. I said no — I wanted to sit and eat my dinner. I was shown a table and asked for iced tea with lemon. Got the tea — no lemon. Asked for the beef tips and noodles with a side salad with vinegar and oil. They had NO oil, and only raspberry vinagrette or balsalmic. Had to change to ranch. The beef tips and noodles were bland. Got some rolls which were really good. Waited for my bill. Didn’t come. Went to the front and told her I didn’t have a bill but also wanted to order some pie to go. Paid my bill and then waited and waited for the pie. I was told it usually takes 5 – 10 minutes — FOR A PIECEOFPIE??? It wouldn’t even take you two minutes to cut it and put it in a to go container. Breakfast — yes. Dinner — NO!

My daughter and I went there on 2÷17÷2015 for lunch. We were seated promptly, but after 15 minutes, we still had not been even offered a beverage, let along have our orders taken. The waitress was at the next table of 6 – 8 people, all of who were being complete asses, questioning every item on the menu, send her back to the kitchen to see if certain changes could be made, then when the waitress returned with an answer, they would change their mind about that item(even though the kitchen was willing to accommodate them). We were promptly ready to order our meals, but we received no service, apparently because management requires wait staff to stand at tables for certain people, while they try to decide what they want to order. The waitress glanced nervously at our table a couple of times, while standing at the table of asses, but clearly she had been given her orders. We left after 15 minutes of no service whatsoever. The restaurant was also filthy. On the opposite of the section we were sitting in, there were 2 women laughing, yelling, and pounding on the table, which made for a less than pleasing atmosphere in which to eat. No one at this restaurant made any attempt to quiet them down so other diners could enjoy their visit. Very unpleasant atmosphere, with very poor service. Apparently there wasn’t a manager working on this day.

Great service on this wintery day. 16 inches of snow, short staffed but delivered empeciable food and service. They offered a limited menu of favorite dishes. The Homestead breakfast with biscuits and gravy was delicious.

Typical breakfast food. Wait staff was prompt with coffee and brought a pot out with our all ready filed cups. I ordered the Farmers and had a $ 2 upgrade to the cinnamon pancakes.

Tonight they were out of Meatloaf, Turkey, spinach, coleslaw, apple blossom, rolls, etc. At least they are trying very hard, too hard, to be pleasant. And the food we did get was good.

We used to go there all of the time but in the last 3 months we have been there twice. The first time we go the chicken pot pie. The dough was raw and the inside was cold. We sent it back and got the same thing back. We decided to give them one more chance. I ordered the stake. It we burned and the service both times has been very bad. We will not be giving them another chance.

Went to this location for a second time. We are new to this area and go to bob Evans frequently. This place has horrible service both times that we have dined here. We gave them benefit of doubt because we went on Sunday morning. So went today there were busy but still had tables open so wasn’t too crazy ! We sat for about 10 minutes and then lady finally came to our table took our drink order and food order at same time. Waited for another 15 no drinks no water. Two other tables have been sat near us with same waitress an somehow they got there drinks and order taken. So we ended up talking to manager and order was never put in so we left !!! Horrible I guess I will be driving very far to a bob Evans just to get some good service.

Well again for the second time, the waiter was slow, did not know if dressing was on salad and brought a small amount on side even though I asked for extra. Did not come back for refills had to get the manager to get refills. Waited along time to order and a long time for my husband dessert. However we did get seated right away but that does not help when you wait over 20 minutes to order the food. The food was fair.

I love bob evens but this one has disappointed me twice now… As a previous review stated, I ordered a garden salad and arrived 10 mins later and I waited 15 minutes till the cashier lady made it for me because she kept getting caught up , They were not busy at all. I just called the other day to try it again because I love the salad but once again the same thing happened and the lady on the phone was SOO rude to me. I’v worked in a restaurant and am polite as can be so I know it wasn’t me that made this women act the way she did. This place needs corporate to plan a visit and clean the place up with the crappy employees who somehow get hired.

We tried the new menu items and the Burger with fries was very good. Bob Evans Restaurants are consistently good with good quality food and service. ***3 stars.
