Ordered the Tuscan pie and it was as good as the original in McLean. You will need to go there on Monday night and tell Josh to have the kitchen put chicken + black olives + artichoke hearts + red peppers on the mozzarella + tomato pie. Enjoy. Bene!

Hey now, this is a solid spot. A local gem, if you ask me. We strolled in with low expectations and were pleasantly suprised by the friendly service and fireplace dining room. The restaurant is split into two — a happy hour sports-bar feel on one side, and a nice pub restaurant feel on the other. Anyhow, the prime rib was fantastic. This is something you’d see in a fine dining steakhouse in NYC. A huge cut, maybe 2 inches thick, tender as can be, juicy, delicious. Dip that in some of the au jus, and you’re in steak nirvana. We also sampled the french onion soup(solid), zucchini chips(crispy, horseradish sauce, nice) and buffalo wings(grilled, sauce cooked on). I was happy happy. I think a homemade blue cheese too, which is always greatly appreciated. Yeah man, i’m sold on this place. New local spot for prime rib, tasty pub apps, cold ‘Spellboand’ IPA beers. What more could you ask for.

Revolting. Ordered shepherds pie on St. Patricks day that arrived as a plate of grease. Had zero seasoning or flavor. Found three whole sprigs of thyme in the food. No chef on the planet would do that. Lets continue. They used celery and beef in it. Celery is not on shephers pie and its not made with beef. Its made with lamb, this was a piss poor attempt at a cottage pie if anything. Just gross, like it was scraped out of a bin.

Fun place, especially in the summer. We kayak to the shores of the tiki bar, get some cocktails and lunch and paddle away. They have great specials including the $ 5 menu when any NFL game is on. Best on the $ 5 menu is the Hamburger sliders, nachos and chicken wings, as well as $ 5 BudLight pitchers. They have some bands occasionally, but usually a single guitarist. Food is good, and drinks are usually strong, and they have a good selection of beers on tap. On Sunday, every NFL game is on, so all your friends can watch their team. I usually go there for lunch, as the Panini’s, wraps and salads are good.

Great food fast drinks superior service. Our bartender Missy gave us some of the best bar service we’ve ever had, and it was a super busy night. She was fast and always smiling. Gave great suggestions for food, poured a great drink and made our experience one to remember.

Good food and service! Decent beer menu. The bar has live music from time to time which is always fun to go to. Great place for a date or to meet friends.

Stick with the prime rib and you will be fine. I had the large cut which was plenty of juicy beef for me.

Overpriced!!! This restaurant was overpriced for what it was serving. But not only was it overpriced, the food took so long to arrive! And when I went to visit, the place was practically empty! My sisters both ordered hamburgers, which had a crumby bun, and was poorly assembled. My mother and I ordered the crab cakes which did not taste like crab cakes at all. It tasted more like mushed crab put into a patty form. I wouldn’t recommend this Restaurant unless you have $ 150 to spare and a poor appetite

Wow. The worst service I’ve ever experienced. The few positive reviews must be related to the ownership. We waited 40 minutes to be seated because«the kitchen was backed up» yet there were 4 tables open that could have seated us. After being seated we waited another 30 minutes for ONEORDER of nachos. We’re now going on 45 minutes for our entrees. We also haven’t been asked if we want more drinks or even an apology or approximation on food. Just awful. The only thing this place has going for it is the outdoor atmosphere. We got there at 6:30pm and did not leave until 9:00pm(not by choice). We decided as a group to leave by 8:30pm if our entrees did not come out and at 8:29 a couple of our plates started hitting the table. Not all though. Half our table had to wait another 10 minutes while everyone else’s food got cold. The food wasn’t bad but it’s hard to say for certain since we were all absolutely starving. When we finally got the check I glanced to see if there were any discounts, coupons, ANYTHING to help compensate for the terrible dining experience. Nothing. I asked the waitress if I could speak to a manager. She replied with, «there is no manager here tonight». I guess major US holidays aren’t grounds enough to have a manager on staff(Labor Day). Unreal.

Don’t be fooled by the few good reviews. The service here is terrible. Terrible is an understatement. The nachos appetizer were good, but we’re currently still waiting for our main dish. It’s been over an hour. Really, managers, get your stuff together.

I went to McGillicuddy’s in Loch Arbour last night and my meal was overpriced and very tasteless. I sent it back and asked for a burger instead. It arrived on a stale bun and stale frizzled onions. I wrote a review to the manager and they replied with just an apology and called me childish. I do not recommend this place!

I LOVE this place. Been going here for years for summer drinks or winter football. They have it all. Nice bartenders, good food, strong drinks, but a little pricey. The value isn’t great but you’ll forsure have a good time. It gets really crowded and like hard to move if you just want to hang out by a tiki bar, so plan to eat so you can sit at a table on weekends in the summer.

Overall a solid go to place near the beach. Last night was pretty crowded, however the service was up to par. Got the ribs, they were awesome and the fiancé got the steak salad, also good. Their crush drinks are pretty good from past experience here, however went with beer last night. Only thing that ticked me the wrong way was the hostess whom spoke down to me when it came to getting a table outside when all I was trying to do was cancel our inside reservation as we wanted to wait for an outside. Not a nice attitude for the first person guests are greeted by.

Very disappointed with lunch. Ordered the Sesame Chicken Salad and was looking forward to a nice plate for $ 14.95. The chicken pieces on the plate were cut to about the size of a Dorito. There were only about five pieces on the plate and they were all so over cooked that they almost had the same consistency as a Dorito. These chips of Chicken were arranged over about a cups worth of greens which were good(how to you screw up greens), but there was a thimbles worth of dressing drizzled over the greens and you had to search for the spot were you might get a hint of flavor. I will not be returning to this spot and I’m disappointed because the décor and servers were spot on.

Enjoyed Mother’s Day brunch :) thanks for great service and good food. The service staff are friendly and attentive, and the bar is stocked with good craft beer and unique mixed drinks.

If you’re in the mood to sit and wait for your food for 45-minutes and then when the food comes, have flies join you for dinner(indoors mind you) and I mean about 15 flies flying around your head and landing on your food and almost going in your mouth as you’re eating, then this is the place for you… We started off good with a friendly greeting, but it was all downhill from there. No owner on-site didn’t help either. The manager on duty offered 50% off the bill and we ate only about 25% of our food. This was a definite one and done for me. Too many other good places.

C Terrible live music during a World Cup game. Really? Service is indifferent, food is bad. At least the beer is cold.

I tried to bring my mom to Lake House for the USA World cup game. Lake House was where I used to go for $ 1 beers during football after surfing.(Sept /Oct is the best surfing season in NJ) It had turned into a high end place. Everything was solid. We had the Clam Chowder, French Onion Soup, Spinach Dip, I had the McGillicuddy Burger. My mom had fluke(which was a tiny portion. The food was tasty enough. Its erred on the pricey side however. The service was not all that. We had a young waitress who seems to be a rookie to serving tables. We never got the beers we ordered and they were taken off the bill. The waitress looked nervous and«in the weeds»(restaurant lingo.) I sure know what its like serving tables with a case of ADD. I did it for 4 years. The atmosphere is good the food is great. The prices and service are not.

They have been working on fixing this place up for three years. They still have not finished but they are sooooo close. The bar is big and there are always plenty of seats. They have a great patio with a bar as well. Food is edible. My two big complaints: Number one — I hate dingy dirty bathrooms. The stall for the toilet does not even have a door. Really? How many of us like to go number two in a public place ATALL let alone without a friggin door. Number two — when they have live music it is so loud you cannot have a conversation unless you scream directly into the ear of your fellow converser. To sum it up. Great place for a casual dinner at the beach bad place to poop.
