The Wine and Liquor Outlet

Excellent selection! When I was home to visit my family in Lockport, the associates were very helpful at finding all the ingredients for my winter drinks. And the women behind the counter were pleasant and fun. So fortunate to have this great liquor store so close to home!

I needed a bottle of burgundy for a Christmas prime rib recipe, and my husband said this place would be my best bet due to size. I was also curious to check out their minis to stuff our stockings since Wright’s Corners has a smaller selection and no mixers.
This place is huge and has a great selection including local wines and spirits at reasonable prices. They also have a big assortment of minis. Unfortunately they keep them behind the counter. I was able to spy a few specific liquors from the side before I got in line, but part of the fun of minis is discovering new favorites. Plus there’s liquors I forgot to seek out, which would not have happened had I been able to explore at my leisure.
I can only assume theft is a concern due to their size, but I’ve never been to a liquor store that put the bulk of their minis behind the counter. Usually they just stick them in front of the check out or on top of the counter, or some place easily visible.
Update: apparently you’re allowed to go behind the counter to peruse the minis, or at least they let my husband and mother in law do so the other day when they asked. A little cramped and awkward for my taste, but it’s something.

This place seems to have everything. Even from local winery’s. My favorite wine from a winery I could not find anywhere and they had it: D
Alright reasoning for only 4 stars :
If your under the age of 30. some employees will give you the dirtiest looks, ask rudely for ID and then even after proof still are cold. I do not feel comoftable when shopping in there sometimes so I often go to Amherst…

This is hands-​down the best liquor store in WNY. The bad news, it’s in Lockport. So unless you are in Lockport, it’s not so convenient. I’d be shocked if you went in there with a long «grocery» list and didn’t find every single thing you need. The selection beats anyone else and prices are right too.
Also, just a note: If they do business with a winery but do not carry a specific label, just ask. They can order it, but only by the case. I did this once and gave a few bottles as gifts while keeping a few for myself. They actually started carrying that wine regularly after that.

WOW! Great prices, huge selection. If you are buying in bulk, it is worth the trip. Although don’t get me wrong, you don’t need to buy multiples to get the savings. I say that because is it pretty far up there, I just happen to work up that way and I thought running in on my lunch hour is better than being the mom who drags her daughter to the liquor store for «mommy’s juice»
The prices are so good, I was able to buy 3 bottles of wine for what I normally would have paid for one. And they even have the exotic stuff you think unheard of if Lockport. I totally say its worth the trip!

Liquor Up Front!
I cant say enough about Wine & Liquor Outlet. They have all bunches of wine and drinks and margaritors and not beer. I like to go in there before a party and find stuffs my friends can drink thats’ cheap and not expensive to buy. They drink alot. Does that make me an enabler? I used to take there car keys, but I would sometimes loose them and they would have to stay for the weekend until I cleaned the house. They have boxes’ too! For when your sick of your dirty house and want to move. This is where Gramma buys her peppermint schnapps. Minty!

From what I can tell, this place has the lowest liquor/​wine prices in WNY. Yes, it’s a bit out of the way for most people, but it’s def worth the drive. Prices are dollars below Premier’s «sale» prices, for realsie!

I like this place a lot, but if you’re in a hurry to grab a bottle of something on your way to a party, you might want to ask for assistance. The aisles are crowded and the wine bottles are a bit dusty sometimes, but it’s fun to browse here. I actually prefer these guys to Premier (but when it’s double-​up-​for-​a-​buck time at Premier, you really have to go to Premier… sorry) and they will always special-​order anything you want. I wish they would just go ahead and keep my fave MerryVale Starmont Cabernet Savignon in stock, though. It’s delish!
