Always clean store with awesome items to select from! Fast and friendly service which ensures the «threes a crowd» rule!
The vegetables and fruit is always fresh! I don’t have a concern about anything being near expired or expired! I appreciate I can still write a personal check here yet I wished they had the quick check pay rather than the poor associate having to ensure every check that is written when there is a system that could do this. Overall, always a good shopping experience.

Not a bad little grocery store. It pretty much has your basic staples. They did have limes on sale today. 14 for .98. That’s fantastic. Everything here looked clean and fresh.

Even though it was in the next town over my family has been venturing out here for years for the savings. I remember in my youth being excited to help push the then giant yellow carts up and down the aisles. I remember helping unload the cart into the belt, come check out time, and then help bag them on the other end.
The savings are great, the store is spacious, well organized and clean. And to this day we still shop there. Until next time.

This is the cheapest place I’ve found in Lodi, considering we don’t have a Super Wal-​Mart here.
It takes a strong stomach to walk down the fresh meat aisle, which is required to get to the checkout. I thought the days of chicken blood on the outside of the container from my childhood had long gone, but I was wrong. This place is so aware of this problem that they have produce bags lining the meat aisle for you to put your meat in. That’s great, but where’s the hand sanitizer?
They had taken two opened packages of Bar S brand products (7 hot dogs and half pkg of bologna) and wrapped them in a meat package for sale. Is this really up to code?
The aisles are organized so that you wind your way through the store, stopping every five feet for another inconsiderate customer who is not paying attention to their cart, kids, or whatever else is blocking the tiny aisle.
When you finally get to the checkout counter, bag all of your groceries, and get ready to pay, they inform you that they don’t accept credit cards! WTF! Good thing I still had hundreds in cash from our recent trip to SF!!! I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t accept personal checks, but I don’t carry those, either. Now I can go into the store, look at each customer, and bet how big their wad of cash is by how many items are in their cart!
I understand the need to cut costs in order to be a bargain basement store, but I think this business model should be in the trash can.

You get what you pay for. And this place has great prices, but the people shopping there can be a little iffy. You bag your own groceries which I don’t mind because there produce, dairy and meat prices can not be beat!

Okay so I have to update my earlier review. I have been going there more and more lately (still don’t get my produce here but anyway).
Their meat prices are not very affordable (especially the chicken breasts) but I definitely go there for my dried goods and canned-​and frozen food.
Even though Food 4 Less is cheaper than other Grocery Stores in the area, it is still more expensive than Winco in Stockton.

These stores are best at like 4 am when it’s empty and clean. I went in the middle of the day. I was shopping for a specific item and I went to get it, and not only was it sold out, but it was more expensive here than at Raley’s. I wasn’t able to check in here on my mobile app. Food 4 Less is only good for certain items.
