Damn really tried to hold back bad ratings so I can become a Unilocal elite but I have to speak my mind. I am pretty pissed off not at the store but the guy who said he’s some food blogging person who thinks this place has the best turkey avocado sandwich. You!!! You made me go here. Damn you. Anyways the turkey is like some ham like turkey that is mixed with a lot of gelatin. I went back on their Unilocal page to see if I accidentally went to a vegetarian sandwich place cuss it was so disgusting. I took out the«turkey» to try to finish it. Ask for light mayo if u don’t like mayo cuss you’ll get mayo for sure. I tried my best to hold my tongue, but with every bite I was mad I paid 7 dollars for this weird turkey.

It has a lot of potential yet the Place looks terrible and semi friendly service. Can’t understand why you wouldn’t keep the place cleaner and update the place. Bathroom was dark and dingy lacking any comforts and outside so had to use a key(ghetto) sandwich was so so and sides were served in small cup giving the tell that the are skimping on stuff. Asked for side mustard and they posted to some to go packets. I pictured that place being better but will not recommend not return.

Went there this evening at 7:15 just to be told by the two girls working that we had to place our order to go since they were closing. Feeling rushed we left and noticed the outdoor sign stated they closed at 8:00. Needless to say I will not be returning. Went to Jimmy Johns where we had great service and an excellent sandwich. Poor customer service, if the employees don’t want to work their entire shift then maybe they should find a new job that doesn’t involve customer service.

I regret coming here. It smells like an old freezer and the seats are all torn. The bathroom is outside and has no toilet seat covers and the toilet barely flushes. The food was gross. I spent $ 20 and left hungry. I got the avogobble which is their number 1 sandwich somehow. They put way too much mustard and it had no taste other than mustard. The turkey they use is poor quality. Honestly, subway uses better quality turkey than this place. The potato soup was the worst offender. I took 2 bites and decided I was done. It tasted like it was just sitting in the freezer for years. I walked out of this place pissed I spent $ 20 and left hungry.

Very good subs and not unreasonably priced. Veggie turkey is the best! Totally recommend this place!

I love the avocado turkey sub, so fresh and refreshing. And the frozen yogurt is always scrumptious! A must try!

I am a wannabe food blogger and honestly I don’t write positive reviews but the turkey avocado sub here was so great — it had to be done. After a long day of work and all, rolled in here and these guys were so friendly it made me smile. The place was cozy and to top it off the avocado sub hit all the right spots! Coming back here for sure, check it out!

Recently found this gem. Had the turkey bacon avacado sub, service was fast and food was fresh. Definitely recommend if you are in the area to check this place out.

BK Subs is a nice little sandwich shop that serves up some pretty tasty sandwiches. They don’t do anything«over the top» with their sandwiches, but everything I’ve had tastes good. My favorite sandwich from here is the«Avogobble». It’s basically a turkey and bacon sandwich with your choice of veggies and toppings with their house avocado/guacamole spread. The spread, which is slightly tangy, really makes this sandwich delicious. You’ve got the tanginess of that avocado spread, the saltiness of that bacon and that the meaty flavor of the turkey all together which make for tasty bite after tasty bite. I love this sandwich so much, especially because it doesn’t make me miss the cheese(though you can add some for a few extra cents). They always have«daily specials» which tempts me to try something new on occasion. Some of the specials are REALLYGOOD too! Ranging from 6″ sandwich, chips and soda for $ 6.00 to TWO foot longs and drinks for $ 8.00, you really gotta check this place out. It makes sharing lunch with your coworkers super easy(and delicious). Considering price and taste, as well as wait times(each time I’ve gone during lunch hours, I get my sandwich in a few minutes), this place earns four stars from me!

Okay, the service has gone downhill fast. I went in a few weeks ago to buy dinner for my family and I was the only person in the shop. I ordered 3 different subs on wheat. The types of subs didn’t have many ingredients to get confused and yet, after 10 minutes of waiting, they tell me they accidentally used white, but they would remake it if I wanted. I was ready to leave, so I said politely that white was okay. When I got home, I found they made more mistakes. Onion and tomato when they were ordered without. No mayo or mustard on the avogobble, so it was dry as f. «Pickles on AND on the side» were just given on the side, one sandwich had torn bread, and almost looked like someone took a bite. I was really disappointed. I used to love this place. I may give them another shot, but I’m really hesitant.

Finally tried this place out after driving by for years. I ordered a 12″ turkey, 6″ turkey avocado, and medium drink for under $ 9(That’s pretty cheap if you ask me). I came in today(Monday) during lunch hour(12:30), I was In-N-Out under 5 minutes(I was impressed). So lets get to the sub’s, my girlfriend enjoyed the turkey with all the toppings to include American cheese, I wasn’t too fond of it. Now the turkey avocado was really good. For the price and quality of food, I will definitely be coming back. I recommend this establishment to my fellow Unilocalers. Try the turkey avocado. This place has all kids of deals and they have coupons.

My Brother suggested this place since we were headed to Loma Linda Hospital. Wish he hadn’t… The place was an old abandoned gas station or store, converted to a sandwich shop. Dirty looking, and very tacky. Booth seats were torn, not a well cared for place. The only plus was that the 2 gals working there were friendly. Staff was unprepared for Food Allergies, they didn’t know the ingredients in their products to help people avoid food poisioning, and didn’t even know how to avoid cross contamination. Their restroom is outside, and filthy, you get a dirty stick with 2 keys on it. Yuk. Should have started here before ordering, I would have known for a certainty not to eat here. I will never return, you can count on that!

I used to be a loyal subway fan but when they wanted to charge me extra for parmesan cheese I was not impressed. Decided to give this place a try. It’s more simple than subway and has less toppings but overall better. I’m a bread snob and their bread was really good. I’d go again.

I decided to give BK Subs a 4 for a couple of reasons. For the food alone, I’d give it a 5. I literally will drive 10 miles round trip just to get their turkey avocado sandwich on the grinder roll. Everything about the turkey avocado sandwich is awesome! Tons of avocado and turkey, awesome, soft bread… Seriously so, so good. I also used to go here for lunch when I went to the academy, and this place is in desperate need of a makeover! Everything has been exactly the same(except a new coat of paint several years ago), every single booth seat has a tear in it. I almost always get my food to go because the smell and atmosphere are anything but appetizing. The service is average, not exceptionally good or bad. But what it really comes down to is the sandwiches, and they are super good! And so I’ll keep coming back!

I’m usually one of those Unilocalers who just goes on Unilocal to find places to eat but doesn’t write reviews. But this place deserves my time! Despite what it looks like outside(really old and run-down) the food is great! I got a turkey bacon sandwich and they actually loaded my sandwich with bacon. Loved it! And I love places that do subs and frozen yogurt together! To top off my lunch I enjoyed a small cup of butterfinger frozen yogurt. Reminds me of Hogi Yogi a lot. Really good food. :)

Yummy yummy yummy subs. That’s all that really matters. Yes, better than Subway or Quizno’s. You can phone in your order. Keep the coupon that’s attached to your to go bag. It offers you a discount on your next sub. We used to walk here from the academy. I didn’t like it back then. Up until a month ago, the place looked the same as it did in 2002; they just started to give it a make over. I hope they will replace the booths one day. But on a positive note, those are the same booths I sat in in high school!

BK Subs is a good value with their current $ 5 promotion. The Tuna sub was HUGE, of course most of it was the bun. The actual tuna was tasty. I have had meat subs there in the past and wasn’t impressed, as they tasted kind of bland, but the tuna had good flavor.

You wouldn’t know it from the outside but this place is a great lunch dive, I would not have gone but was referred there by a co-worker. Even after they told me I drove by without stopping just to come back and ask if I had the right place, the outside and inside needs work. They make awesome sandwiches, my favorite is the tuna avocado on squaw. I have become such a regular they know my order when I walk in the door. Along with the awesome sandwich comes an amazing price, best in town for the quality.

In one word, I can describe this place best as CHEAP. It is very inexpensive which I love. The place could use some TLC definitely though. The food is really good, especially for the price. I usually get a turkey and avocado on squaw bread with cream of potato soup. Both are pretty good. The sandwiches come out really quick and the soup is always scorching hot so proceed with caution if you don’t wanna burn your mouth. I suppose scorching hot is better than cold though… at least we know it won’t be getting us sick. The place is a bit run down looking but honestly for the price and product, I don’t mind. :)
