Oh my goodness. I am giving a 4 and not a 5 because… maybe because the ambiance was a smidge lacking but that is it!!! Immediately after I was seated, I was given free miso soup. I ordered the Double Double for $ 10.99. I didn’t want the imitation crab so my server recommended I substitute it with tuna. This Double Double situation was DELICIOUS!!! I almost wept. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The told were nicely sized. I will definitely order it again and explore the other rolls on the menu.

Don’t order take out. First they were 15 min late with my order(I placed it 2 hours before). Then my order was wrong. No apology.

Good little spot we came for the Ramen. Not many Ramen houses here in the I.E. like in LA so this place was a good find. The beef ramen hit the fat craving and the best thing there was no msg. MSG is short for toxin also used for ninja smoke bombs. Broth was excellent, it’s not the waxy instant ramen noodles, beef was good, the service was ok. Definitely coming back when we have that Ramen craving didn’t try much of the sushi but awesome meal for 3 at the same price as McDonalds.

Red wasabi is my new favorite. We came in to Loma Linda with a big crave for Japanese food. Red wasabi popped up on the Unilocal app. Quickly we were greeted and seated. The menu is a placemat sized color photo array. We ordered the #18 disco shrimp roll, sashimi combo small, and the chicken ramen«mild». Everything was spot on, however, the mild ramen was spicier than expected. The wait staff took it back without issue, to dilute. That didn’t work so they offered to bring a new bowl(udon) with no spice. The chef was so generous and offered me the spicy bowl at no charge. This group really wanted to please mom and ensure our satisfaction. The udon was done to perfection. For that, they have won me over as a customer and I will visit every time I land in Loma Linda. Thanks red wasabi.

Ate lunch there today with my daughter and it was very good. Portions are generous and the food is tasty. I tried the teriyaki chicken bowl and liked it very much. They sauce wasn’t too heavy or cloying, as you sometimes find in teriyaki dishes. Loved the vegetable tempura. Get there early since it really fills up around lunch time.

This place has come around big time! Great service, fresh food, great staff, good prices. Love the Hawaiian Volcano Roll, Dynamite Roll and Hungry Roll!

I ordered the Lunch Special D for about $ 10 and the portion was huge and well worth the price. But the quality of the food didn’t match the price, which made the meal less enjoyable. The tempura batter just completely takes over the shrimp and vegetables since it’s so thick. However, the teriyaki chicken wasn’t too bad and the california roll was alright. The tempura batter was just an overall disappointment, so i’m making sure not to order that if i come again.

Tried it twice. Food is good. Salmon teriyaki and chicken teriyaki both tasty and moist.

They really need 2 waiters working the tables. 1 waitress isn’t enough for 14 tables. You guys already charge quite a bit for the food, so I would recommend using some of the profits to get another waiter/waitress. It will increase turn around times.

I think this place has really good sushi and their ramen is delicious ignore the people saying otherwise cause they’re just weird and picky. The foods good and the staff is almost always friendly and kind

This place is very good and the food is always very fresh tasting. The servers are very nice and they have an option to take your check to the counter if you don’t have time to wait(busy during lunch hour).

This is my second visit to Red wassabi, I work across the street at Loma Linda hospital and go there for lunch this is my second time now, the food is pretty good friendly service clean atmosphere but being because it’s lunch time the service is a little slow especially when it’s busy, but usually I can get in and out within 40 minutes after placing order and be happy. I recommend this place highly and on average lunch you could spend about $ 20 for lunch they do have specials but I have a certain choice that I like and I kind of stick with it but for the most part I give it a 4 out of 5 stars

Pretty decent place for lunch. The menu is straightforward with lots of pictures. Portion size is a little on the small side compared to other places, but the flavor is pretty decent. Service fluctuates, but has never been bad. Have never had to wait for a seat, which is good at lunchtime.

It was not that great, they were out of a lot of fish, sushi was fishy tasting, and the server didn’t really get what we asked, we asked for napkins and it took 15 minutes so my mom went and got some from a near by empty table, not impressed

Got in at 11am and knew immediately I might have a wait: A customer and some staff were in the process of getting her catered work meals to her car. And it looked like it was a fairly large order. Lucky work place. Disclaimer: My reviews are skewed toward a better service experience because I come in at opening time or off-peak hours. There were a few other customers immediately after I was seated. I was given edamame, a tiny amount of ginger, soy sauce, and wasabi. And my water and Thai iced tea. I don’t know why a Japanese place would serve Thai tea, but I wasn’t complaining. Because of the catering going on earlier, I expected my meal to take a while. Other customers had their food brought out before mine, but I wasn’t getting just sushi. It’s been a while since I’ve had tempura vegetables, so I can’t remember if the veggies were always so huge. I could not finish them. They were decent, but I was never fond of tempura veggies. Sushi was great, but I’m no expert. After spending 4 years in a landlocked state wondering where Japanese restaurants source their fish, I am probably giving a higher rating for fresher fish than most people. There seemed to be only 1 waitress working when I was there a few weeks ago. They did have a sign out front looking for help, and I noticed that sign had been taken down a few days ago. When I was dining, it did seem a bit of a wait for my food. But I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt because I knew of the earlier catering order and that they seemed short-staffed at the time. Daily specials are available. Outside seating.

Our server was horrible. She seemed to barely understand any ounce of English. She didn’t bring us water until right before we left even though we asked for it. I got an Alaskan roll and it didn’t taste good. Fish didn’t seem fresh. I couldn’t eat my food. I ended up picking at it. My first and last time here.

This place is pretty decent. Nice outdoor sitting area with picnic area. Inside there are booths and tables. When I visited, there was an A rating by the health department posted on the door. All the food I’ve had here was good and as expected. It’s not so good that I will come back every day, but it gets you your Japanese fix. They have sushi, sashimi, salads, noodles. Next time I want to try the yakisoba. This time I got a double double roll and a Thai iced tea. Thai iced tea was as expected. Haven’t gotten the roll yet, but I have high expectations.

The place is nice a clean. Me and my big group(13 peoples) were sitting on the outside tables. Only 1 server helping us but she is so nice and very helpful. I think her name is Devi. Ask for her to be your server. :) The food are delicious and not so expensive. I live close by. I guess I’ll be coming her more often. Sorry wabba grill.

The best thing about Red Wasabi is its location. It is located in a shopping area near multiple medical plazas, which makes it a short distance to get some asian food. I usually go during lunch, and the place is busy but never super crowded. They have lunch specials, which is usually a plate of teriyaki chicken or beef, along with rolls and salad for ~$ 8 – 9. They also have daily specials depending on the day of the week. The food is decent, but not superb, and not very crave-able. But if you’re looking for a quick bite to eat, this place might be the right stop.

This is my first time here and I really love their prices and their food. They have daily specials and I had the shrimp tempura rolls and its was delicious and so filling. My daughter had the half chicken half beef teriyaki and it was a large serving. The only thing I did not like much was the inattentive servers. We were seating for a few minutes already before somebody came to our table to give us menus. And we were asked if we wanted miso soup for starters — is it free, does it cost something? But I will go back for sure, and yes our bill proves the miso soup was FREE.
