Manager please read: yes the people are fantastically nice. They are funny and courteous and sweet. they’re great! but they cannot make my drink the correct way in the morning at around 10AM. I want a whole milk«no foam and«no room latte. I get the same thing every single day and every single day I get a lot of foam and a lot of room in my cup… which is a lot of space in my six dollar coffee not filled up with coffee. I get a Venti and then I ask for an extra shot, but on the little sticker it says Venti latte«Triple». you see a Venti already comes with a triple shot, yet I pay for a 4th shot! $ 0.80and never actually get it the 4th shot because it says Triple on the sticker so the barista doesn’t know to make it a 4 shot latte. This coffee sits on my desk all day, I am in medical school, 3rd year, and I bust my ass just as hard as yall do but unlike them, I have to drink my coffee a little upset every single morning. on some mornings I do walk in and have them re-make it like I did today, and these mornings are the mornings I realize as I walk out I just paid for an extra shot and never got it.(not only is the latte very pale– it is also not strong either! which is why I want the 4th shot). I feel like Starbucks owes me $ 20 in extra shots of espresso. for real. *******Dude, in my line of work that’s like a patient asking for a very minimal scar when I sew them up. and then when they wake up they actually have an Iraq Afghanistan battlefield surgical wound scar! and yeah it may be a badass scar, but it’s not what they wanted… ya feel me?(btw, I’ll be 1st doctor in my blood line so please don’t read this thinking I’m some privileged little snotty brat because I can assure you I am quite the humble appreciative type. I even always insists they just scoop off the foam and add more milk because why waste? right! but they usually just make me new one despite my wishes and it’s still a little wrong) All I’m asking is for Whole milk– No foam — Latte. I know it’s weird, but foam is yuck to me. Lol. Before med school I was a barista for 4 years! I know you guys can do it right! Comm’on y’all! See you tomorrow. Bye:

Decent place. Not enough big tables for people who want to get some work done here though.

this was my first time at this location, little out of the way tucked behind. There was long line at 7.30am and my flat white was lukewarm not steaming like i expected.

It is located in the Lombard shopping mall center. My roomies and I stopped here before our class on a weekday morning and it was pretty busy but the baristas were working every hard to get our drinks in a timely manner. I noticed there were a lot of tables to sit around to study at. This is one of the bigger Starbucks in the area!

Holy guacamole! This Sbux was crawling with people around 10AM this morning. Lots of people in business suits with laptops, so it’s safe to assume a lot of business is being conducted here. I was still able to find a seat and it was still relatively peaceful. There’s also a small patio out front. The barista that made my drink was super friendly. I’m addicted to their shaken iced tea lemonades, so I’ve become a big fan of Starbucks lately.

One of the better Starbucks I go to. It’s always clean and they are always polite and welcoming. Also very quick. Nice indoor seating. Only 3 or so outside tables. This is a smaller Starbucks. No drive thru either.

They’ve recently updated the tables and chairs. I’m a fan of the new arrangement — maybe it’s more feng shui? Floor to ceiling windows cover 2 sides of this location. I may actually prefer the typical darker café feel which you get from the Starbucks a block away, further east, on Butterfield. Drinks and service — no complaints.

One of the quieter locations, I was surprised! It was a Thursday evening, but pretty subdued, which is always wonderful in my book after a day of work!

Just like any other Starbucks; most over rated coffee. The manager of this particular store was very rude and have no customer service skills. She had demeaning attitude. Will never go back to this store again.

My favorite Starbucks worldwide, is the one in the Ogilvie Train Station in Chicago. With Ny as Manager and 9 of the friendliest, hardest working barista’s you’ll find anywhere, they’re tough to beat. However, the train station is not always the place I’ll be when wanting a Cappuccino or Latte or Americano or Iced tea or that new almond croissant that is outrageously delicious. Thankfully, this Starbucks just gets better and better over time. Perhaps it’s due to their WIFI and student magnet — the place swarms with people at tables reading textbooks while on their laptops. Either way, the quality of the drinks has also gotten noticeably better as has their attitude. No snootiness, no lazing behind the counter looking pissed off. Just a bunch of friendly, accommodating baristas who actually seem to enjoy their job. The parking lot remains a mess, and even more so while we located in the middle of this polar vortex, but that’s certainly not Starbucks fault.

This is my starbucks du jour. I come here on my way to work. The staff is waaay too happy to help me get just as peppy as them. My only complaint is that the parking lot is a bit tight and there’s no drive through. I’m an American, therefore, I must have a drive through for all things.

The staff wasn’t entirely friendly, nor were they rude. But, definitely not chipper & happy like most Starbucks employees are. Also, this one isn’t a drivethru although it looks like it could accommodate one. It’s right next to the Jared’s jewelry store.

This certainly isn’t the warmest, most congenial Starbucks around. I can’t put my finger on why. The staff are efficient and the products consistent, but I never feel welcome here. I always wonder if perhaps the staff are unhappy. Maybe it’s the clientele. I’ve no idea. I do like the comfy chairs and big windows in this location. Parking is very easy. I only wish this location felt friendlier.

When it comes to Starbucks, you know what you’re getting. The menus at each franchise are just about identical, but there are distinct differences that make some branches more favorable than others. This review is meant to reflect what makes this Starbucks unique more so than the company as a whole. I find this store to be kind of «blah.» Nothing really special here, but with the quality products that I’ve come to expect from Starbucks. It’s one big room with some normal tables and chairs. Staff was fine, but not exceptional. My one complaint is that the music was turned up way too loud, making it hard to focus on my own work. For frequent coffee drinkers, I also strongly recommend pursuing a Starbucks Gold Card if you do not already have one. By simply reloading and reusing a gift card, you can easily reach Gold status. By doing so you get a free drink or food item after you’ve racked up 12 «gold stars»(items purchased).

I only stop at coffee places about once a week because A) I’m not really a coffee fiend(though I suspect, like my prior aversion to beer, this too shall pass), 2) I try to limit caffeine anyway, and Finally) Why pay $ 4 for something I can make at home with my own handy dandy blender? Might as well make it a little treat to myself. I popped in over here after an interview because I needed such a little picker-upper. The greeting was warm, the iced lattee cold, and the flavors nice. If I end up getting the job next door, I could see myself stopping over here a little more often.

I come here just to take a break from my workday, even if I already ate lunch or plan to eat lunch at my desk later. I never have a hard time finding a parking space, though I know it used to get much harder back when the space next door was occupied by a restaurant. The baristas are fast and precise, and lovely to chat with when they have the time. This location used to be full of folks using their laptops, studying, or grading papers, now, it’s mostly populated by networkers and mentor-pupil session people – which I absolutely find fascinating to eavesdrop on: P – so just be aware, it can get a little background-noise intensive. I love sitting facing the window and looking out towards the nearby restaurant and parking lot to detox from a busy day with one of my many favorite drinks at arm’s length on the table – and maybe a little yummy something to nibble on. Cheers!

I love Starbucks, but this place — not so much. The baristas are rude SOBs who think that I am inconveniencing them for ordering my usual — either a tall skinny cinnamon dolce latte or a venti ice coffee, black. I will drive the extra 5 minutes to go to the OakBrook Starbucks off of 22nd street just to not deal with the attitude of these employees. One night, I was studying late at one of the tables, and at 8:15 pm, they started flashing the lights to get guests to leave(and they close at freaking 9 pm). That same evening, one of the female baristas was also making out with some guy — right there off to the side where they have their mugs and tea pots for sale. Ugggh.

This is the closest one to where I live and the service attitude has always been surly, at best. I usually just get a grande bold, room. I feel as though I am inconveniencing them rather than requesting for a simple order. There are usually a few people sitting, some with laptops. There is often an interview or meeting taking place here due to the businesses nearby. Parking can be a little difficult at night because of the nearby restaurants. There’s a Caribou in Yorktown and another Starbucks on 22nd across from Home Depot. Unfortunately, this place is easier to get in and out of, but still not really worth it.
