CVS/Pharmacy

I am more than disapointed in the CVS in Lompoc. I’ve had problems with the lack of customer service at the Lompoc CVS for quite some time and have decided to pass it on. This morning I attempted to get through to a busy number at the Pharmacy from 9:30 am through 10:45 am. Finally an answer to get transfered to a representative of which I was on hold for another 45 mins. and the representative never answered and hung up immediately. So on my next call I called the Store line which was again busy for several calls auntil I was on hold again waiting for a representative to answer which never happened. I finally got so frustrated I drove to Santa Maria to get my prescription.

I dropped off a prescription at 3pm and engaged with a Pharmacist who told me it would not be ready until 8 pm because they were too busy and if I didn’t like that I could take it somewhere else. I left it there to be filled. I was still in the shopping center doing errands at 6:30 so I decided to go in and see if it was ready. The clerk at the pick up counter found prescription and proceeded to process me out. I asked her if it said on there the actual time it was filled and she said you were told it would be ready by 8pm. I said I was aware of that but did she know when it was filled. She said she could look in the computer but out of consideration for line behind me I told her that was not necessary. She told me to sign automated machine stating I was picking up correct medicine which I did and noticed my co pay was around $ 6 so I handed her a $ 20 bill and stepped back to put medicine in my purse. She said aren’t you going to pay for it and I said I’m sure I gave you $ 20 and looked in my purse to confirm to which she replied well don’t you want your change. I said of course now that you know I paid you. I told her I never encountered such rude employees in any pharmacy. She then began to repeat we are so busy and short handed. I told her the pharmacist I checked my prescription in to was equally as rude and it must trickle down to her. She gave me my change and told me to have a nice day and I told her I would never again use there pharmacy and I never will and I will complain about rude service to everyone I meet.

The people in the pharmacy are always so friendly, courteous, and helpful. They really make you feel important and normally get prescriptions out quicker than the time they quote. I highly recommend this CVS pharmacy!

Terrible customer service, they do not have prescriptions ready when they say they will and they do not call the doctor when they say they will. Pretty much they do not do what they say they will do. Also the staff is unprofessional and lacking in manners. Very disappointing

Store is kinda old and worn out, but it is huge and has just about everything. Checkout was friendly and efficient. Well done (for Lompoc).

Pharmacist Amir Zand was not helpful. Made rude and inappropriate comments when asking simple questions about my prescription. I will no longer be using CVS pharmacy for my prescriptions. I recommend others do the same.

I have to say, after spending so many years at a CVS in the Bay Area, frustrated all the time over the pharmacy never having my medications ready, I’m still not used to this store. They have had it ready every single time I have gone to pick up. Service is decent, although they seem like they could use a little extra help. Nobody has ever come up to me and asked if I needed help finding something, but that’s never happened at any CVS I’ve been to. Overall, I’m impressed.
