What more can be said about Florianos. This restaurant moved about 6 months ago from a smaller place. Places that suck can’t afford that. Florianos is a light years ahead of any other Mexican place in Lompoc. From their creative menu(QUESORITO) a burrito with a QUESADILLA shell, I mean how awesome is that. To their traditional«food truck» style tacos. Get it Florianos way with queso fresco(Mexican cheese), which a lot if not most other MEXI places around here don’t offer… what the heck?! My favorite part of Florianos is the staff is super friendly, and the meat they use never has any chewy gristle in on it like some other places. If I ever leave Lompoc, this will be one of the few places I will miss. 10⁄10.

Tasteless beef in the tacos. The taco shells were from a box and tasted like cardboard. Pretty sure the chicken was from a can. The guacamole was tasteless chunks of avocado mixed with pico de gallo. This is about as far from authentic Mexican as you can imagine. Hope you like your hot sauce really hot… at least it had flavor.

Very good Mexican food. Their sign out front is difficult to read from a passing car due to the rather florid font used, so you might pass right on by, but this restaurant is worth a visit.

So this is my first time eating here. My wife and I are picky when it comes to Mexican food. My wife had the chilli relleno burrito. She said it was average. Nothing special. The kids had the cheese quesadilla. It was surprisingly small. But it was very good. Very tasty. I had the manwich burrito. Damn that was an amazing burrito. One of my top ten burritos ever. I was so happy. Well I was upset cause it was home after I ate it. But this burrito was amazing. That’s the only word I have for it. We are very certainly going to eat there again. We took our food to go do no review on service. The gentleman that helped take order and pay was very nice. Till next time. I can only dream of this burrito. We don’t live in the area. We were just visiting family. Go there and eat. Great burrito.

Always a go to for Mexican food! I love the friendly atmosphere and being welcomed by name. It can get very busy so finding a seat can be hard sometimes but, really, is that a bad thing?

Best burrito in town. Be sure to have them stamp your burrito card or they can keep track in there register. After 10 your next burrito is free. A great local family as well.

Not impressed at all! Didn’t like it a year ago & still didn’t like it last night! And the service was horrible. I will not go back again. I do not recommend going!

My husband and I visited this restaurant last night! As we were looking for places near the hotel were were staying at. Wow! The food was ah-Maz-ing! I had the three soft taco platter with three different meats with the hottest salsa. It was super hot, but so tasteful! My husband tried the chicken enchilada platter. He loved it too. They also have one of those fancy Coca Cola machines where you customize your own drinks. Fun! A family oriented restaurant. It is also a butcher block where you can get awesome meats to take home. I was told by the staff they were sold out of their speciality dish BBQ Tri Tip(we arrived 30 to closing) so opted for the dishes they suggested. Customer service was above and beyond! We are going back again today. Ps: bathrooms are not that bad.

Always love there food, but I recently ordered a chile relleno burrito and I was disappointed when there was a small chile. Still has great flavor but don’t expect a big chile and if you do get one lucky you!

I called Floriano’s up last second from San Diego with a huge order for my family in Lompoc. Without going into much detail, the matriarch of our family is very ill and there was a lot of family there by her side. Floriano’s came through and the food was great. It’s hard to put anything less than a 5* rating on an establishment that is so accommodating with a staff that was top notch and professional. The community of Lompoc needs to continue to give this establishment their business. My wife and I will definitely visit and eat at Floriano’s when we are in town!

Floriano’s had a delicious selection of Mexican food. The service was outstanding. Our server Jonathon Rodriguez was attentive and prompt. The portions were large and equally tasty. We will definitely be back. I especially enjoyed the family like atmosphere which seemed to permeate through our entire experience.

This is the number 1 authentic Mexican food joint… anywhere. Anything on the menu you cannot go wrong! My favorite is the sopes and tacos. They have an array of salsa’s(if you like spicy try the green jalapeño salsa). Not only is the food amazing but customer service is too. They always go above and beyond! Thank you florianos for never disappointing!

I only go for the Asada fries. They do ask for tip when you pay at the register(before you get your food which I consider rude but that’s just me) no complementary chips, just salsa. Best believe I’m going to leave my plate so they can pick it up… I did just leave a 15% tip and all you did was bring my food to me. No check up or a goodbye/thank you when we left.

So I finally tried something different yay! I had the wet mild carne asada burrito. It was SOTASTY. What I really appreciated was the meat was not grisly or fatty like so often happens with carne asada. The ONLY mexican food restaurant I will go to in Lompoc. If you have never been, please try. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

I probably should have read some of the reviews before going here because I was a little surprised when we arrived at this restaurant(the fact that you order at the counter). The place was packed, which we took as a good sign. I had originally planned to try the«fillet mignon burrito» advertised on the window, unfortunately it was all sold out. The cashier recommended the BBQ Tri tip burrito, so I gave that a try. I also ordered the Asada fries as an appetizer for our whole group to share. The food was very good. There was something spicy in the burrito, so if you don’t do spicy you may want to ask about that or watch out for it(I thought it was delicious). The Asada fries were surprisingly good. The meet was so tender it would fall apart in your mouth and most of the fries were nicely crisp. Overall I think I enjoyed the carne Asada meat better than the tri-tip and would order that in my burrito if I were to do it again. Over all very good food!

With tons of competition for great Mexican food in town, this place has the best burrito. Large, full of flavor, tons of authentic options to choose from. Chile verde is fantastic, especially on the breakfast torta! Manwhich burrito, tacos de lengua, you name it, they’ve got it. Extremely friendly and convenient, family owned. Call it in or sit and enjoy. Lompoc loves Floriano’s.

This place is great! They are now open 6 days a week(Tuesday-Sunday). They are a butcher shop that makes burritos/tortas/tacos/etc. They do a Santa Maria style BBQ on tri-tip and prime rib. This BBQ is then added to the burrito … Amazing!!! Must try Enjoy

Usually pretty good. Tried the Cali burrito this time. Wasn’t that good. The best Cali burrito is a la unica in Santa Maria. Try it out sometime

What is all the hype? Didn’t know how to order, no sign and I could barely hear the cashier. Plastic cutlery, styrofoam plates, noisy. Only ordered some Super nachos to share. Meat dry, guacamole not fresh. Many better Mexican places in town. Maybe the butcher meat is good.

Went here for the first time last week after hearing«IT’S AMAZING» from all my friends… Got the sopes(menu states the order is for 3 sopes). I requested no salsa. When my food arrived there were only 2 sopes on the plate, and they SWIMMING in salsa. So, I went to the cashier and said«Excuse me, I only got 2 of my 3 sopes, and I asked for no salsa». He looks at me and says, «No, you asked for 2, I remember.» Then he turned and walked away. Food wasn’t good enough to make up for the shitty service. I would recommend La Michoacana over this place any day. PS bathrooms are nasty.

I’ve had a lot of Mexican food growing up living in California and dating somebody’s family who cooks authentic Mexican food… I was definitely let down by Florianos. I got enchiladas… And they were very dry. The meat was dry and over cooked. The tacos weren’t horrible but again the meat was dry. I went for the first time a d ordered pick up. I didn’t know if I had paid I could go straight to the pick up window(a sign maybe?)… So I waited in line patiently. By the time I got up there they were just calling my order. So it was supposed to be fresh. Anyway… Like I said I wasn’t really impressed which I was thoroughly bummed about. I miss good Mexican food.

I am a repeat customer and a huge fan. I came back recently to find that Floriano’s had moved. I panicked for a moment, but a calm washed over me when my Unilocal app showed the new address was just around the corner and down the street. Whew! The new location is bigger, brighter, and more modern. It is no secret that they had to move into a bigger place because they are a victim of their own success. There is a Mexican meat counter/butcher on site but the real reason to come here is the awesome food. The service is fast, prices are fair, and the people are super friendly. My favorite choice here is the carne asada burrito wet. If you can handle the heat order the spicy option. I’m thinking of excuses to drive 2 hours from home to come back again!

Tried 2 combos and both were pretty good. Had the carne asada which came with 3 tacos, rice, and beans. Also had a ribeye taco combo with all rice. Lastly, an order of their special of the day, some Posole. My sister had the carne asada and although it looked pretty dry, she said she thought it tasted great. I was hoping my ribeye wouldn’t have been as well cooked as it were. Also, one of my tacos were on the shorter end of getting an equal portion of beef. The Posole tasted amazing! Only regret was that it was not as hot(temperature) as I’d hope it was. More on the warmer side. Overall, definitely will be back. Glad to know there’s a pretty legit taco spot closer to the casa!

This place is really good the food is on point. We came back 2 days back to back because the food is good. Location is cool seating is a little weird but I’m sure it will improve. Their meats are cooked perfectly and fresh. I would recommend everyone to come give this place a shot. Good flavors. The dude that takes your order looks like post Malone(white iverson) LOL. Dude is awesome though.

I have eaten here twice: 1. the food is mediocre 2. the bathroom is dirty. Try Tortilleria La Reyna on Ocean. It’s way tastier, more authentic, and cheaper. Even though it’s divier, the bathroom is cleaner, too.

They just opened up at this larger location so they still have some things to learn but they are always honest with their customers(for example: minimizing waiting time while maximizing efficiency, fixing a squeaky door, etc. check their Facebook for updates). Honestly is something I highly value in a business. I’m not sure why some of these reviews are so negative. I don’t think these people realize that this is a family-run restaurant that went from serving from tens to hundreds of people over night. Give them a little slack and room to grow. Anyway, their food is just as delicious as it was before the big move! This family ALWAYS puts their customers first by listening to feedback and making changes happen. Lompoc asked for a larger location and now they have it :)

Great new location. Love the space. This business does a crazy amount of business and the guys are always friendly and helpful yes even at the new location. Just like the old location you order your food, find a table and they bring it to you. They now have the cool little buzzers and table numbers and such. I too am surprised by the negative reviews. We experienced nothing negative on our visit. Not all the remodel is finished yet either, There is plenty of seating 2 Coke machines they are constantly cleaning and refilling the the salsa bar and utensils etc. They do a much larger crowd of touristy people due to close proximity to hotels. We were given a tour of the yet unfinished banquet area and it will be absolutely amazing!!! This was a fabulous move! Don’t listen to the negative ninnies!

Fiorianos new location is very clean and huge compared to their old location. I don’t know why there are reviews stating the location is dirty and unorganized. When we walked in we were greeted and offered a menu. You order at the counter and they bring your order to your table. I had the shrimp ceviche tostada and the shrimp were fresh and perfectly seasoned with fresh avocado on top. My bf had the rib eye burrito and he said the steak was tender and the burrito had a nice spicy bite. We shared the asada fries and they were delicious as well. The food is fresh and flavorful and we only had to wait about 5 minutes for our food. They also have the new coke soda foutain which offers hundreds of flavor combinations as well as several flavors of iced tea and horchata.
