501 Pizza

Tried this joint on a recommendation from family members who live in the area. Food was very good. Anyone in the area should try the Italian sub! A+

Best Pizza in londonderry. Wish they were open on sundays, which is a day I frequently don’t feel like cooking.

Everything I get from here is amazing. Just about everyone I work with orders from here a least once a week. Huge variety of subs, pizza, soup etc! I will defentialy keep going here. Over and over again.

Unreal. This is not a pizza shop Italian sub Awesome. Plus owners are there often and very friendly. Out of there league.

I love this place. I’ve ordered from there twice this week. They have free delivery and are so nice every time I call. The food is delicious. I’m lactose intolerant but their pizza is even great without cheese! They also have amazing garlic knots and subs. I have not had a bad experience here. Thanks for the good service!

there was 12 of us so we decided to order from the 501, pickup not delivery. The food was fantastic, the cheeseburger was one of the best I had, not this thin piece of meat, a nice hunk loaded with cheese, onion rings were ordered as a side, not a fan of these kind of rings, I like the full onion slices breaded then fried. The salad with grilled chicken on it was plenty big enough with flavorful chicken. The chicken parm meal was good, plenty of pasta and great tasting garlic bread. The haddock dinner was a little dry, but the fries were good. Pizza was very good, some of the best in the area. Steak and cheese sub was good, plenty of steak and loaded with cheese. Will be going back again when in the area.

I have had take out from 501 Pizza twice now, and will continue to do so many more times in the future. The employees who answer the phone and work in the restaurant are incredibly friendly. The first time my husband and I ordered a crispy chicken cutlet sub, pastrami sub and spicy fries. Both subs were excellent. The fries were also great and the portion size generous. A small is more than enough for two people. The second time we ordered from 501, we had the meat lovers pizza. I really liked the crust, sauce and toppings. The restaurant itself is small and nothing special.

Amazing food and fast delivery. I had the chicken parmesan sandwich and it is literally the best sandwich I have ever had. The garlic cheesebread was wonderful as well. I was thrilled with how fast it got to me and how fresh it was. The lady that took my order was super friendly as was the delivery man. I will be sure to eat here anytime I am in town. Its a great change from your normal delivery food options!

This place is great. They have some crazy subs with names like «the Kamakazi» and «the bastard out of Carolina». You can tell that alot of thought goes into their food, at first you’ll say what were they thinking, a sub with sirloin tips, eggs, cheese, peppers and onions? Then you’ll try it and say what a great sub that was. Even their regular subs are good, substantial portions and fresh food. I would definitely recommend them.

Have eaten here many times. Never had a bad meal. In particular the roast beef is excellent. The subs are always generous in size and toppings. The pizza is good, nice crust. I tend to order my pie a bit on the crispy side with out any issues. Sauce is ok, plenty of cheese and not too oily… The portion sizes of sides like fries and wings is average. I feel the prices are in line with other shops. Staff has been friendly and place seems very clean. Worth a try if your curious.

delivered food cold. they did not deliver the drinks that i paid for. i called them 2 minutes after the place closed as i ordered late night and left a message letting them know along with my phone number. never got a call back apologizing and offering store credit or anything. the desserts (a cookie) inedible… had a nasty taste throughout it. the cheesecake was great once you cut away the outside layer and the side that faces out… it had the same nasty taste. their pasta was very good, but had to heat up in microwave… pass on the pizza too but was not inedible.

I order from here all the time. A great balance between good prices, food and service. Great menu variety for this kind of joint. Pizzas, subs, pasta, burgers… I’ve tried them all with success!

Amazing people. My mom went out looking for some late night food and although the owners were heading out for the night they went right back in and turned the machines back on to make us some food. Being 9 months pregnant, I was extremely fortunate she ran into some very pleasant people. The food was great, even at 1030pm. Thank you.

We ate this pizza at a friend’s birthday party. The pizza at the party was fine, however, one of the pizzas that we took home actually tasted like laundry detergent/​fabric softener. I am not kidding. We had to throw out the whole pizza. Whatever was in it was not edible for human consumption.

I come here at least once a week and grub on all there food! I’ve had there 501 grinder to there pizzas and pastas… Everytime I go in there they remember my name and there very friendly and do a great job and care about there customers! I’ll be there again next week!

Went here on a whim. plus I work 2 miles away. Ordered the Firecracker Sandwich … to my surprise. real chunks of Steak not the Shaved greasey stuff found in 98% of most sub shops. pretty simple sandwich but extremely tasty … In looking at their menu I noticed some pretty good combos I hope to try some more.

Situated amongst some of the more well known pizza-​based eateries in North Londonderry, 501 certainly holds its own. Its a family run pizza and sub shop with a pretty standard menu but with quick service, friendly employees and tasty food.
I’ve only had the buffalo chicken sub at this establishment, but its easily the best in town (its even better with grilled onions and peppers!). Other co workers of mine have expressed their liking of the chicken parm sub as well. I’ll update this review once I’ve had the pizza, which is next up on my list.
The one drawback to this little shop, however, are the flies. I noticed that there were a few of these critters flying overhead at my last visit. They didn’t seem to go anywhere close to the grills, but it was still a point of concern.
Edit: Finally had the pizza, and it was rather disappointing. However, the subs are still great. A co-​worker of mine ordered a Chicken Finger Sub with extra bacon and got what looked like almost a pound of bacon on his small sub no charge! Bottom line: Go to 501 for subs and chicken, but skip the pizza.

501 Pizza took over the former Guarracino’s Pizza, located in a small strip plaza (Plaza 28) at the Route 28/​Route 128 junction. This pizza and sub shop is owned and operated by a friendly couple. This place was renovated and it’s order at the counter with a cozy front area with table seating. They offer hand tossed pizza (by the slice or pie), pizza calzones, hot & cold subs, wraps, pitas, salads, pasta dinners, wings, cheesy bread, and other sides. Coke products are available. The prices here are reasonable and coupon specials are offered on the menu.
I had the pizza, which was pretty good with a thin crust, crispy & chewy, good sauce, and just enough cheese. I also had the Spaghetti with Red Clam Sauce Dinner ($ 6.99) served with a salad and hot garlic bread. The clam sauce was thick and rich and the spaghetti was cooked just right.
I’m thrilled to have another solid good option for pizza and pasta in the North Londonderry area.
