I called for a delivery the guy said about 45 min. I live 1.5 miles away. I called back and made sure they accepted debit card. He said no, only for pick up. So I pick my order up… Its way over priced… He wasn’t clear on the phone… I ordered a shrimp cocktail. It came in a huge cup with literally only 7 shrimps and a bunch of vegetables for $ 11.99 + tax. It was very plain. My caldo de pollo was okay and had a very very tiny piece of corn. Place is way too overpriced! They’re not clear on how much it would be over the phone… And poor quality of food.

First time eating here. I came with a couple of coworkers and was feeling Mexican food today. We decided to stop by here as it was recommended by another coworker. I had the cal asada burrito. Holy cow, it was the best thing I ate. It was fresh, I’ve had others but this one was the best so far. My coworker had the cal pastor burrito and she gave it a 10⁄10. My other coworker has the asada fries and he devoured that plate in a heartbeat. Definitely coming back as this is my spot for Mexican food. Best thing is they also serve breakfast!

I’ve been here more than twice. Dine-in and to-go’s. Everything I’ve had so far is GREAT. Cali-burrito, student price with a drink. Carne Asada tacos, splashed with their homemade salsas! and cilantro with the radish. Today, i’m trying their Menudo… Let’s see. I’ll come back for my review on that.

Ordered carnitas tacos and fried platanos. Both horrible The carnitas were extremely dry. The fried platanos were sitting in a bunch of oil. Literally took a tiny bite and tasted just oil. Made me feel sick to my stomach. They used to be good but after today’s experience neither me or our office will be ordering from here any longer.

Good food and great timing! For those of you non– Spanish speakers may have some trouble communicating with one of the ladies that work there but other than that. It’s worth it.

This place is sooo good! Why only a few stars? Oh well. I guess it’s good for those of us who like it and want it all for ourselves! Anyways… The first time I came here, I tried their tacos, burritos, and torta. I thought it was good, but nothing extraordinary. I liked the torta the best. Maybe the rest wasn’t all that, cuz we took it home to eat and it wasn’t super fresh. Pretty standard whenever you get take out. So we thought to try again. However, the next time we went back, we were both kinda sick. So take out again. This time we got the caldo de pollo to eat when we get home and I decided to get breakfast combo with pancakes for the next day. Let me just say, that for next day pancakes. they were the bomb! The caldo was good, but I wasn’t feeling well when I had it and I think everything tastes good when you’re sick. lol. But the pancakes were so good that it made me want to try it again. But this time we decided to eat there instead of to go. Best decision ever! There are so many to choose from. traditional Mexican food staples, burgers, breakfast, sandwiches, soups. I had a hard time deciding. I thought about the delicious pancakes again. They even have blueberry banna pancakes!(O_o) I’ll have to try it next time. I ordered juevos rancheros. sooo good! And so fresh! He got the caldo de res. Also sooo goood. Especially with their special«caldo sauce». To sum it all up, this place is awesome. If you disagree, cool with me. It’ll be my own little place to eat great food. I just hope they get more customers so that they don’t close on me!

Truthfully I didn’t like it. I wouldn’t recommend it, The food was sub par and the place looks a little run down. You could drive an extra 5 – 10 min and find a much better place.

They have great california burritos here and a speedy delivery service. The workers there are really nice and helpful. 3 brothers wasnt so popular here in the westside until last year in my opinion. I remember students from cabrillo would order here everysingle day for their lunch.(I was one of them) But anyways… if youre looking for a go-to mexican food joint. This is it!!!

PROS: –Excellent chile aquiles –Cheap breakfast menu –Quick delivery service –Decently priced CONS: –Outdated building –Inconsistency in the quality of food –Some of the staff aren’t familiar with the English language Tested Three Brothers on two separate occasions, one was a dine-in, and the other was through phone delivery service. Let me get this out of the way… their chile aquiles are TODIEFOR!!! This is the only reason why I find myself eating here. First time around, I was always curious about this place since I’ve heard about good food coming from this place and it was conveniently located a few blocks away from where I live. The restaurant was a bit run down and kind of hard to see, as the building looks like it was converted from an old house; the side patio to eat looks like it used to be a backyard with the back door attached to it. I walk in, the dining area was a bit cramped, and towards the front was a small 20-inch television mounted on the wall, adorned with medals and trophies(I think it’s from the family that owns this joint) won in years’ past. Kind of tacky, I thought, but whatever. I immediately placed my order, a California burrito(a local favorite), a plate of chile aquilles, a carnitas chimichanga, with a side of rice that came out to a total of $ 22. Decent priced. I ended up waiting for 20 mins and stood up three times before the hostess that took my order realized about my sense of uneasiness, and allowed me to pick a can of soda to drink from for free as a consolation(she first explained that the drink came with the chile acquilles, but later concluded that she just wanted to easy my anxiety of waiting for my food). After the food came and settling in, the California burrito was somewhat disappointing. The California burrito was nothing but two layers of tortilla, with loads of guacamole crammed inside with barely any meat in it. The rice was bland, and the meat in the carnitas chimichanga(which I ate later on that night) tasted like it was in boiling water with barely any seasoning in it. The in-house salsa didn’t help either, as it was way too watery and barely had any spice in it; had to use the Tapatio they had in hand to enjoy my food. I summed up my first experience like that kid looking around for an ice cream shop on a hot summer day with his last dollar to spare, only for that scoop of ice cream he can afford to slip off and fall to the ground right before he could enjoy it. Yes, my first visit here was THAT disappointing. Second time around, it was the night of the Stanley Cup Finals(don’t know which game), and was craving for some Mexican food. Three Brothers came to mind and I decided to give them a second shot, but this time, over the phone. From the get-go, I knew the guy that picked up the phone didn’t know what he was doing and was only there for the sake of flying by through the day. I kid you not, it took me a good two minutes to repeat my phone number and address to this guy in English, right before I decided to speak Spanish and he completely understood what I said after the first time. Don’t know why he is the one picking up the phone, but whatever. I ordered the chile aquilles along with the carne asada dinner plate, that came to about $ 14. No complaints here. The guy told me that the order would take about 10 – 15 minutes before arriving, and lo and behold, the guy showed up in my front door in eight minutes. Quick delivery service, gotta give Three Brothers that. I settled down and ate while I watched the game, and concluded that this second round from Three Brothers was better than the first. The chile acquiles was perfect and enjoyed every part of it, and the carne asada was spectacular! The meat was well seasoned and juicy and the guacamole/salsa that came with it perfectly paired with the meat. The tortilla they give with the carne asada was huge to, which was to my compliment. I had a good night, the Kings won, and I was set for the rest of the night. Overall, Three Brothers is a good joint to grab a bite if you happen to live around the area. I don’t suggest dining in as the room is cramped and, for some reason, the order takes longer to come through than it would if they delivered your food to you. Since my first visit, i’ve eaten at Three Brothers six times, and in each of my visits, the chile acquiles was spectacular, while the main course was inconsistent. I, personally, would try Three Brothers again, but it is not on top of my list when I want Mexican food.

Not a bad spot. I dig it! In the summer they ran a special two burritos for $ 8.00 Special. The California Burrito here in actually VERY good and the French Fries are nice and crunchy. Like Potato chip county. I personally wasn’t keen on the banana split. The ice cream they topped it with was no good. But the word is for this place GREAT California Burritos! Try it!

I wanted to like this place, even love this place, but I can’t. This may be because I live no more than a block away and have passed by multiple occasions. I’ve even seen it on its grand opening. I am sad to say that in the time they’ve began until most recently I’ve never even tried the food. One day day my fiancée, father and I decided to go for it and why not at least try 3 Brothers Authentic Mexican Grill and support the local small businesses within our own community? Who knows? Maybe we will have a ‘usual’ place to go to no more than a block away. I’m sad to say that we all agreed that the food wasn’t good. Let me give you the overall experience. We ordered to go by calling in an order. I ordered the Carne Asada Plate, my fiancée the enchilada plate, father ordered the Carne Asada Burrito. The lady who took our order was great. The Carne Asada plate comes with a choice of Tortillas(corn or flour), but we didn’t know. She called us back and asked which of the two we wanted. The order was projected to take approximately 10 minutes, and in those 10 minutes, she also called us back to let us know the order was ready. It was unexpected but appreciated. When we arrived to pick up, the inside décor and furniture is a bit hodge podge but we didn’t care, we just wanted to pick up some good food! But if it makes a difference, from picking up food, I’d say the place looked clean. One thing I found odd was that 3 Brothers also serves, Hamburger & cheese burger combos, a kids menu with chicken nuggets and macaroni and cheese. Maybe that’s just me? When we came home, we tried the food. Carne Asada Plate: The meat flavor is blant, little to no flavor and it was definitely over cooked and very tough. I couldn’t even cut the meat with the plastic utensils that they provided. The rice that came with my plate was very dry and the lettuce was the standard iceburg lettuce with next to nothing pico de gallo. I’d say it was at the most a tablespoon of pico de gallo. The guacamole they provided was also around the same quantity of pico de gallo. The corn tortillas that I selected for my meal was very warm, which I loved, but also on the dry side, which I didn’t love. Bummer! I guess the star the meal was the beans, which wasn’t on the dry side. Enchilada Plate: We ordered this to have Chicken in it. The Enchilada was sparse in sauce and the chicken within it was dry and of no flavor. It tasted as if it were cooked with no other ingredients to enhance the flavor. This meal also came with the standard items that I’ve already mentioned above, rice, iceburg lettuce, no more than a tablespoon size of pico de gallo and sour cream(also a tablespoon size). Carne Asada Burrito: I knew my father didn’t like it when he didn’t even bother to finish all of his food after 30 minutes. That’s a long time for him considering if he likes the food, the faster he finishes it. Still, I asked him what he thought about it, and in his response was, «It’s too dry and for 5.25, it’s somewhat small burrito. If I knew it was going to taste like this, I would of just eaten the frozen burritos I have in the freezer.» Like I said in the beginning, I wanted to like this place or even love it. But no matter how nice the service was, the food just wasn’t up to par with other Mexican restaurants I’ve eaten. 3 Brothers, even though you are no more than a block away, I’d much rather drive a few miles for better prepared and tasting food. I can only hope that if others feel the same way about the food, that these reviews can be taken to heart and improve what 3 Brothers may be lacking.

Came to try this new place that recently open. I purchase 3 carne asada tocos for $ 1.50 each. Tacos were small and only one tortilla. Small portion of pico de gallo too on tacos. I think $ 1.50 is too much for small tacos. My friend got a carne asada plate too and he said the meat was over cooked. Do not think I will be back.
