Great place to get a battery. 4 stars because they quoted one price and gave another when I showed up but I had no issues with getting the problem fixed fast and customer service was great! Very helpful and nice staff. Thanks guys!

After borrowing a loaner battery, I was disappointed to discover that my battery that was being recharged was dead. At that point Alex, one of the managers basically spring into action, he set me up with a new battery with great customer service at a prorated price. I’ve been coming here for years and have been satisfied every time, and with employees like Alex, battery systems will continue to have my business, just a solid operation overall, just make sure you keep your receipt

These guys are honest and awesome! Called today with a dead battery and they fixed up my car and I was on my way! I spoke with Alex on the phone and he answered all my questions, gave me a great deal. I would definitely recommend!

Ron was a great help! I made my way in after struggling to get my car started. I was on a limited budget and he got me a used battery at the best price with a 6 month warranty, so I knew I wouldn’t have to be paying for any defects. He even installed it for me. Ron was very courteous and careful in helping me with my options. I would highly recommend Ron and the business he represents!

I just got my battery replace by RON real good guy ask for him if you need help … I pulled up he greeted me with a good morning and was great with his customer service and advice on what I should get thank you Ron.

Honest! Came in with a bad battery. Service person pointed out the battery was provided by another outfit and probably under warranty. He was correct. Even allowed me to use their business location to have that warranty upheld by the other company! Treated honestly and with respect. Awesome!!!

Called all the auto parts stores in the area and no one had my battery except the Toyota dealership. On my way to the dealer and I pass by this place. Drove in just to see if they had my battery and Tai– the friendliest and most efficient technician– helped me fit in a battery nearly 2 inches bigger than my dead one because the one I needed was $ 200 at the dealer and I wasn’t fit to pay that. It actually worked perfectly and I was able to save myself $ 30 plus any additional service fee the dealer would have likely charged me. This place and the guy who helped me– Tai– is fantastic. Will come here again!

HOORRRRIIIBBLLEEEE! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME! I have gone to them 4 times over the last year! & every single time their batterys have gone bad! (2 differnt cars) both bmws on top of that I had to take my last beamer to the mechanic which told me that due to thier inferior battery my airbag suspension malfunction! 800 dollars later my cars back to order all could have been avoid if they sold proper battery!!! Pls BEWARE!!! THEY WILL NOT REFUND!

Needed a battery for my car, and everywhere I called was going to cost me over $ 100. Called these guys, and told me I could get one for $ 65. With a 5 year pro rated warranty. I went down there, they opened at 7:30am and was on my way in 15 minutes.

Update!
After being a good Samaritan and helping someone jump their car my referb battery died… lol. I should’ve know. Luckily I had my receipt still on me and headed over to Battery Systems to get help. They did everything for me free of charge and they also tested the «new» refeb battery and made sure it was a good one. I have had no problems since (knock on wood) and highly recommend this guys! Amazing!

So here’s how it begins… again. One neglected 1930 Model A Ford (lovingly referred to as Grandma) has not been driven in six months. I try to start Grandma on Friday afternoon because I am supposed to drive her in the Veteran’s Parade with Friends of Long Beach Animals the following day. I step on the starter button (yes…I said step on it… because the starter button is on the floor) and Grandma goes «Wuuuuuh, wuuuuuh» and she’s DONE trying to start. Out comes the 9 volt battery (which is installed under the floorboard in front of the driver’s seat!) and off I go to Battery Systems for some battery testing/​therapy.
Battery Systems advertises itself as «The Single Source Solution!» and there is truth in that slogan. These guys are the BEST. I have been buying batteries from (and having batteries revived at) Battery Systems for close to ten years. Grandma only gets driven a few times a year and sitting around is really hard on her battery. The current battery was only six months old. I use a Battery Minder trickle charger in between trips but I often (read mostly) forget to check/​replenish the water level in the battery on a monthly basis. This time I forgot to check the water level for SIX MONTHS (!) So, when I arrived a Battery Systems, friendly serviceman Mike checked/​tested Grandma’s battery and found (1) it was only producing about 6 out of 9 volts and cranking power was gone and (2) the Battery Minder had «cooked out» almost all of the water! Mike put water into the battery, hooked it up to their commerical battery charger and told me to come back the next morning. Battery Systems opens at 9 a.m. on Saturdays and I was supposed to be in the Veteran’s Parade lineup by 9:30, so I offered to bring donuts in exchange for a prompt battery pickup. Get me to the parade on-time…or something like that. Mike said he would pass the request to his manager and off I went.
Fast forward to 8:45 a.m. on parade day. I am waiting at the Battery Systems gate with a pink donut box in hand. Matt, the manager, arrives a few minutes later and lets me into their building… before they are even scheduled to open. He tests Grandma’s battery and finds that it is producing 9 volts as designed but the cranking power is not 100%. Before I can even ask, Matt says that he is going to replace Grandma’s battery (the one that I neglected/​cooked for six months) with a NEW battery. Perfect: no worries about getting Grandma started for the parade. When I ask Matt how much I owe him, he says «NO CHARGE», I say «ARE YOU SURE???» and he says «YES» and I say THANKS!!!” A few minutes later the paperwork is done and at 9:01 a.m. I am headed for home. I put the new battery in Grandma, reinstall her floor board, metal covers and floor mat, step on the starter and «WOO, WOO, WOO» and Grandma springs to life… for the first time in six months… and off we go towards the parade. Grandma makes it a couple of miles and dies on the edge of a busy intersection due to carburetor and generator cutout problems. (It’s always something in this life!) I push Grandma to the side of the road wait ten minutes, push the starter rod and Grandma prings to life again… but she is not running right… so we limp home and my 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee gets to be Grandma’s stand in at the parade.
Very long story short: if you ever need a battery, then RUN to Battery Systems in Long Beach. I’ve been doing business with them for ten years and have probably bought four of five batteries from them. In between buying new batteries, Battery Systems revived Grandma’s batteries five or six times. They offer prompt/​friendly service, reasonable prices and a great warranty/​exchange policy. They have every size and shape of battery that you can imagine. Thank you Matt and Mike! You and your co-​workers at Battery Systems are THE BEST!
