Betsy’s Cake Center

This is the worse cake place we have ever dealt with. We organize functions and picked this place to see how it is. These guys made the cake with wrong colors, wrong look etc. More than anything the cake’s started cracking n one side came down crashing. Disaster right before the party. More than anything these guys r not willing help us at all. No refunds nothing. Worse customer service ever. Had to wait more than 1.5 hours to pick up the cake n this is what we get.
I will never do business with them ever.

These guys made a cake for my daughters Bday party and it was excellent. I was calling all the major super markets for a Minnie Mouse cake and for the life of me got terrible help and was always told they had to order the pieces for it blah blah blah. Found these guys and they designed the prettiest Minnie mouse cake and it was absolutely delicious.

I’ll never do business with these people again. Went to order my ¼ sheet cake that was Despicable Me theme for my daughters birthday. Found this place on the internet. First of all, it was very difficult to find this place for some reason (not only for me but for my cousin as well). When I called to ask for directions, there was a major language barrier that made things more difficult and frustrating for me. When I came in to order with my kids, the guy seemed nice enough. He offered my children some merengue to try. The lady (his wife probably) took my order and acted as if it was a new concept? She had to ask him (the owner) how much everything cost?! The guy quoted me on the phone $ 36. But for some reason, it went up $ 5 to $ 41 for a ¼ sheet cake! And the lady made some kind of remark «oh, must cost more because of the frosting». Umm, I order a chocolate cake with whipped frosting and chocolate filling. Nothing fancy or that took a lot more work than the other flavors. I know that that Albertsons or Von’s wouldn’t charge me extra for chocolate filing or whipped frosting! I just went with it since I couldn’t find any other despicable me cakes and I didn’t have the time or the patience anymore. I asked how much deposit I should put down. They said «whatever you like». I should have said $ 5! But I put $ 20 down.
Anyways, what was really irritating was that on the day of my party, I called them to ask if the cake was done. I put down a pick up time of 12pm, but it wasn’t ready and it took the owner about 10 minutes of fumbling over the phone to remember what kind of cake I had, what name, time of pick up, etc. I told him that my cousin would be picking it up at around 3pm. He said okay. Well, my cousin got stuck in traffic and it was 3:30 pm. The owner called me and said that he was going to close! He never told me that he would be closing early that day. And he was so rude about it. He asked me if I wanted to pick it up the next day and I was like, uh no! I need it for today! He told me «I’ll only stay 5 – 10 minutes after 4 and that’s it!» Wow, that’s great customer service for you!
To sum it up, rude, sketchy, not worth the trouble, and they’ll take you for a ride with their high prices. I do not recommend this place at all. I’ll go to Von’s next time!

These guy’s make the best Chocolate Fudge Cake!!! Easy to talk to. Just tell them how you want in it. I miss the Betsy’s in L.A. Seeing the new person running this place with a great attitude, unlike the past Lola’s. Sorry Lola. My order every month: 1 Chocolate Fudge Birthday cake with Chocolate Fudge filling in the middle. It is awesome! No more Goldilocks or Red Ribbon! Oh yeah their Pandesal is great too!
