Okay– I have to confess. I only stopped here because I’m immature and every time I see the name of this bakery I smile. :) That said they have coffee and pan dulce so how can you not be happy with this? Not the most amazing I’ve ever had of either but probably the best of all the surrounding options. I really liked the mini pineapple(pina) empanadas. They also have tamales which look good, but I don’t do manteca so I had to pass. If you are driving down PCH and you need a quick break it’s a good stop.

Recently moved to Long Beach, and as a person whos cultural background is Mexican, Pan Dulce(sweet bread) is very important. So I began the search and came to find delicious pan dulce less than a mile from my house. Everytime my cousins come to visit me they have to go there. We think that this pan dulce is the closest(that we have tried) to pan dulce we’ve had in mexico. Delicious and always fresh. I have been there several times and everytime, Yayo has something comin out the oven. Another plus is the service. Nice and inviting. But Im not gonna lie. Even if the service was bad, I would still go there. And good service is sooooo important to me. Definitely worth checking out!
