Carl’s Jr.

They don’t pay attention. They gave me famous star with cheese after i asked them without cheese. They wasted my time because i had to return and get new ones. They did not admit their mistakes or make amends. They suck. The time was sept 26, 2015 around. 6pm-6:10pm. They suck

Just bought dinner here. What the heck is this?!? We ordered Chicken Tenders. What we got was a sponge-​like substance that is orange, deep fried in breading!!! GROSS!!! Not even edible. Yeck! Not to mention that the «3 piece» came in 6 tiny pieces that has so little chicken and so much breading in each piece.
We can’t even figure out what this stuff is!
And to top it off, they gave me the wrong burger. I ordered a Turkey Burger and got a BBQ Chicken Sandwich.

My bad experiences were a few months apart. The first time I went into this location they were taking forever with my order. Im usually very patient since I know working in a restaurant can be a pain sometimes (I speak from experience) however, I realized that 30mins had gone by and everyone that had ordered after me had received their food. I went up the counter and I told the manager (Juan) that it had been 30 mins since I ordered and hadn’t received a thing. He looked so frazzled and eventually told me they had given the order to someone else. Why in the world did they do that? I have no clue. He offered no apology however, he eventually got my food to me. Now for today (August 23, 2015) I figured why not give them a 2^nd chance. There was a long line and only one person ringing people up. After about 10 mins in line the employee and once again the manager Juan had not told anyone that the credit card machine was down until people were reaching the counter. However, when I got to the front counter I ordered and I asked the employee if the machines were still down to which he replied «I can try to see if they’re working again» and luckily they were working again. So i paid with my card and waited for my order… a really long time however, not as bad as the 30 mins from my previous visit. Once I got the order, it was all wrong and it was nothing that I had ordered. I told the employee who brought it to my table and he was nice enough to change it (hey mistakes happen.)I get the food and the meat felt like it wasn’t the right temperature however, I figured meh i’ll eat it. Later in the evening, I get home and decide to check my bank account when I realized that they had charged me the same amount on my card 5 times! Which means I paid $ 60 for one burger! I called and I had a hard time getting through to Juan whom didn’t seem understand anything I was talking about. He said he couldn’t help me with what happened and now I have to go through my bank so I get refunded for the $ 60 just for THEIR mistake. Juan kept telling me that he wasn’t a manager (even though he had just told me he was) and once again offered no apology… this is the last time I go to this place. Please hire competent people to work… we deserve some good customer service even for a fast food restaurant.

Service was really bad. It took 20 min to get our order and it was wrong. It looked like if they were short staffed and kept getting other people orders wrong too. Quality of the food was good though.

Friendly and courteous service. Would return with our family again. Kid’s are all having a safe and fun time.

Gross! We witnessed a female employee with white & purple died hair (not that it matters) enter a bathroom stall, stay in there a while & then exit & NOT wash her hands! Several children witnessed this & said out loud «hey, she did not wash her hands!» It was loud enough for the employee to hear as she exited. Yet she walked on. I confronted the manager & he said «oh I’ll go get her.» Indicating a direct confrontation between me & the employee. I said «no, you need to deal with it & she needs to wash her hands.» He again tried to tell me to wait while he got her. I again said I don’t want to talk to her, I just wanted it known that we witnessed this & it’s not okay! Finally he got it & said he would talk with her… I doubt that happened. 5 minutes later she was handling cash at the register… YUCK! I am never going here again!

In my mind, Carl’s is the best fast food chain above everyone else. Their burgers are tastier, large and fairly priced. Having said that, there are so many Mom and Pop hamburger shops in Long Beach. Why would you even go to a chain? I guess you go to the ones opened 24 hours and for the quick breakfast sandwich. That’s this place for sure. Every time I go to the Edwards Movies here, I stop by Carl’s and get a breakfast sandwich. It’s much cheaper than movie theater food and better and much much cheaper.

Since Carls is rather busy since iits in the Long Beach Town Center so experiences will vary to what time you go. I usually go here at 12 when its a little busy but they are well staffed. I came here once at 3 and they were behind on orders. I had to wait 5+ minutes just to put in my order. When theres a line out for drive thrus they get prioity for some reason. Food is good and consistent so I can’t complain about that. Overall its good fast food but just come at the time when they’re not so busy.

So i came to this location because it is near my house. And i was craving something from carls jr. Any who, she asked me if i wanted to try the new blabla but she sounded sooo bored and sooo rude and even more with her voice she does not want to be there. before i ordered i kinddly asked the cashier in the drive thru if i was able to pay with large bill because thats all i had on me. She said no but she said it with an atitude and Told her to give me a second while i sked my friend what she wanted and i told her no thank you i dont have any other bill so as i was driving away from the window she was making like a wtf hand gesture with her coworker. So rude :/​this was at 12:05 wed night

I haven’t eaten at a Carls Jr. for a long time — which explains why I was fumbling at the counter — — I couldn’t figure out what I wanted, couldn’t find the kids’ menu, lol. The girl working the counter was so sweet and patient, like she couldn’t imagine doing anything better than standing at the register helping someone lost looking at a fast food restaurant menu!!! …and for that I am appreciative… oh and for the fact that she didn’t mind my son coming behind the counter like he owned the place!
SO — the people that work here have some mad customer service skills.
We got a MEATLESS «burger» — — order it my vegan friends (no mayo, no cheese) you will be surprised! We also got onion rings (not too good) and fries (great!!).
Bathrooms were clean — as much as can be expected for a fast food place
They also have a gated play area for the kids with (shaded) tables near the play area. The area has mats and slides and a tunnel and a climbing thing — it’s wonderful — my son had a blast and so did the other kids in there — and I didn’t have to worry about the kids leaving or someone coming in to the area unnoticed.
Kudos to CJ for having a secure safe play area.
Overall: we will be back again to play!

Don’t have any real complaints. I ordered quickly and was served pretty fast too. Food was good and they accommodated my request for no buns. Only weird thing was the $ 1 charge if you choose to use your card as a debit instead of credit. *shrugs*

Slow service. Waited five minutes for a cashier to take my order, and waited a few MORE minutes for my order to be made. How long does it take to make one order of chili cheese fries? Also, while I’m waiting for my food, I hear some of the customers using profanity in a loud tone and the workers pass by and don’t even say anything. Two stars cause it’s by my work.

Worst customer service through the drive thru… a guy asked me to back all the way up and then come back through because we were three feet away from the window when I had already handed him all my money and my change easily… so we did and then he insinuated that we were drunk when I have my little sister in my car… not only was my experience embarrassing but it was thoroughly inappropriate.

Who wants straight cut boring fries when you can get criss-​cut fries? Yeah, me!!!
Like Mikey D’s, Carl’s is a good ‘olé staple fast/​junk food restaurant you can always count on to add a few pounds in one serving; and that is why I try to limit my visits to once every 6 months.
I usually stick to the jalapeño burger and criss cut fries, anything more and I have to be running and extra hour each day for a month.

service is amazing. the workers are funny and always give service with a smile. The food is great because its actually close to what it looks like in the pictures. The best thing to order for breakfast is the 2 for 2.22 biscuits. For lunch/​dinner 2 for 3 famous star combo.

I love Carl’s Jr food, but this location is THE WORST for service.
Twice I have ordered fries, only to find that they neglected to put them in my bag. I learned after the first experience to check before I leave the drive through.
And WHERE did the fried zucchini disappear to? They took them off the menu. I’d like to start a worthless online petition demanding that zucchinis return to their proper place, next to vats of ranch dressing.
The Six Dollar Guacamole Bacon Cheeseburger is divine. So is the Santa Fe Chicken Sandwich. That’s pretty much all I order from their menu.
They have these nasty little breakfast biscuit sandwiches that I once tried. I almost choked to death from the dry, crusty hard bread. Disgusting bit of business, that.
When it comes to fast food, however, I’ll opt for Carls. Meh.

I like going to this specific Carl’s Jr because it’s way better than the one Downtown. No homeless people panhandling. The restrooms, seats, and tables are surprisingly clean for a fast food restaurant. The soda fountain are easily available for whenever you want to refill your drink. The food tastes delicious just like it should taste. Avoid the Carl’s Jr that is Downtown and come to this one.

Today, I get to write my first negative review. Thank you Carls Jr. This Carls is close to where I live, it’s convenient. Or, shall we say, it used to be convenient.
After waking up from my mid-​evening nap, I feel the cravings for some food. It’s 1am. Several 24 hour places come to mind. 2 miles later, I get to Carls and order a guacamole burger and root beer. The root beer is good, I bite into the burger thinking I’d get a taste of spicy guacamole, WTF? Mustard and ketchup? No cheese? I look at my receit and see I paid for guacamole and cheese.
I drive the grueling 2 miles back to Carls and talk to the guy at the drive through. By the way, he was rude too. I tell him I had received the wrong order. He looks at me and then the screen that shows the order I placed. Apparently no one else had placed an order in the 5 minutes that I placed my order, because my order was still on the screen. He tells me what I ordered. I’m thinking I know wtf I ordered. Don’t treat me like an idiot. I didn’t feel like getting back in my truck and driving back to return a burger that wasn’t the one I ordered.
He tells the lady in the kitchen to make another burger. I get the burger, check it. It’s a guacamole burger. I drive home, open the box to take a bite. Motherf#$$*#g, the bun must have been 5 days old. It was old chewy and shrunken… NO I AM NOT GOING TO DRIVE BACK AND RETURN THE BURGER.

You know I like Carl’s soemtimes. it’s not always the best sometimes but their bacon western burger usually shuts me up pretty fast.
I went to grab something to eat this morning and I bit into my sourdough breakfast sandwich and there was no sausage in it. I opened it up and the sausage lookes like it was something that was cut off of a Jimmy Dean sausage tube. it ws smaller than the usual large patties that I have seen in the past. Where is the rest of the damn meat?
As if that wasn’t enough, part of the bread was hard and hurt like hell when my temporary crown bit into it.
I am iffy on a return here.

Weak… weak… I feel so weak. Must get sustenance! Must get a charbroiled burger stat. I am fading!
It was 1 o’clock yesterday when my pregnant craving kicked in. I was feeling famished and tired. I needed sustenance or a Carl’s Jr. Famous Star with cheese and fries PRONTO! My pea pod was telling me, «Hurry Up, ma! I’m hungry! Feed ME!!!» I dropped into Carl’s and ordered a combo meal. I made myself an Arnold Palmer (half ice tea, ½ lemonade over ice), from the drink station. I was parched and needed a cold drink and food FAST. I needed to appease my baby’s hunger stat.
Oh, man! This burger… the minute it arrived… I pulled back the wrapper and dove right in. That first bite was hedonism at it’s finest. The meat juices burst into my mouth, as the Carl’s Jr. secret sauce intersperse and coated my taste buds with hickory relish. That first bite was heaven on earth. I was looking to chase the dragon then after, but that first bite couldn’t be recreated. Oh-​well. I finished that yummy burger and accompanied it with the new Carl’s Jr. fries which come now with the skin on. I prefer these new fries to the old ones. Much more crispy and longer to nosh on. These fries compliment the burger nicely. My cheap, unhealthy lunch was just what a pregnant momma needed. I walked out and noticed another pregnant momma walk-​in as I was leaving. I wanted to wink at her and say, «Oh-​Appeasing the pregnant craving, huh? You go, momma!»
Carls Jr. … I can’t pass it up. From all the fast food joints in America… Carls and In-​N-​Out, I can’t ignore. I just wish they would bring back their salad bar. I miss those salad bar stands they use to have for us health nut customers.
