I went in to get a large order of fries and they gave me the fries but they were crusty ass f***. Totally not cool I expect better service next time I go there

I was recently in the drive-​thru at this location, with four cars in front of me, for over 25 minutes. From the moment I ordered until moving ONE space was, I’m not exaggerating, 18 minutes. This was on a weekday night, about 7pm. Four cars in 25 minutes is not acceptable in any way.

I don’t often go to Del Taco but I had coupons and wanted to get some food here for some quick bite. The service is is hit or miss but its usually decent, which is the best thing about this Del Taco. The food here is generally flavorless, that’s why they have sauce packets on every table there. For some reason this place is quite busy with lots of people eating inside I never understood that since the food is just meh at best.

Nasty! Found a giant hair in my burrito! They didn’t even refund all my charges!

I was reflecting in their drive through today how hard the attendant works and what a great job he was doing for probably less than he deserves

The hubby and I needed a quick and easy dinner last night so I decided to stop by the closest Del Taco to get a couple of their Epic Carnitas and Papas burritos. Del Taco isn’t one of my favorites for fast food, but I do enjoy their carnitas, which is only offered for a limited time (so go now before they’re gone!).
The Epic Carnitas and Papas burritos are huge and filled with their tender carnitas (braised shredded pork), crispy french fries, pico de gallo salsa, guacamole, and sour cream. Topped with a little of their inferno hot sauce, and you’ve got some good eats. On the more expensive end as far as fast food goes ($ 5.29 each), but they are super filling, large and in charge.
The employees here aren’t the friendliest, and the wait time in the drive-​thru last night was awful (should have just gone inside and ordered). But this location is pretty standard except for the fact that it’s located within the Long Beach Towne Center which has THE WORST LAYOUT of all shopping centers, ever. Getting in and out of this center is torture (see my review of the LBTC), but Del Taco is on the edge closest to Carson St., so that makes the ordeal of getting in/​out of this place a little easier.

Del taco kids meal toys are really disappointing. A bird feeder really. They need to step up their game. The cali epic burrito was amazing though.

Better than Taco Bell, worse than hole in the wall grub… my preference for «fast food» Mexican!

I wanted to try one of those new bowls they have here. I like bowls, it’s a meal in itself and I saw an ad that they were under 5 dollars and your get a free drink, great deal!
I’m not fond of this location because it’s in the dreaded Long Beach Town Center but away from all the traffic and chaos so it’s good.
Location is clean and here is lots of parking. My bowl was ready in about 7 minutes which was good cause I was in a hurry.
I got the southwest bowl and it was delicious. plenty of roasted corn just how I like it. give it a shot, it’s good.
I almost gave 5 stars but I gave 1 less because my cashier was sort of rude to me. eye roll and weird rude look. she had super long fake eyelashes and too much makeup, no bueno.

I love going there for breakfast. Both the egg and cheese burrito and bacon and egg quesadilla are good, filling and inexpensive. Like the combos.
This is one of the cleanest Del Tacos I’ve found. The people are reasonably friendly and they have yet to get my orders wrong.

Went through the drive thru one evening. The girl who took our order was impatient sounding and tried rushing us through as quick as possible.
Service through the drive thru was slower than average.
The food was decent however. The churro in particular was perfect. The real lemonade was refreshing as well.
My friend ordered the burritos and said they were adequate. Typical fast food faire

We just moved to the area and have been to this del Taco 2 times for the egg and cheese burrito and they don’t put very many eggs in the burrito as compared to other del tacos and today they’re out of mild sauce. And they had no change. Really? This place needs a manager we won’t be back it’s a shame too we love those burritos.

Standard Del Taco service but being in town center it gets a bit crowded.

There are a couple of Del Taco locations that I have had to call the corporate office to report irresponsible food prep or service — and this is one of them.
I’ll get around to posting pictures of why I called to complain.
But for anyone going to this location, be prepared to check your food before you leave the drive-​thru. And I’m not saying do an «item count» to make sure you have everything.
I’m saying open each item up to make sure there is more than a teaspoon of food in your item.
Hard to believe? I’ve had 2 occasions where the items I’ve ordered have been in the teaspoon range of food.
These are 2 separate nights, and the order wasn’t for 1 item. Tacos and burritos are usually the victims of this and the first time I called to complain to corporate, they were incredibly kind and contacted the manager. Of course, at that point it’s up to the manager to talk to his staff because there are standard to how much a bean burrito should weigh.
The second time it happened, I was in a rush and against my better judgment, went to this location (I should have gone to Palo Verde & Sterns where they have been consistent in their order prep.) The fact there was a second time and it was close enough to the first one — where the store should have known they were being watched must mean the staff has no respect for the manager. If they are going to screw around and make him look bad, and he’s not going to replace an offending staff member, that doesn’t seem like a competent manager.
I do recommend the one on Palo Verde and Sterns. I know it’s only fast «food» but on a student budget, I have to know what I can get on the run and at least be reasonably sure it will be what I paid for.

I went tonight after yoga; my chi was all nice and balanced, so I thought «fast food; why not?» Del Taco is cheap, fast, and fresh — hee! I had the crispy fish taco and the veggie burrito, and brought home two Macho chicken burritos for my honey. You get a lot of yum for the buck…(Off-topic and kind of gross, but a fly tried to fly in my ear while I was ordering in the drive-​thru — gave me the heebie jeebies and harshed my mellow, but the chow made up for it!) Seriously beats Taco Bell any time (but then, what wouldn’t?)
