This place has decent food and it’s over priced if you ask me. I came here for lunch and was reviewing their menu everything is over $ 8 and small portion. I ordered their chicken tortilla soup in a cup it was close to $ 5 and it was not even that big it was about 5oz. There were bits of chicken and mostly corn. It should’ve been called corn tortilla soup instead. For $ 5 you better off buying it from El Pollo Loco. They give you chunks of chicken and even amount of corn and tortilla chips.

The chicken carbonara is a must have here. I get it every time. I also tried their pesto chicken pasta and it was pretty good. They give a huge portion for what you are paying for. Also, their Caesar salad is amazing; they do not skimp on their chicken. This is a great place to study or to do homework.

The panino with egg and bacon is good. And the yoghurt, it is good.

Honestly I didn’t have too much high hopes going here and it’s a very downgrade and low version of Panera. Food(2⁄5): everything seemed pretty promising on the menu, but I noticed that they didn’t have very many vegetarian options. I got the California veggie grill with the mac ‘n’ cheese and I was extremely disappointed. The Mac ‘n’ cheese as decent but the second I picked up my sandwich it was so soggy and fell apart! Service(2⁄5): when I went up to the counter to tell them about my soggy sandwich, I believe it was the manager… he offered to make another one but didn’t even apologize or seem apologetic at all! Even when taking my order he seem in a rush or in a hurry to get my order down. Ambience(3⁄5): I do like the interior and the family friendly environment it has. When you walk in they even have crayons and coloring books for the kids! Overall very disappointed that I spent almost $ 10 on such mediocre food. I hear some people saying they like this place better than Panera but I really cannot compare. I’m not wasting my time to come back here again.

Strolled in on a Tuesday around 10am. The place was eerily quiet, the whole area was dead. Ordered a small soy latte and a chocolate chip cookie, since they don’t make shortbread. Decided to enjoy my bites and sips outside by the lake, which is the best part about this place. Very serene and relaxing. The latte was ok, too much soymilk not enough espresso, or perhaps the espresso was just really weak. The chocolate chip cookie was amazing! Perfectly cooked with a light crunch outside and soft inside. Lots of chips, but not too sweet. Delicious. I gave them 3 stars for the cookie and great location. Since this was my first time at Corner Bakery, my review is strictly based on this one time visit. I would come back just for the cookie though.

I usually go to the Corner Bakery located in Beverly Hills, which has always been a great experience. Before catching a movie today, I stopped at this location. I only ordered a coffee and cookie. I received my cookie right away, but it took 15 mins for my coffee when I was the first in line. Waiting made me late for the movie, so I finally asked for my coffee and cashier started pouring it as I asked. The cashiers were nice, but clueless and disorganized. I finally tasted the cookie and it was hard as a rock and old. At the Beverly Hills location the baked goods were always fresh and service prompt. I’m very disappointed in this LBC location.

Starving. So I stopped into this Corner Bakery Café. Ordered the Flatbread Avocado sandwich. It «looked» delicious on the menu, proudly showing off several slices of avocado. I was unbelievably let down when I got my sandwich and it literally had one small slice of avocado. Imagine my surprise when the sandwich name starts out with saying it’s an avocado sandwich. Admittedly, it was a good egg and spinach sandwich, but it literally had no avocado on it. I found it severely lacking in the one ingredient it touted to have. As for ambiance, this place is pretty cool. Plenty of seating and a nice outdoor patio.

Five stars based on Bogart’s customer service alone! After a long day of work, it was nice to be greeted and helped by someone so uplifting. Will come back!

Cute place. Yummies on the menu and in the bakery case. Their oatmeal is the best in town. It just gets a bit noisy when crowded…

My husband loved the Anaheim scramble! The service was okay — there was a new guy in training and he did his best. The hazelnut ice coffee he drank was great too.

First time and my breakfast was disappointing. Over cooked, cold potatoes. They reheated the same ones I sent back. Under cooked bacon and mediocre pancakes.

This place is absolute crap. If you’re willing to spend $ 8 – 9 on a pre-made and pre-packaged salad that has been sitting in the back for hours, then this is perfect for you! When I asked if they could simply make a few parts of the Trio options without tomato, I was told by the counter girl — very rudely — that everything is already pre-mixed in the back… Exactly like an overpriced cafeteria. Staff is rude, messy, and the food is sub-par. Spend your hard-earned money on a better experience! P. S. Every single table is filthy, so I have no idea what all those bus boys are doing standing in the corner chatting.

This joint reminded me of Panera with the same type of breakfast and bakery offerings. We stopped her for a quick breakfast before heading back to San Diego. It is clean, staff was nice and food was pretty decent for semi-fast food. I say semi-fast food as some items seemed«prepared» and there is no real«waitstaff» as it is a Café. We all ordered this breakfast panini that was surprisingly good! Also ordered some cookies to go which were also pretty tasty. Not quite good enough that I would say I would go back BUT it was good and clean.

We came in to try the new«unflats». Basically it’s a flatbread stuffed with a ton of fillings and tons of flavor. Hubby had the southwest chicken. He gave it 4 stars. It was sweet and not spicy. Really good. I had the chicken Caesar. 5 stars!!! I loved every bite of it!!! Tons of chicken. Great sauce. Lots of tomatoes. Will have to have this again! Overall it’s pretty filling for a $ 6(each) meal. :)

The service was pretty good here. I ordered an Asian pulled pork sandwich to go. the flavor was hustle perfect, I wish it was a little bigger and more meat in the sandwich. The service was quick and fast. The people over there are friendly

I came here for lunch over the weekend with my family. The man who took my order was a gentleman with a black polo(didn’t see his name tag), perhaps the manager or supervisor; he was nice. We ordered the chicken pomodoro panini, the club panini, some pasta, and the lemon chicken orzo soup. The paninis were OK, nothing spectacular, and the soup I ordered was not true to its taste. I tasted ZERO traces of lemon, and it had a weird color, almost brown. The guy who brought my food out, he could have been a bit more cheery. You should smile a little more, Manny, it would lift people’s spirits. That’s not the worst part though, hold on to your hand sanitizers fellow Unilocalers! This place was filthy! The floors had not been swept. There was food particles scattered, crumbs on the seats, and drink containers left on tables. The tables hadn’t been wiped down after use either. My fork had something green on it(I don’t want to know what it was). If the place would have been packed, I would probably understand the lack of hygiene at the time, but it wasn’t, there were about two or three other people there. Now, on to the restrooms. They were a nightmare!(See photos, and I apologize in advance for making your stomach turn). You can clearly tell that that had not been cleaned in quite some time. I should have visited the restroom before ordering, because now I am left to wonder what their kitchen looks like. The doors on the stalls haven’t been wiped down, the trash bin is overflowing, the towel dispenser hasn’t been polished, the sink… THATSINK… I will let the photo speak for itself, and lastly, the toilets, ATROCIOUS! It looks like they have not been cleaned in months! I did observe about 4 employees all taking breaks at the same time, on their phones and being a bit rowdy. Maybe if two of them took on the bathrooms, and the other two tackled the floors and tables, the place wouldn’t be so dirty. I’m all for taking your breaks people, but sitting around amongst filth? I hope this serves as a wake-up call for CB. Please clean this place up, I still feel uneasy about this visit. If the owner checks out these comments, please go Restaurant Impossible on this place.

It’s not a place that I would normally always go to for lunch, or even a complete meal. The portions are a bit scanty and it is pricey. Not that the food is bad at all. Their selections are tasty and by far, I ordered the harvest salad. The only thing about that harvest salad with chicken that was a bit disappointing was that there wasn’t much chicken. The slices were as thin as deli slices and there were only a few pieces. The entrée portion is definitely NOT twice the size of the café portion at all. It’s more like a quarter more from what I got. The bowl was big, but that was about it. For $ 8.99, I expected the salad to be a bit more than half full. Maybe the sandwiches are better. I’ll give it another chance next time, but will not order the salad.

I don’t normally eat at Corner Bakery but I’ve always enjoyed the lunches that my workplace caters from them, from time to time. The lunches come prepackaged in a personalized cardboard lunch box and it always comes with a fruit bowl, a cookie, chips and your entrée. Our work places always orders sandwiches. This chain is one of those that seems to serve consistently decent food and I sometimes wonder why I don’t eat at their restaurants on a regular basis as I see them here and there. The prices aren’t outrageous and one of the best things about this place is that they deliver. Either that or they’re associated with one of those services that will deliver for them. Whatever the case, I look forward to work lunches from the Corner Bakery because they’re consistently good.
