Cute place with some good wine but too many disappointments to return First we made a reservation for 2 since it was my 40th birthday. Only one outdoor table fire worked and we had it. The lady who was running the place said people pour drinks in the fire which makes them not work. I understand but sitting outside with a fire at the table is part of the experience. Another larger party also had reserved two tables and wanted the table we were at(since it was the only one with fire). According to the lady, they threw a huge fit, threaten to write a negative review and instead of saying sorry, she asked us to move. The tables are shareable we thought. This is after we’d already ordered two flights, several beers and food. It just seemed so nasty to ask us to move when we’d been their first, had a reservation and ordering a lot. We moved, and asked for our check to leave. Food, mediocre at best. The margarita pizza was lacking flavor and small, the Brussels sprouts the same. Plus the menu said it had almonds in the dish but they were peanuts, which I don’t like. The meat and cheese was ok. We had plans to try more food but our night ended early I was excited for my first visit and my birthday. We had a great table and I was looking forward to a great evening. I was severely disappointed to have a reservation and then be asked move. The staff should have told the other party they could share our table or use another one. We were open to them sharing. Had all their tables worked properly maybe it wouldn’t have been such an issue. In conclusion just too many disappointments for the cost of evening there. We went to Marlkeys after leaving and had a much better dinner

Friends went(didn’t heed my warning). The portions were small and the mimosas watered down. They will not return. And to the owner, please don’t respond again. I stand by what I wrote.

I have to say we were very impressed with this place! Happy hour on Thursday evening is ½ off wine glasses so right there we were hooked! We ordered the Caprese Salad which is small but packs a lot of flavor and hit the spot. After a couple of more ½ off glasses of wine, we had the chicken flautas which were so yummy – a perfect amount of fresh wonderful ingredients and the chipotle sauce was amazing! The service was fabulous, our server was super friendly and the chef Joey came out and gave a personal touch to the menu. The whole menu looks wonderful and I can’t say enough about this little spot that is just the perfect place to sit on a couch next to a fire pit and enjoy a glass of wine, good food and some good company :)

Just discovered this place, my girlfriend and I got the wine flight. Everyone who was working was amazing! My friend spilled wine all over her new jacket, and one of the girls was so nice she sprayed some wine off on it. Super cute, mellow place to hang out for a date night or with the girls.

This is a go-to spot for my husband and I and our friends. Love the ambiance, the service, the wine selection, the small plates, and the live music. We came on Valentine’s Day for their special three-course meal with wine pairing and Dena and her team did not disappoint! They transformed the wine bar and outdoor seating area into a romantic little bistro. We were treated to a wonderful dinner, desert and wines while several local musicians played and sang. The team at 5 O’clock Wine Bar transformed their space into a romantic bistro and we were lucky enough to get a place at one of the outdoor fire pits. It was such a fantastic California day today and we thoroughly enjoyed our special Valentine’s Day celebration at the wine bar. But you don’t need to wait for a special occasion to enjoy it. Any day is a great day there and it’s always 5 o’clock somewhere!

Great wine, delicious meat and cheese platter, and relaxing ambience. Rachel was an excellent host and all the staff is very friendly. Loved the live music and the fire pits have a warm, welcoming feel. Great beer and wine selection. Would recommend to anyone!

Great little place to spend the evening with our book club. We had the two tables outside by the fire pit and Rachel as a waitress=a good book club meeting for sure . We had great bottles of wine and with each bottle you get a free cheese plate to enjoy. The Brussel sprouts flat bread was amazing and Rachel’s special flat bread also amazing . Thanks for a great night we will be back.

Absolutely love this place. Ambiance is charming and personal with a touch of artistic flair. The owner, Dena, is awesome. The service was on point. From remembering all of our orders, to quick service time and awesome pairings and suggestions. The Chicken Street Tacos were pretty good, but let’s talk about the Brussel Sprouts. O. M. G. So good. Flavor was absolutely mouth watering. Perfect texture and so delicious with the pomegranate and cheese.(Totally craving some now!) Perfect place for a girls night out though I can’t wait to bring the hubby for a date night.

I ALWAYS want a place that has wine, cheese, firepit and music. This place has all of it! I went on my birthday with my family and had the best time. It was a little on the quiet side the whole night(Friday night) but since my group is loud and obnoxious it was better that way. Favorites: –Cheese plate –Happy hour prices –Flight of white wines — Friendly staff –Good music –Affordable prices Negatives: –Couldn’t tell if they brought us out happy hour portions or regular –Flow of restaurant is tight/confined –Bathrooms are disconnected

Always a great experience here! Love Dena the owner — she knows her wines and makes great recommendations. Food is terrific too, although we only had a quick glass of wine this evening. Highly recommended!

Terrible from the beginning. I have never been so rudely unacknowledged by a restaurant staff(I served fine dinning for years in Chicago). The bartender(host or whatever he was) looked at us and turned away as soon as we got there. We stood right in front of him for several minutes before I finally said«Hello.?» Didn’t look up, just said«uh huh?» We left promptly. I can’t say anything about the food or wine but the place is situated in parking lot facing the parking lot. It’s like tailgating. Owners, if you’re reading this, fire that bartender, he’s killing your Saturday night business. Manners count. It’s part of the enjoyment of dinning. If the guy can’t even greet your guests I’m guessing he’s not providing some of the more refined and nuanced levels of service like finesse, guidance and exceeding expectation. There are better, more interesting and pleasant places to spend your money. I’ve had better service at Subway.

Really a nice place to try, we bought a bottle of wine and we sat outside with the fire pit glowing listening to live music with two good folk musicians that took requests. The cheese plate was good, 3 kinds of cheese, nuts, bread and a red pepper tapenade dip. Joe was charming, personable and a great host, whether he owns or is the manager of this wine bar, we didn’t know, but he made our visit very welcoming. Thanks for a fun evening and we’ll see you again!

WHAT’S GOOD Two small fire pits, live music, and the seating options include a loungey patio with a partial marina view, a traditional wood-and-cork wine tasting room, and a strange, secluded wine trellis tunnel. Parking isn’t a problem. The rose’ is great(sold by the bottle, but I was allowed a few glasses from an open one). Service is fine. Social coupon-friendly. WHAT’S LAME Winner of worst bruschetta ever. You have to make it yourself, tearing apart half-sliced bread, and using whole mozzarella doesn’t allow the tomatoes to stick. It’s bruschitty.

Cute little place to get together with friends and talk over some wine. They serve food also. I tried the sauvi and it was delicious! One of the best I’ve ever had! Service was friendly. What really caught my attention was the breezy, beachy décor! I loved every inch of the place. The corks, shells, glass marbles. Very cute! I wish I lived closer because I’d come visit for some wine weekly!

I had been wanting to check this place out for a while and I finally did last night. I love the concept and the venue itself is really cute. The fire pits and live music made it the perfect ambiance. The wine we had was also very good. They have a pretty great selection and I love that you can get a wine flight. They also have craft beer. We ordered the bruschetta, BBQ chicken flatbread, veggie panini and the lava cake. Everything was delicious! The only negative is that the flatbread was kind of small for the price. The reason I can’t give this place 5 stars is because of the service. There were two people working(one of which was cooking the food) and at one point at least 40 – 50 people there. It became very difficult to get any new items and added a level of frustration to the experience. They two people working were great, they were just very understaffed.

Walked in at 9:08, got a super weird look from the bartender who was busy flirting with 2 females. Asked what time they were closing and he said about 10 – 15 minutes, though the time is clearly listed as 10pm. I said okay and turned around, with nothing in return from the bartender and the 2 females just giggling. RUDE.

Cool low key spot for a sip after 5! Happy hour specials and tasty bites. Sit outside by the fire pit and enjoy live music while soaking up the sea air and get some people watching in! Service is great, little quiet on Thursdays but overall a lovely vibe!

Dena, the owner does not return messages when one is attempting to reach her. Repeated attempts apparently do not garner her attention. Wine is thoroughly mediocre, food is pretty good and the band is way too loud for such a small establish. Very poor business practice.

Had a great time tonight! They had a great little jazz band playing, it was perfect. The weather was nice so we sat in the comfie chairs outside. Just watching the people drifting by(probably coming off the pleasure cruises and fishing boats etc). Definitely would recommend this place.

This place is really chill and romantic or perfect for a girls night out. Love the walkway covered in vines. Chill couches, fire pit and dude singing acoustic guitar. Came here with a friend one night and they offered us free truffles. Friendly staff. Wine was ok. I honestly had to try a few before I found one I liked but they were cool enough to let me try them first. The peach Bellinis are delicious!

Very cool and relaxing wine bar on the harbor. Live music outside with a fire pit. If you want to sit outside with the fire pit I would suggest getting there early. We tried their flights of wine which were a great price for what you got. They’re choices in wine for the month of June were very good on the red side. We also had one of their meat and cheese plates and a flatbread. Everything was tasty and hit the spot. I think we ended up spending about $ 100 for 3 of us but we were there for a good 3 to 4 hours. Good times!

It’s 5 O’CLOCK somewhere… time for a drink One, two, three o’clock, four o’clock rock Five, six, seven o’clock, eight o’clock rock Nine, ten, eleven o’clock, twelve o’clock rock We’re gonna rock around the clock tonight It’s Friday evening and it is time to blow off some steam. Not really but I was in the mood to go out and my Wine Meetup group was having a shindig so I invited a plus one and we headed out to join the fun. This bar isn’t actually new perse. It was the CA Wine Bar up until about May when they got bought out and this place took over. For the most part it’s the same place and they still have some of the wines I love and they have some new ones. So we arrive and the place is already hoppin. Woohoo let’s get this party started! This place is pretty tiny so our group quickly filled it up. There was someone outside singing and entertaining folks as the sun set and the patio group sat around the fire pits enjoying their glasses of wine! Inside it was buzzin with people arriving and standing in line to get there wine tasting card. Tara and her hubby wore fedora’s so we could all identify them as the group organizers. Cute idea and it made it super easy to find them in the crowd. KB and I walk in and the line quickly moves forward. We decided to get the 6 wine taste for $ 25 buck-a-roos because the list was pretty extensive and we could do either white or red or mix and match. PERFECT! I went with the white because I tend to like sweeter wines, plus its summer and I wanted something light, crisp and not too heavy being that it was a warm day out. KB went with red because he’s a red person. We each got a glass with our name written on it with some special glass pen which was GREAT cuz you knew that your glass would not get confused with anyone’s else’s. SMARTIDEA! Just as we got our glasses and looked up a space opened up to sit and we quickly grabbed it knowing that with this group we’d be standing if we didn’t jump on it. I did want to sit outside but this was perfect since this place is located near the water and it tends to get cooler during the summer evening hours. About 15 minutes later a huge meat and cheese tray came out for our group and they sat it on the piano so we all could grab some cheese and crackers and meat to absorb the wine and leave sober later. I was going to grab something but there were not tongs or forks, napkins or mini plates to put anything on or serve yourself and when all the grubby hands started to touch the food I sort of got grossed out! There is NOTELLING where people’s hands have been! Yikes! Can you say IBOLAVIRUS? It would have been nice to have serving utensils, napkins or plates for people. So KB and I looked at each other and said let’s get a menu and order something. I got the crème brule dessert and KB got the margarita pizza. This worked out PERFECTLY because instead of having to stand back in line for our second, third or fourth wine sample we got curb service and Steve took our order and got our wine samplings for us and we never had to get up or worry about losing our spot! YIPPY! Steve was awesome at selecting wine tastings for us! He was from NorCal and he was pretty knowledgeable about wines which is more than I can say for myself. Our food came out and the crème brule was NOT at all good! It was soft and a bit on the runny side and didn’t have enough vanilla in it or any other flavoring. The margarita pizza was dry and teeny-tiny. The food here seems to have taken a turn for the WORSE! Hopefully it will get better. Later we got our own cheese and crackers and it was pretty good but again teeny-tiny! Why serve food and it NOT be GOOD or so small of a portion a person has to order 2 to 3 items. I think next time I’ll eat before I go so I don’t have to worry about food! Pretty disappointing considering the place that owned it before had SLAMMIN food! Service was GREAT, NICE wine selection and its small and NOT pretentious! Aside from the food everything was REALLYNICE! Thank Goodness its NOT a restaurant or I’d give them 2 – 3 stars!
