Smoothies good. Loved greenie but disappointed to find out that juices aren’t cold pressed!

All I’ve tried is the acai bowls and they were amazing! I really recommend this place.

This location made me miss my Nektar location that is close to home. :(
I went and the initial service was ok but when my drink was ready the guy serving me just put it on the counter without calling out. I was waiting and the only way I knew my drink was done was to walk over and I even had to ask what drink it was in the counter ???
If I hadn’t of looked over I wouldn’t of known my drink was ready. When I asked the guy who made my drink about why the drink was just sitting there he was sort of «blasé «about the whole thing. I heard him call out everyone else’s order and didn’t bother calling mine out. I frequent the area so I may stop in and try it out again but nothing beats the warmth of my home store. It’s just something about kind and genuinely friendly service that makes it for me. I guess I just wanted to feel the same way when I went here. We’ll see for next time. Other than that my drink was ok. Not bad but not the greatest either. All in all maybe it was not the best day. Next time.

The menu was updated with a few really delicious bowls, juices and smoothies. The new superfood acai smoothie is delicious and a great way to sneak in some greens. I come here often and they have great service and excellent choices. Don’t miss this spot!

After a long tour of the PCH, we stopped into this juice bar to revitalize before going towards Malibu for an amazing sunset. The workers were SO nice and friendly. We got an Apple Detox and The Buzz. Both of them were so good. We felt a burst of healthy energy and nutrition flowing back into our worn out bodies. Stop in and see the business card bulletin board. Our Texas flag alien design is trying to make its way to the coast.

I love Nekter and the Date Nut smoothie is my absolute favorite! I have ordered their other juices and they are tastey as well.

Love love love the pink flamingo!!! Perfectly blended, great flavors. It is my go to every time!

I stop here every morning for my berry banana smoothie. I am always greeted with a smile and delicious smoothie. I haven’t tried anything else on the menu but they have many regular customers who rave about the acai bowls. I wish they had more locations!

Went to the farmer’s market in Long Beach, and had a craving for an acai bowl. I remember that there was a place nearby that had them, and thus I went to Nekter! It’s located next to Trader Joe’s, Veggie Grill, and Coffee Bean. The interior is small, but I didn’t mind, because I wasn’t going to eat it there anyway.
I had ordered an acai berry bowl, and it was $ 7.95. It’s pretty big, and my boyfriend and I shared it, even though I know I could have probably finished it on my own, lol. It had hemp granola, blueberries, strawberries, bananas, and honey. I wish it had more honey though, but all in all, it was very tasty.
If you’re ever in the area, and want a good acai bowl, definitely come to Nekter and buy one. They have three different ones to choose from!

Just had the worst bowl I’ve ever had in my life. I ordered the tropical and literally half of my bowl we granola. The actual fruit blend was bland as well. I wasn’t in the mood for banana granola… thats basically what I had. The chocolate smoothie is awesome though, just bummed cuz I wasted my lunch break eating that yucky bowl

Five stars not just for quality, but for service!
I’ve been to this location a handful of times, but today was to pick up a five day Classic Cleanse which I had purchased online. I commute a ways to work, so after ordering, I called to make sure I could pick up everything when the shop opened today and still get to work on time. They said no problem, and I girded myself for the five days.
This morning when I went in, the crew working was apologetic for the miscommunication, but explained deliveries like that wouldn’t arrive until 10AM, which meant my five days would be pushed back (and into a not-​so-​great schedule!). When I explained the situation, they went to work straight away and finessed a Day One for me, even without all the official juices handy.
A huge THANK YOU to Meagan and her coworker! You went above and beyond, and I’m so grateful! I got to work early, my Day One is halfway through, and I’ll be back to pick up the rest of my order tonight :)
Nekter, you have some really great humans in Long Beach!

Quality ingredients, flavorful menu options, and fair prices; what’s not to love! I was recovering from a night out on Broadway and my liver felt a little funky. So I wanted something to feel not so disgusting. I ordered a 24oz Toxin Flush ($ 7), which has parsley, spinach, apple, lemon, and ginger. According to Nektar, the Toxin flush is supposed to «help your body to naturally rid itself of toxins in the blood and liver and soothe your tummy too.» They can add hangover relief to their narrative because I felt much better after drinking it lol. Oh, and it also tasted great! I’ll definitely be coming back!

Can I trade in the Jamba Juice near my house for a Nekter?! I’m so in like with their juices and acai bowls here. I wish there was another location a lot closer. I modify the blends a lot whenever I get acai bowls elsewhere but here, I leave them as is. Same with the juices.
My top 3 juices: the little beet, the buzz and the greenie! As for them chilled. As for prices, I think they’re average compared to other juice bars. Nobody said going for a healthier lifestyle was cheap! As for juice consistency, it’s on point every time. Finally, a place I can go to with people who stick to the recipes. Gracias!
My top 2 acai bowls: pb bowl and pitaya bowl! They come in one size which makes life a whole lot easier. I love that any bowls automatically come with hempseed granola for topping. You can request for gluten free granola which is $ 1 additional charge.
The associates here are super nice and friendly. I’ve dropped in for a quick ginger shot and they made me feel welcomed. They always ask how your day is going and they have pretty smiles!
Location is convenient too. I normally go here after making a stop at Veggie Grill, literally a few steps over!

Rather than write a 3 star review, I will write a 4 star review, but note that I prefer my other place 2 miles away for acai bowls and ginger shots. Though Nekter has smoother acai, more consistent service, and a great shared waterfront patio, my other place lets me choose the flavor and amount of granola, and they give an apple slice chaser with the ginger shot.

So I’ve been to two locations. The one in Arizona which has horrible customer service and the one here which was fine. I got the lovely smoothie and the Pitaya bowl and it was good. Not so much for the smoothie. I think everyone I chose was always missing an element. I stayed away from the green ones due to the fact that I had a bad taste experience and they wouldn’t let me even fix it or exchange. But I have this place another chances s went a different root and got a juice smoothie that I was familiar with than something that may have tasted great somewhere else but not at this location. Pricy is all I have to say. I mean I love smoothies and fruit bowls but not for as much as I paid for it and when treating others if you love your wallet find a cheaper place.

Great smoothie/​juice bar for when you’re sick of chains like Juice it Up or even Jamba Juice, where smoothies are an intoxicating mix of high fructose corn syrup, ice cream sherbet, and frozen fruits.
Here, you can find smoothies with real wholesome ingredients that can get you through the day without a sugar crash. Guilt-​free sweet treats.
Obviously it’s overpriced. If these foods are a huge part of your lifestyle, it would probably be a better idea to invest in a juicer and bags and bags of fresh produce weekly. If not, and you’re either just curious or looking for a quick detox, this place does the trick!
I’ve tried the «Popeye Acai» smoothie and it’s delicious. I love that the smoothies are blended so well here so you don’t get tiny bits of kale or spinach stuck in your teeth. It’s perfectly creamy blended with almond milk, with a hint of sweetness from agave nectar.
Seasonal «Valentines Date» smoothie is also delicious – blend of strawberries, cashew milk, kale, dates, agave.
Their juices sound really good too.
Will be back to try more.

I own a juicer and sometimes it proves to be kind of a drag to buy all the produce needed for just one glass of juice. Not to mention the clean up detail afterwards. So, yea, my juicer has been collecting dust for some months now. Came across Nekter when I had a hankering for some ice cream and opted for the Toxic Flush. Definitely on point with the ginger and the parsley and I definitely didn’t have to worry about the clean up afterwards.

Acai bowls and juices are quite trendy in the health nut world, and yummy too. This place is local for me and would say that the acai banana berry bowl was well made with fresh ingredients!
Great service, and there are plenty of cute seating outside (inside gets noisy since they are making the blends). Service was fast and friendly.
I only marked off a star due to my crying wallet.

Absolutely love Nektar and all that it offers. From the top notch customer service from all employees to the freshness of their quality ingredients you are certainly in for a nutritious and delicious juice or smoothie. The fresh scent of fresh fruits and veggies just makes me want to take that immediate first sip of my Greenie Juice. I just crave this juice and wished they had one closer to home, but those times that I am In the area I certainly make a stop and indulge.
