This Ralph’s is great and I’ve been to quite a few on LI. The service is wonderful and friendly. My family enjoys this location and it’s one of our go-​to spots for a refreshing treat.

Horrible service. I would give the. Zero stars if I could. They couldn’t answer simple questions, count change or get a very simple order right. My sundae came with no joke. about 20 sprinkles. I asked for more and they charged me for another 20. Waste

When I was pregnant with my first child, all I could think of was where I could get my next sugar fix. It didn’t help that I lived within walking distance to a 7 – 11 (Slurpees), CoCo’s (bubble tea) and Ralph’s. I used to get the pints of a bunch of flavors. I guess I’m the one to blame for my daughters sweet tooth (she can live on ice cream and chocolate if I let her!)
So when I had an opportunity to revisit Ralph’s Italian Ices on a recent trip to Long Beach, I jumped at the chance. Maybe it’s my none-​existent sweet tooth with this pregnancy… but I got the watermelon ice and it was so artifical tasting. The hubs got the pineapple which wasn’t as bad and the 3 year old got the chocolate mousse which I had to say was by far the best of the three flavors. Still very disappointing. I’ll try again post pregnancy and update but it was pretty disappointing this time around.
