Good drinks fun atmosphere and awesome drink specials. Rotating craft brews and dodger games on the big screen projector. Look for Luis if you want a bomb cocktail.

Came here with the intention of celebrating my friends birthday and having fun. It was good when we got there, small hipster bar not enough seats but I would say it’s super friendly with your wallet can’t complain on that. I order a long island ice tea and it didn’t taste good it was sour very sour so I asked a lady from the bar if she could make me a new one and she said was only the manager and that she didn’t make drinks she was like let me ask someone to make it for you, so there was a bartender a girl didn’t get her name(colorful hair) was chatting with her friend and the manager told her to make me a new drink and she said«she could fucken wait» and the«manager» didn’t say anything so I waited about 10minutes until I got her attention and she was like can I help you and I told her about my drink and all she did was add coke to my drink and went back to chatting, very disappointed with the service won’t come here again.

Cool little hipster spot! Came here on a late night with some friends and we weren’t disappointed! The bartenders are super fun and friendly! We had their Moscow mules and they were excellent! We will be back for sure!

I went in with the intention of having a few drinks with my cousin from Washington. I asked for a Jameson on the rocks and they gave me a cup full of ice and an ounce of Jameson and charged me 7 bucks. I don’t mind paying 7 bucks for Jameson, but certainly not ice! I left immediately, I’m not going to pay out the nose for ice.

I loved the stach bar! It was super cute inside. Loved the décor and the bar tender was awesome. He makes the best old fashions I have ever had! I will definitely be back. This place is a hidden gem! My kind of bar. Great for happy hour:) Good music too!

Love Stache Bar/The Stache/Mustachio Mothafuckaaaaaaa! Been here a hunid fitty fo’ times and just left, actually. Needless to say, I’m feeling gooooood and wanted to drunk Unilocal them some love. Great beer selection –rotating crafts on tap, Mexican beers galore, that PBR garbage– and(in my not so humble drunken opinion) the best hand crafted cocktails in LB. Yeah, I said it! Those foo-foo spots, not gonna name names but YOUKNOW who I’m talking about, are overpriced and under sauced. Stache is where it’s at. It is tiny and does get packed on weekend nights but whaddaya gonna do. Edit: Actually wrote this a few weeks back and just now realized I never finished. Note to self; I wax poetic pretty damn well when I’m hammered, if I may say so myself. Salud!

Bartenders are phenomenal, unique drinks(thank you for letting me name your latest creation«heaven in your mouth»), and great atmosphere. It’s a small bar, there’s a pool table, but I like how laid back it is and the fact that I’m not a big fan of cider, but they have one that tastes like a mimosa with a punch! I don’t frequent Long Beach, but so far this is my favorite bar.

good cheap drinks. They always have new and interesting beers on tap. I’m a fan of stouts and sours and I’m always finding my favorites here. When they had Xocoveza on tap, I was in heaven. Paying the extra money for priority is necessary if you want to hear any songs you play on the jukebox.

Prices are nice and wallet friendly. Bartender seems to know what’s up and can make off menu drinks. Hip spot.

Came here for my 25th birthday a couple of months ago. Tired of the same old second street and crowded college bars I go to Unilocal in hopes of a nice chill bar, and i come across The Stache. Pictures look cool and reviews are on point so 2 of my friends and I decide to go check it out. Parking is on the street so it takes a few tries to find one seeing how its a Saturday night and all. We don’t mind the walk. Gotta admit the walk there is a bit sketchy but nothing can stop me in search of quality drinks and beer. To my surprise thats exactly what i find. The bar is small and dive-y…mix in the crowd from older to a bit younger, still very cool atmosphere. We are lucky enough to find 3 empty stools at the bar right after walking in… we order a few drinks an service to my surprise was quick and professional. i really wish i remembered the name of our bartender because he was super chill, fast, entertaining and very good at what he does. He had a good eye at seeing who was at the bar before the next person so everyone was getting served and asked what they wanted in an orderly fashion I ordered the irish mule, my friends ordered something girly that tasted pretty good idk lol I then went with an old fashioned which i must say was pretty Amazing anddd to end the night my friends asked for something that would get me pretty messed up for my last shot and the bartender just looks at me and smiles cuz he knows exactly what hes gonna give me… adds a total of about 7 different liquors not including all the other mixers and stuff im thinking its gonna taste disgusting and to my surprise it was delicious! Will be coming back, for the amazing drinks and especially for the service!

Nope, no sir. Came in here tonight after work(at a bar!), no line at the door, plenty of standing room inside. Got a spot at the bar immediately and looked over the beers on tap. Surveyed the bartenders and waited patiently, no rude waving or shouting, just waiting for some kind of acknowledgement, tell me it’ll be a second or just glance at my face! And you know what? I can’t just turn my back and start chatting with my friends because I might miss you, might lose my chance at your attention in a seconds time, so I have to wait for you and ignore my friends for a few minutes, which is fine for a few minutes. But when you blatantly pass over me and refuse to look at me and serve people that freshly walked up I don’t get it! Like why? After 10 minutes with no service I left.

We stopped off here for a drink and found this place to have some really great drinks and beer selection. They do a ‘daily punch’ which is always made from fresh ingredients. Tonights punch was made from vodka, gin, lemon, elder berry, pluots and, rosemary, and it was very refreshing. They were also doing screwdrivers with fresh squeezed oranges. I had several of those and they were great. The staff here is very friendly, they even recommended an excellent mexican food place next door called La Frida. We’ll be back for sure :)

Wow, I thought I had already reviewed The Stache! We’ve been coming here for years now. It was our second favorite bar in Long Beach. Red Room was our very most favorite. That is, until Blake left Red Room and the geniuses at The Stache were smart enough to hire him. Good move! Now the Stache is our favorite watering hole. Blake is the kind of bartender I love: he makes amazing cocktails, he will remember you when you come back, and he’s generally just fun to hang out and shoot the shit with. Actually, everyone at the Stache is great. They have a constantly rotating beer selection, at least one choice of a cider if you hate beer, a killer bourbon and rye selection, and the yummiest cocktails in town at a really fair price. This place is a hidden gem in Long Beach!

First time at the Stache last night and definitely not the last! Read the reviews especially the negative ones and really appreciated the way Brett replied to each and gave the other side of the story. That being said, I walked in Wednesday evening around 8pm and there were a few people at the bar. A mix crowd which is always cool to see. I’m not 20something any more so not looking for a place to power drink. I enjoy a good beer or cocktail and don’t mind paying for it. It was all day happy hour and the prices were dialed. Sat at the bar and was greeted by both bartenders… super friendly and attentive. I was offered samples of any beer right away and was helped out with the drink menu. It’s cool that they make their own juices and infused liquors. Sampled 4 of their cocktails and not a single complaint about any one of them. Keep up the great work guys and I’ll be seeing you again!!!

This local spot is one of my favorite places in Long Beach. It’s far enough away from the glitz and glamour of Pine and Ocean but still within walking distance. No need to drive or Über. Just tie your shoelaces and put one foot in front of the other. Cristina is a riot of laughs and smiles. She has plenty of energy and makes you feel welcomed each time you come in. You can hear her laughter all the way to the bathroom. The beer menu is always changing so it keeps you coming back to see what new batch they are offering. Typically 9 draft choices plus the bottled selections like Shiner Bock. David makes a mean cocktail if that’s what you want. He came up with some fresh drinks for 5 de Mayo. He busts his ass whipping up his libations and it shows. Great place to watch a game and get to know your fellow man.

I’m digging this place. Don’t let the sketchy outside deter you from coming in. +Cocktail menu. They do the fancy cocktails here and they are SO tasty! I love how they use unique ingredients like jam. +Large whiskey selection. +Good variety of beers on tap. +Bartenders nice and friendly. +Chill & cool vibe, feels hipster and divey at the same time. +Tvs around for your BF who wants to watch sports.

I’ve updated my star count based on my experience there the night following NYE. It was a little busy there but drinks were good and service cool. I probably should put more stars because the classic cocktails there were great. The problem was the service and bad drinks later in the evening. Not the bartender ‘s fault though unless she partly owns it. I was there on new year’s eve and the place was jammed pack, probably beyond the allowed limit, and there was one bartender. She had some help but they weren’t doing much to help. One guy was only doing beer and the other guy was stuck at one end and I’m not sure he was doing cocktails either. It was about 30 minute wait for a drink. Then at the end of the night my Russian mules tasted like they had no vodka and it was all ginger. If u go get a Manhattan or Old Fashioned they were great before the craziness

I give this place a 5 +++ it always has a great environment. It’s not ghetto. I don’t come here often, only when I come to visit my friend. We always end up in this location. The place is small cozy, only about 5 tables, you’ll get lucky if you get a table. It has a big pool table. The restrooms are fairly clean, and the atmosphere is loud on Friday/Saturday nights. To use a credit card the tab should be more than $ 10 in order to charge it, but. It’s okay you can spend $ 10 on two-three drinks with there great prices!
